....are really necessary, though.I wish this kind of 'toy' had been around when I was a little girl, as perhaps I wouldn't be so rubbish at hair and make-up! I think kids start to be interested in stuff a lot younger, and this was immediately pounced upon by my 6yo and 7yo nieces; officially, it's meant for ages 8+. Yes, it was with their mum's permission and with mum helping, as some of the contents aren't the most suitable for little kids, like the orange sticks and dotting tool.Overall, there's plenty here, from 8 bottles of colour (4 bright and garish and 4 more of the kind that you'd be able to attempt a French manicure with), nail files, a magnifier for when applying the decorative finish,a dryer (that we didn't bother with, as it's in parts and the girls found it fiddly to keep it all together), brush, glitter and adhesive tape. However, I don't think that the pack is great value for money, as you can buy budget range polishes and nail pretties from supermarkets, drugstores, chemists and 'ninety-nine-p' stores and could still have the same kind of fun.Packaged as it is in such a large box kind of gives the impression that there's more inside than their is, and what there is, in fact, isn't all that practical. TBH, the contents could have fitted into a box roughly half the size, However, the nieces loved it - their mum, not so much, especially as this should last and last, given how much varnish there is in each pot!

Buki are a French toy company, which specialise in scientific kits, as well as arts and crafts. It is arguable how educational you feel a Professional Studio Nail Art kit actually is, but this is a well designed toy which certainly appealed to my daughter and her friends. The box is quite large and there is a lot packed into this. Inside the box, you will find: 8 nail varnishes, a stand, a dryer (batteries not included), a magnifier, 2 nail files, 1 dotting tool, 15 orange sticks, 1 fan-shaped brush, 1 think brush, 1 tub of glitter, 3 adhesive tapes, 1 sticker sheets and 20 double sided sheets. As with so many toys now, there are also codes,so you can get online tutorials.Much of this box is taken up with the dryer and this seemed to offer a lot of fun to my daughter and her friends, who enjoyed play acting beauty salons. However, that aside, you do get an awful lot in this set and a good range of coloured nail varnish, which is fairly good quality. With a magnifying glass to aid you adding pretty stickers, there is actually a lot of arts and crafts included in this; as well as some good play value if your children enjoy the idea of pretend play. I think this is good value and, although parts of it do not work too well (the dryer actually does very little – but so do adult versions I have used!) , it is a huge amount of fun and you get proper sized bottles of nail varnish and a lot of accessories.

This is a super set for any little fashion conscious girl. The set has 8 full size bottles of nail varnish and the colours are very modern. The box contains everything you need to have your nails looking fabulous, lots of stickers, glitter, files and even contains nail varnish stands to keep your varnish tidy. The only downside is the magnifying glass, for a few pence more they could have added a much better quality item. My grandchildren have has great fun doing each others nails. I have even been given a make over, however I had to let my nail dry naturally as of coarse my fingers were a little too large for the drier. The box was a little large for the content,giving the idea that the goodies inside would be much larger than they actually are. The web page stated that batteries would be sent out,but I never received any batteries, but was prepared to over look this. This is a great item and with a tweaking could be a super item, Therefore it's only 4* from me folks

In the box you receive:8 x 12ml nail polishes and a stand- These are full sizes compared with the high street and the colours aren't bad either.Nail sticksNail art toolMagnifying glass - not great but cuteNail dryer (without batteries) - not great and not neededEmery boardsNail art cards which are 'how to' guides - really fun and helpfulNail glitter pot and brushYou can also scan a code on the box with your phone to get more tips!At first I thought this was going to be rubbish and in fairness some bits are - the dryer and magnifying glass but these are just extras as you really don't need them.I would have loved to receive this when I was a child!Obviously there is no remover included either but just like anything this set should be used under supervision in case nail varnish appears everywhere!

I got this set for my nine year old granddaughter and I'm sure that she will love it.Coming from French manufacturer Buki the set comes in a large, 30 x 30 x 15cm, box containing 8 nail varnishes, a stand, a battery operated dryer (2 x AA batteries required), a magnifier, 2 nail files, 1 fan-shaped brush, 1 thick brush 1 dotting tool, 15 orange sticks, 1 tub of glitter, 3 adhesive tapes, 1 sticker sheet and 20 double sided sheets.The nail varnishes appear to be of reasonable quality, according to my wife, but the dryer and magnifier are a bit flimsy and plasticky more to pad out the box than be actually useful I think.But then I have to remember that this set is just a toy and one which willgive most girls in the age range of 9 upwards a great deal of fun.

Got as a shared present for our girls. There is a great deal packed in here with a nail dryer, lots of coloured varnishes, powders, stickers, etc. Also a great 'docking' station to avoid spills and drips! In addition some useful cards with tips and tricks. All good and enough to keep a shared present shared...

This is a brilliant present for a young girl ( s ).Most young girls will take to this.A professional nail studio. WOW!!!This nail salon will delight young girls. Everything you could possibly need is in this box.My friends daughters will get hours of fun with this set.Brilliant

My daughter loved this she’s 11. Her younger brother got involved to. Nice little set comes with a booklet to show you how to do nail art. She’s me the nail dryer doesn’t actually help dry the varnish.
