I love this washer. The door opens good and wide and the soap drawer on this model pulls out to 15 cm which gives you masses of room to put powder and softener in if it's under a work surface. (I was struggling with my old Hoover to get anything in the soap drawer without spilling it everywhere). Washing is really good and gets the stains out. The drum is turning all the time with very few pauses in between so my clothes in that huge drum are getting a good bashing. The woollen programme in contrast is very gentle though. An added bonus is that the clean water comes in at the front so it rinses the bottom of the door seal every time - no slimy grey residue left so far after 4 weeks.

Like many of the other reviews, we’d have to agree that it’s very quiet during the spin cycle. This one replaced another Bosch washing machine which wasn’t quiet at all but had given us good service for over 12 years with no call outs by the repair man. Taking the old one out and putting the new one in gives you a chance to directly compare the quality. I couldn’t help feel some doubts arising about the new one as it was installed. Yes it’s well finished - looks good - but others will understand me when I say a hinge is a hinge but will it still swing as smoothly as our old one did after 12 years of family service. The panels are thinner too, the switches don’t feel as solid and the discharge pipe is now really flimsy.

I have always bought Bosch washing machines and found them to work well and be reliable; the previous Bosch (6KG load capacity) lasted 14 years! To be honest, the build quality of this one does not feel as solid as my old one - the dispenser draw for example feels more flimsy, but time will tell. First impressions: it's quiet (important if you have it in your living space), it looks smart, and it washes well. What I don't like as much: a standard cotton was takes 2.5 hours (old Bosch used to take 1.5 hours) and an Eco wash pushes this to 4.5 hours, but set that to run overnight and you don't notice. But that brings me to the next point,

Had to get this in a hurry as the old machine was failing and lockdown was in full swing, so I'm very grateful to have been able to get this or no clean clothes. Easy to set up. Easy to use. It replaced a Bosch, but the initial washes have been producing much, much improved results. The clothes seem cleaner and, most importantly, they have been drier so not so long in the tumble drier. My only regret is the big price drop since I bought it - so that may be good for you in terms of extra value!

This is a very reliable and quite washing machine. The drum is of a good size and the controls are easy to use. My sister also has an identical model machine for one year now and still going strong.Bosch machines in general are very reliable.If I was to make any form of criticism, it would be that Bosch Company has made the soap box flimsy on the new machines. So you have to be careful when using it, otherwise it will break quite easily.John Brown

Bought this machine for my sister in July so my review is what she been saying. So far she loves this machine says it's quiet and when on spin cycle washing comes out quite dry. On a delivery note a big shout out to the guys that delivered it sister Says you were good lads in the summer heat. A bit more expensive than an average machine but it's Bosch and it's German so high quality. Go on buy it you won't regret it.

Excellent washing machine,,,quiet and easy to use,,1400 spin good and 30 minute quick wash brings even white items out clean if you use a couple of spoons of vanish powder with your washing liquid,,,got my machine from Hughes direct. Supposed to be graded but only a small mark right at the bottom of casing ,,£200 cheaper,,a real bargain ,,,,,,guaranteed too,,,

Fabulous machine very quiet.Only problem was the machine had to fit between units and it doesn’t have wheels. Solution was to put felt stickers on the feet to slide it into place. And a rope around the back so it can be pulled out again when it might need attention in the future.But from being dispatched it took 7 days to arrive.

I can honestly say this is the best washing machine I've ever owned.No way of knowing if its claims of water use is lower. Always had to use extra rinse on my old machine but this one is perfect on a standard rince. I'd buy this make/type again.Oh and it's so easy to use.

Excellent product. Shame about the deliverers (2 men) who would not take it up to my flat on first floor so had to leave it in my garage around 30 metres away. I am a 71 year old widow and had to pay others to take it up to my flat!

Very quiet and washes well, but some of the wash cycles are significantly longer than my old Bosch machine. One other minor negative point is that the supplied cold water hose is quite short (1.5m). We had to buy a longer hose.

I bought this washing machine 5 months ago to replace a Bosch I had for 11 years which had been fantastic.I am very pleased with it and would totally recommend it.It is quiet and washes clothes beautifully.

Much quieter than my last Bosch w/m. Instant door opening after cycle finishes. Easy to understand without reading the instructions. Love it!!Thanks Bosch for making another good product.

Very quiet and efficient machine - only had it a coupe of month but already very happy with it. Someone did ask for an upload of the extra sheet, so I have added it here in the photos...
