The 'Buki France BE108 Be Teens Bohemian Jewellery' set comprises a cardboard box (approximately A4 sized) with a plastic insert containing multiple packets of boho-style beads in both large and small sizes, jewellery fasteners - including for dangly pierced earrings, embroidery thread for tassel making, and cord for stringing necklaces and bracelets. The set comes with a sturdy laminated booklet with instructions (in multiple languages) for making six different jewellery projects from the contents of the set, which is ideal for beginners, and also can of course be retained and used as a guide long after the beads and things in this box have been used up (all the contents can be purchased fairly readily at craft shops). We had great fun making the projects, and found the instructions straightforward to follow, if rather fiddly in parts (recommend you have tweezers to hand, and definitely work on a tray). The resultant pieces pleased my little friend greatly, and while they are quite lightweight and plasticky, as I said, the skills learned from making them can be applied with higher-quality materials if so desired. This is the only reason I haven't given the set five stars, as I personally would have been happy to pay a little more to have had hypoallergenic metal fasteners (perhaps sterling silver), which would have enabled me to wear our creations.Great set, with educational value to boot.

My twelve year old grand daughter and I have always enjoyed jewellery making, as I did with my own daughter. Even grandsons have had a go at it. So I chose this for a session with them, and was very pleased indeed at the good quality of the beads and fixings included. Tassel jewellery is very much on trend these days, and so this Bohemian set is up to date, well presented, and robust. The outer box is strong, and the packaging safe for all the bits and bobs. The bright, cheerful and inspirational booklet that comes with the set is useful, teaching us how to create different pieces in detail, with diagrams. It is in many languages but easy to pick out what to do.The box is attractively designed, makes an exciting impression, which would really appeal to a girls from 8 upwards. 'Be TEENS' is a French brand, and has that stylish look one would expect from France. The plastic tray of offered kit is extensive, being far more than I expected. From this set, a life long interest in jewellery making could well grow. It will make a lovely gift for young girls, and keep them occupied for hours, giving a great deal of satisfaction and pleasure. Well done 'Be TEENS'.

A creative jewellery kit, perfect as present for those into these things - I even gave it a go and enjoyed making it with my niece. The beads and fixings are included, without the often rough edges and unsightly large seems from plastic moulding that you sometimes get.The detailed instructions are clear and easy to follow with pictures included for the key steps. What makes this even more helpful is that my niece is growing up in Belgium, and so having the French version alongside the English and other languages meant we could easily follow along at the same time which is something we have struggled to do in the past as she is still learning English and as with most of my fellow countrymen my skill in foreign languages has much to be desired. The variety of parts, all delivered in a tray to make sorting and storage easy, is extensive for this price. I especially liked the options to make earrings, necklaces or bracelets with various fasteners provided which makes the jewellery feel quite grown up once made.

BUKI France BE116 - Be Teens - Unicorn. When my 8 year old niece came to visit me I brought this out for her, she was excited and opened up the box immediately....... She found it very time consuming and wasn't all that impressed that she had to wrap the thread around the card about 100 times (how boring) which I understood totally where she was coming from! She did eventually manage to make a bracelet with a lot of issues before hand that I see have been mentioned in other reviews. She was happy when she left and showed her mum what she had made, don't think she wants to come back and make more tho. There's still lots left to make so next time a family member visits I won't be allowing them to use tabs ect,I'm going to bring this out as its more educational that just sat on a tab!Everything included in this box to make 2 bracelets, 2 necklaces, coloured charms, gold charms, 1 pair of earrings and so much more.Would make a good gift but it's very fidgety to do and time consuming.I wouldn't buy this myself!

