I must admit that I am pleasantly surprised by the results and coverage of this foundation.I usually use a corrective foundation that hides everything but sometimes, when my skin is behaving itself, I like to use something a little lighter. This is perfect for those days when I am having a 'normal' face day. It provides good coverage, not too thick but not too thin either. The Rose Ivory is a perfect shade for light skin and blends in seamlessly, adding to the illusion that my face just looks this way. It is light on your skin and apparently helps to keep it hydrated for up to 24 hours, and it certainly feel silky enough to believe this is true. It has a slight floral aroma that is only just detectable on my sponges and is very nice.

After choosing the correct colour for your skin tone, this is a lovely light foundation which gives sufficient coverage for short term use, light daytime use or as a light base to apply blusher, bronzer/powder etc.The foundation comes in a flattened plastic tube and is easy to gently squeeze out of a slim nozzle without waste. The tube says 'brightening effect' and 'fresh & even complexion' and it really does give a brighter fresher looking face and evens out skin tones. I have one or two light freckles all year round and these mostly disappeared, darker flecks weren't covered but I'd never expect a foundation to cover without trace specks as dark as the blackest of skins.

With the remains of a summer tan fading, I thought I would try this City Radiance Beige foundation. It proved slightly too dark to blend in as it was but I mixed it with a dab of blurring cream and this worked surprisingly well.This isn't a foundation for heavily blemished skin (which I've managed to avoid) but it is nicely light reflective, which is generally flattering. At a distance it gives you a healthier glow and looks natural. The feel on the skin is of being lightweight, it went on OK over a serum, eye cream and lightweight moisturiser. Some products with a SPF can irritate my eyes, but I experienced no such irritation.I will probably put this one aside for next summer,

This is by far one of the best foundations I've chosen as a free product to review via Amazon Vine. And it is also one that I will very much look at purchasing again. When I first applied it it was very yellow and I began to wonder if vanilla was going to the right shade for me. Applying with my fingertips meant I was able to smooth over my crow's feet. At 43 I think it's fine to describe my skin as mature and this felt smooth over the top. I'd not put any tinted moisturiser on as I would normally do so it was applied a few hours after moisturiser (E45) as I realised I looked awful (not feeling well). It applied and blended well and left no residue on the top whereby I felt I needed powder.

This foundation gives light to medium coverage; it has a lovely fresh fragrance and feels beautifully smooth when applied. It has a SPF of 30 and perhaps that makes it very suitable for sunny weather.As well as sun protection the foundation has something called an anti-pollution screen; further reading suggests that polluted air (in cities for example) can weaken the skin’s natural barriers. Apparently this screen became very popular in Asia, then North America and now here. Dificult to decide if it works but perhaps it does?Anyway; once applied the results are very pleasing; the vanilla colour is good for fairer skin and coverage is good but it did need to be reapplied during the day.

This foundation is a real hidden gem. I was looking for a Charlotte Tilbury dupe as wearing masks made the product rub off and felt a bit pointless putting in the effort. Someone mentioned it on Instagram so I tried it out - it's definitely a perfect dupe! The colour matches mine (I'm around a 3N and got light beige).There's a slight fragrance - but doesn't last long. Mentioning for those sensitive to that.For me it lasts all day without a primer and a little goes a long way. It's medium coverage but buildable to full in my opinion. Doesn't crease in my wrinkles all day either. Feels light on my skin and on some days to make it even lighter I mix in with moisturiser to give my skin a tiny

This is a perfect foundation for someone who wants their skin to look healthy and glowing.It gives a light to medium coverage which can be built upon to cover up any imperfections.It looks beautiful on the skin, making it look naturally luminous. It's not so glowy that it makes you look oily. It just makes your skin look very bright and the light reflects off it nicely.It lasted on me all day and looked great for the whole time I was wearing it.It's a great foundation for anyone with dry skin because it will give the look of plumed and mositurised skin.People with oily skin could also wear it because it's not too shiny.A great value foundation which is great quality.

A lovely light foumdation that enhances the complexion hiding minor blemishes. I prefer a paler shade for normal Englsh weather and one of the more medium shades for summer, which I am fortunate enough to have received.A nice everyday foundation, with the reassurance of SPF 30, which is ideal as part of the daily ritual. It has a very light, pleasant scent, which you can't detect once its on.It isn't greasy at all, and covers smoothly. I used golden sun in the summer, but as we're in autumn I'm using golden beige. To be fair there's not much difference in the colour, but I think golden beige suits my tones slightly better.Really nice and fits comfortably into my make up bag.

My tip for this is that if in general your skin is good, mix with their baby skin cool rose primer. This can turn it into a bb cream or tinted moisturiser. I use half and half mixed on my hand. This gives me a glowing skin and does not settle in lines. For evening I use the foundation neat and set with rimmel stay mat. I use Tarte Shape tape to conceal any imperfections (a tiny amount)). I also use a setting spray to avoid cake face. This saves me loads of money as I used to be a high end girl. When Laura Mercier d/c my foundation I tried this and it is brillant although if I have the cash I still like Clarins powder.

This is a very light foundation which does not feel thick and claggy on your skin. I found that it absorbed nicely and left my skin looking natural but more illuminated and it gave a nice even tone.I like the tube that it comes in, it is quite flat in shape so does not bulk out my handbag.I chose the Beige shade and my skin is light to medium,with a few freckles and wrinkles.The cream did not sink into my wrinkles and accentuate them it faded them out so they looked fewer and along with the light coverage I am very pleased with this foundation.

A nice lightweight foundation that protects skin with an SPF: I found the colour a little dense so mixed it with a blob of serum to tone it down and turn it into more of a BB cream/tinted moisturiser. If you're looking for something to conceal blemishes then this might be too light in coverage, but if you prefer something more natural looking that doesn't look overly made-up then this would be a good choice.It adds a gentle glow to skin, nice for winter, and smooths on easily without caking. Good quality at this price.

This is a lovely light foundation, more like a BB cream which suits me as I don't like anything too heavy or cakey on my face. The coverage is very light so if you have blemishes or unevenly toned areas that you need to cover, this maight be too light for you.It spreads extremely easily and feels very hydrating and the faint sheen it produces is more of a glow and thankfully not a shine!Contains SPF which is a bonus, not sure about the claims of repelling air pollutants but a great foundation nonetheless

This gives a lovely light coverage and is a good thickness for applying. It lasts all day without that caked on appearance you can get from some foundations. I like the fact it has SPF protection and it has a slight sheen meaning it's quite brightening.The packaging is fine aesthetically - I'd like to see a different way of dispensing it ideally as I found I inadvertently wasted a fair bit when it was full; it's literally just a hole in a tube.Fairly priced item from a name I trust - overall I like it.

It's light coverage but I am pleasantly surprised that, even though it is lightweight, how well it covers a light breakage of veins. It evens the complexion very effectively. I received colour number 1: Ivory rose. Although it has the word Rose in the title this isn't pinkie. It's beige. A pale beige colour - not too whitish. And no orange. It's ideal for a peaches and cream complexion. It's pleasantly scentred and goes on smoothly. Once it's on, it's non greasy. I like it. (Aunty Barbar)

This foundation comes in a pretty pale pink tube. I tried colour number 1, Ivory Rose, which is a very light beige. Initially I thought it would be too pale for my skin but it turned out to be perfect. The tiniest amount provides good coverage, and it blends very easily into your skin. Best of all, it gives your face a natural fresh look which lasts all day. I'm not sure about the anti-pollution screen claim, but the SPF 30 is worth having. All in all, a good foundation at a good price.
