I looked around at much cheaper alternatives, I even stopped by at Home Bargains who had non branded ones of these at a quarter of the price but they were very lightweight. I kept coming back to this on Amazon and reading the five star reviews and now I know why. These things are built to last and I needed to buy one that the wife would be happy using, if she wasn't then the tumble drier would have been on non stop!!YES they are expensive but you won't be replacing it any time soon, once folded away they do not take up that much space. If you were very old and fragile it might not be for you, I could imagine the pain of catching your finger in one as you fold it away,

Is huge, but sizing is listed. Great for our south facing bay window in the spare room during the winter. Is very easy to use, excellent quality. Would not choose it personally for a room thats occupied whilst in use. Good weight, heavy enough for outdoor use regarding stability but light enough to move. Some may find it on the heavy side but does fold down easily and efficiently for storage / carrying. Takes less clothing than a similar style that I used from Lakeland a few years ago. (Had a bar on frame (rectangular U shape) that stood vertically from the centre, to use with hangers. Currently unavailable.) But this is more sturdy / well made / aesthetic.

Purchased this to replace a flimsy clothes horse purchased on the cheap at Home Bargains. Needless to say as soon as I put this into action any regrets at the slightly higher price tag of this drier melted away.It folds away very neatly with no bits sticking out into a fairly thin rectangle. When in use you can set the "arms" at different angles, or even only use 1, depending on the space available, which I thought was a great feature. Even with 1 arm in the downward position and 1 up and loaded to maximum capacity with clothes and towels, it still stayed standing without a hint of leaning.

I have this for a while now and am very pleased with it. It is a well made, stable and easy to use dryer with lots of space for drying. I particularly like the flat drying space for drying woolen handwash items (or items that just need drying flat). You can put the two side hanging spaces flat so you can dry three items flat, so it is very versatile. It does take up a lot of floor space and it is not cheap, but I am glad I bought it and would say it was value for money. If I could improve this item I would make the slats for drying perhaps a bit wider.

Brabantia for me spells Quality. It's a bit pricey, but it is going to last me many years. The last one I had, a bog standard one from a local shop more than 20 years ago, got rusty as I left it out in the garden over the winter. This model is well protected from the elements, except I will be storing this one in the house. It is very sturdy and I like how easy it is to erect - no fiddling around or trapped fingers. Splash out - just buy it. It will pay for itself over many, many years.

It is exactly what I was looking for. The airer holds up loads of clothes. It is not only light weight but also it is quite sturdy. Easy to open and close, when you fold it becomes very thin so you do not have to worry about storage space (I put mine behind the door and I barely notice it if it is there). The wings are adjustable and I found this to be a very useful feature. I think it is the best clothes airer in the market. Totally recommend to anyone!

Had one of these years ago and was impressed then with it's robustness and ease of use. Was looking specifically for this type of model and was very pleased to find it here so easily. It has lived up to the previous experience, can't fault it, very easy to move around and put up and down, can use in a compact space or move to the garden on good days. Only minor issue was that I was expecting it in white, but it is in fact a stainless steel finish.

So. Minky or Vielda £30, Brabantia £60. Dilemma. Is it worth double the price.Well.. We think so1. Bigger than most, but packs away the same size2. easy access. I bought this a couple of years ago and I've been using it as the main clothes airer since. I've used it mainly indoors, but also outdoors every now and then when it's sunny and it worked very well both ways. Being able to adjust the position of the drying arms is very useful too. It does require a bit of space, as it's quite large, but I'd definitely recommend it.

Absolutely wonderful. Tons of drying space with such a compact object. It takes up very little storage space and is very sturdy. Will save me lots of money as I wont have to use the tumble drier. My outdoor space isn't suitable for a washing line or rotary drier but this does the job very well and the clothes can also be aired inside with it.

Yea love this guy, had similar when living abroad and now moved back to UK, had to get another...so easy to dry clothes indoors or outside, if outside and it rains, simply drag it back inside and watch all others trying to get wet washing off line ;) Stores great, very little space taken and pretty solid construction. Nice one and recommend.

You can get a lot on these but it's not as wide as our previous Minky 'wide' airer. As such you can't really get two kiddie items on the same rail. Also, rails are close together and so items can tend to touch extending drying time. Having said that, they are extremely sturdy and seem to be well made.

An expensive purchase, but absolutely worth it! Dryer holds at least 9kg of washing and is completely sturdy, plus it can be moved without collapsing! Folds away easily for storage and is remarkably compact considering it's size when open! A fantastic purchase, I would highly recommend!

I wish there was a way to make it smaller, like the legs to keep them closer but the middle goes a bit weird, it can't be ajustable like the two on top, which is unfortunate as you have to spread the legs all the way for it to be stable. and it can take up a lot of space that way.

We've had this product for about a month now. I am very happy I paid the price and didn't go for a cheaper model. It's very sturdy and fits a family load of clothes. I agree with others re finger trapping, my poor hubby trapped his but we won't be making that mistake again.
