First thing, I am so grateful to others that have purchased and reviewed these shoes. I read so many reviews before purchasing and am thankful for others input! My left foot rolls out. Lovely genetic trait. So these shoes seemed to fit the bill of support for the plantar fasciitis and the support rails to keep my foot from rolling out! AND! The price was pretty great for the quality of shoe! They are a TAD bulkier than say, a inexpensive NIKE or something, so if you are going from non-fancy shoes to these bad boys, just a tiny bit more bulk. BUT that being said, I can RUN in these! And there is no pain. Well, no foot pain. Plenty of other pains from the actual running, but the feet are good.I did note that the upper portion does rub on the achilles just a tad, it was uncomfortable for a few days, but after I broke them in, they were fine. I do tend to wear slightly taller socks, like ankle socks instead of no show just to combat the rubbing of the material on my skin, but i love these shoes. For fit reference, I wear a 38 in Dansko, 38 in birkenstock, 7.5 in Nike and I ordered a 7.5 in these as well. At first, I wondered if the toe box was too tight for me, but in reality, I had just tied the shoes freakishly tight and upon relaxing the laces, all was well. Highly recommend!

I had to switch from my Brooks Ghost shoes because they were giving me blisters and I was experiencing a lot of pain in the arches of my feet while running. I did a ton of research before purchasing these shoes. The improvement was immediate. I haven't run very many miles in them yet because I'm still rehabbing my feet from the damage I did to them running in the other shoes longer than I should have. However, these shoes are very springy and truly do propel you into your next step and my arch pain is completely gone when I run in these shoes. I was skeptical about the GuideRails but they really do keep my foot in proper alignment (so much so that the first couple of steps in them on my rightside felt very awkward because I couldn't move my foot in the way I was previously and was the source of most of the pain I was experiencing. These are a bit heavier than other shoes I typically wear, so my ankles get tired from the added weight, but with time, I am sure they will strengthen and I will get used to the weight of the shoe. Also, I am a toe striker and I have noticed that the toe box seems a bit smaller than it could be when I run. This isn't an issue walking or standing in the shoes, but does get uncomfortable about halfway through my runs.

So I have done some pretty good damage to my foot. (Plantar plate ruptured, along with a few other injuries that caused an extensive repair... and as of Jan 18, a year long recovery.)I was told to get Brooks brand shoe and I went with it, but I tried the ghost 11. For my specific injury and recovery, I was enormously disappointed in how the shoe felt. I would leave the gym after very basic treadmill use, and have to recover for days. I got blisters on the back of my heel. I was even getting blisters on the top of my pinky toe. I’m not entirely sure why! But they just didn’t do the trick. But I pressed on for the last year with them. Then it became time to replace them.I did more research and found these babies.I could cry. They feel secure on my foot. When I step, I feel NO PAIN. That means, I’m not causing more problems and prolonging my recovery. And, I’m able to go the gym 4+ times a week and not be in agony.I got the purple ones. They colors are fantastic. So I am wearing something cute, and incredibly useful.I recommend these to anyone who has pain in their plantar plate (probably plantar fasciitis as I have seen reviewers here mention) or toes. I will buy these exact shoes over and over again.

I have one foot with a very high arch and the other foot is nearly flat. I've been struggling for 2 years with issues with the leg and hip with the high arch foot. While I still have issues, I have less with the arch support these shoes provide. Very comfortable. Probably the lightest Brooks I've owned and I've owned several. Toe box is just right for my narrow feet with toes that "spread" when I run. I cannot run in other shoes besides this brand because the toe box is not wide enough for my narrow yet somehow wide toes. Great for running and walking both.

I’m at the end of my first day wearing them for 10+ hours on concrete and so far my feet are killing me. I have plantar fasciitis and wear orthotics and I had high hopes. I will keep em wearing them as my podiatrist recommends them......fast forward three weeks and now my feet love these shoes. I think my plantar fasciitis was so bad that it too time to recover. I wear these shoes from the time I wake up until bed (as per my podiatrist) and my feet feel great all day. I have since bought two more pairs.

I love these for the heel and ankle construction. There is memory foam around the skinny achilles that prevents road or path junk from getting in. I do wish there was some arch support, but Brooks is not the only running shoe that has quit making shoes for people with high arches. That seems to be the trend in running shoes to make them all for flat footed people. It is not good for our backs! Bring back the arch support!!!

I am on my feet frequently throughout the day due to working. I have a degenerative knee condition that will ultimately lead to surgery, more than likely. These shoes though are helping me a great deal with the pain I feel easing it by at least 30% or so. They are very supportive and I wear them all the time. I do wish this company would make some other styles that offer this same kind of support though.

This my first pair of Brooks. I very rarely have foot pain when I walk and/or jog in these. If I do have some pain in my arch, usually readjusting my foot is all it takes to take it away. The only reason I gave it a “4”, is because one of my shoelaces began shredding within the first 2 times of wearing them. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this purchase. I will definitely be buying again.

These are very comfortable, moderately supportive shoes. I may need an arch support insert but so far they have been very good. I love that they are colorful and were also on sale - plus Brooks shoes. I love Brooks shoes and they come highly recommended by my Podiatrist (at least both the Addiction and Adrenaline models are, but I’m sure other of their “supportive” models would also be).

I have been wearing these shoes for about a year now. I wear them at work (standing/walking most of the day) for 9 hours straight. They have great support. Some tennis shoes leave me with an aching feeling in my feet afterwards no matter how long I break them in. With these, I had no trouble getting used to them right away. I ordered the teal color and it is identical to the image.

I use them for walking. They offer good support and cushioning at the same time. It took a while to break them in, the heel tab is kind of high and stiff and it kept giving me a blister for a couple of weeks. Now that they are broken in, they are perfectly comfortable and keep me from getting any weird foot, leg, or hip pains. And they look stylish, not like boomer shoes.

Got foot problems... These are the shoes for you! I would recommend for plantar fasciitis, bottom of the foot pain, inflammation (not sure about neuroma or bunion issues). I recently spent a lot of money on doctors, xrays, MRI, and finally was told about Brooks Bedlam shoes when fitted with orthotics. They are wonderful shoes, with or without the orthotics.

These were just what my feet were asking for. I was a little concerned with how hard they felt at first but apparently that is a good thing. I teach high and coach swimming. I wore these all 5 days last week and my feet feel so good compared to usual. My plantar fasciitis is acting up less. I like the way they hug just a little at the ankle too.

I have used the Brooks Adrenaline shoe line for the past 8 years but I decided to try something new. The shoes are higher in the back of my heel and I did have a few blisters due to the new shape. I bought higher cut socks and now the shoes are great. So far I really like the cushioning. They feel lighter then some of the other Brooks shoes.

Feels a snug fit and I have slim feet, but have felt supportive when used for first few runs. I bought a 6.5 and was worried they'd be too small. I'm normally a 6.5. Slightly rubbed the back of my foot but that has gone now. Very light trainers and love the built in tongue and slightly stretchy laces. I will be keeping to brooks from now on.