This is a great little jewellery set for girls over 8 years of age. In the box you get Assorted beads. pink and brown cotton threads, 1 gold chain, 2 earing hooks, 2 silver charms, 2 gold pins, 2 gold rings and 8 silver rings, 5 lobster claw clasps, 10 crimp end clasps, a reel of cotton thread plastic card, tube of glue and a coloured instruction sheet. S the cam make necklaces, bracelets and earings and interchange them. So many colours little girls can match the fashion colours and be happy they've made them themselves. This will keep my Granddaughter quite for ages here, as she loves craft work. This will made a great little birthday gift for any fashion conscious little girls, and the knowledge they have made them themselves. Great kit

I have two daughters (aged 8 and nearly 11) and they have really enjoyed making the jewellery projects in this kit. Not only have they been able to follow the instructions and complete the items by themselves, they have also managed to deconstruct the jewellery and remake their own designs including other bits and bobs that they always seem to have stashed away!I got them to work on a tray with a lamp nearby to make sure they didn't lose kit and so they could see what they were doing!Any downsides? Well there's been the occasional argument over who is getting what, so perhaps consider stretching to two kits if there's more than one child?

What a delightful surprise! For the price of this set I wasn't expecting too much but some cheap plastic bits and pieces. How wrong I am. There really is only one let down; (although in little cellophane envelopes) the contents are pretty much floating around inside the plastic tray which does no more than stop the box from collapsing. It's basically a much bigger box than needed.Anyhow, the set is certainly worth it's price and would make a lovely gift. The beads are of good quality, the chains look like real gold (not some cheap looking plastic), the trinkets are metal and have a good weight to them.

My daughter has enjoyed playing with this set. You get a few bags of beads and some threads and fasteners, along with an instruction booklet. You can make earrings, necklaces and bracelets, and it's not too hard to do.The main difficulty that we had was following the instructions, as the booklet is printed in lots of languages with each picture accompanied by a list of instructions in each language (see photo). This made it hard to read, we had to constantly try and find the English bit. In the end I had to use a marker to black out the other languages, which of course ruined the look of the booklet.

Two of my granddaughters' age 8 and 10 stayed at the weekend and this was a lovely activity to do with both of them. They both made a bracelet and a necklace each. Some of the items are quite small and the girls did need help with the finishing touches to complete the jewellery, like attaching the clasps. The instructions we good as it told them what they needed for each item before they began. They really liked the unicorn theme.Price-wise it seemed reasonable because they had the fun making the items and although we didn't do the earrings it would have worked out at less than £1.85 each piece made.

The BUKI France BE116 - Be Teens - Unicorn Jewellery set is a lot of fun it allows you to make 5 different pieces of jewellery. You get the pieces to make two necklaces, a pair of earrings, and two bracelets. How they manage to sell real gems at this low price amazes me.Well, that is our little secret, isn't it?These kits that allow your child to actually make something really develops not only their skills but their self esteem.#You would be a llucky parent indeed to be gifted a piece of this priceless jewellery.A lot of fun for not many pennies.

This is a fab set for idling away some time on unicorns - yay! The trinkets are really well made and look like they could have sold individually well. Lots of options and a little book.My only gripe is the packaging. A huge box for a handful of plastic packets inside a massive plastic tray. Really not needed. I get presentation but make a unicorn shaped box and have them in sections within or something. People don't mind paying a little extra for something they can use well.I am 40 in 2 weeks, and very happy with this set.

I have enjoyed jewellery making for years so was delighted to receive this set for girls aged 8-18. My granddaughter is 8 and loves crafts so it is ideal for her. Buying the components for jewellery making can be expensive (though so enjoyable!) so I was pleased to see that this has a decent amount of materials in it. There's enough to make six items. Some of the pieces are very small so some supervision of an eight year old is needed but overall a nice present.

Getting her organised was the hardest part. We used the clear cellophane tray with two compartments to sort out the parts properly. Quite a nice set and though my little great granddaughter did need a little helpful at 6 years old she managed well. erly . She made a bracelet with a cute little hassle . It took a while and it was not without little dramas but she was very pleased to have accomplished it. It was a little big for her but she was delighted

I am delighted with this craft set, I have always bought this kind of things for my children as they have grown and they get to about 12 and the sets become a bit too simple or do not contain things they would like to make so this was a pleasant find. The skill level is manageable for an older child or adult but not so difficult that you would get too frustrated. The bracelets we made were pretty and something they would wear again.

A nice little set with all you need for a few projects. Easy to follow instructions and some nice little pieces for our daughter to use after. A good simple way to encourage artistic ability in a new way maybe and then move on to buying more beads and jewellery fixings. A nice set with enough to keep any child interested as long as they have patience as it can be fiddly. Our 8 year old loved it.
