My son loves these trains and has a few. The Brio trains seem to be the best electric ones, however changing the battery on the non-rechargeable ones is a pain as you need a screwdriver.I purchased the rechargeable one instead and the battery life is good and the buttons on top are preferable to the rocker switch on the normal ones as my son can press it easily. The lid on front snaps off however seems to be by design so it doesn't break, and you can clip it back in to place.The only negative is that this model is noticeably louder than the non-rechargeable ones.

Excellent usb charging train. Well made and sturdy. USB cable is short but thick and sturdy, so shouldn’t break. Charge take 3 to 4 hours and train last a while when being played with. Train is compatible with all Brio and was bought to add to existing set. It has been well worthwhile....highly recommended

Brio trains are an exceptional durable toys for young children very safe aswell even adults enjoy making the train tracks up with there childrenI would love to see more rechargeable trains as the sets they have now is rather small

Full Mark's will come with a full test.But the set isn't down long enough. May when my little one stops pretending there's an earthquake. Or monster.They set the track up to destroy it. Or the train gets knocked off.

Lovely train, works well, easy for little hands to handle. There is no remote control with it so can't give stars for that. The train is rechargeable via USB cable which works well.

Bought for my grandson who loves it. The charge last for days. So much better than buying battery operated ones which you are forever replacing the batteries

Well made and robust in small hands. Push button fwd, stop and reverse on the cabe roof. manages to pull 4 or 5 wagons over a hump back bridge too.

Not as heavy and well made as the metal steam train, but it does go faster. It’s great that it is rechargeable.

Absolute success. The bigger buttons to operate the train are great and easy to operate by young kids
