Having young children who have been into Bob from year dot I ordered this game with reasonable expectations of some good fun. I must admit I was very surprised at how good the games was for a TV cash-in!The background story is that Bob and team have to build some structures to celebrate their aniversary, hence the name. The game consists of a dozen building-themed mini games using all the usual characters from the story. The games are actually very good fun even I enjoyed playing them, simply things like digging building foundations with Scoop, laying in the concrete foundations using the Dizzy. The cleve touches are the need to use the Wii remote in various actions, it's quite active. For example using Dizzy to mix cement you active to pretend the Wii remote is a handle and turn it in circles. You have to drive the quad bike using the Wii remote as a set of handle bars. The only minor disappoints I must say are the pre-game instructions, which seem to be read by someone on Mogadon! The female narrator seems so uninterested in reading the instructions, which by the way are read in such an overly complicated manner even I had to skip them and simply work them out playing the game myself. Kids have no patience and will instantly skip the instructions and then may get frustrated if they cannot work out what to do in the first 0.5 secs of the game. Would it really have hurt to find a Neil Morrisey sound alike to read them in a more cheerful manner?I don't think this game will have any really long lasting appeal to anyone over the age of 5 or 6, once you have played it a couple of times, it's a little repetitive, but it's still not a bad cash-in, better than some of the million dollar turkey cash-in's, yes Terminator Salvation, I'm looking in your direction. It lacks the professional polish of things like the Dora games, but that seems to plague all UK TV kid's show game tie-ins.Like I titled this review, great game but could have been way better with some tweaks, like replacing Miss Mogadon with someone more interested in reading the instructions!

Having read the two one star reviews I was expecting much from the game and I assumed it was a game that my five year old and myself couldn't play.I need not have been worried, the game is great, my little boy can play it fine, there are bits where I help but that's the same on the Mario games etc he owns.I can't understand who or why the two one stars couldn't get passed level one, It's very easy.It is not a pre-school level game but there are not many games that are.You get to play all the characters, from Scoop, Lofty, dizzy etc, some levels are very good, my boy loves the scrambler level, I like the lofty level as there are a few puzzles.Graphic are excellent. There is also a multiplayer level which is great fun,my little boy and his cousin are playing it as I write this review and they are laughing which is what I love to see and hear from a Wii game.Don't understand the one star reviews, I give five stars for value and fun, there are always bits in a game that you get a bit stuck on, that`s what makes you keep going back.It is excellent value and a great game.

This is a very good game. There are lots of things to do on it. It can be played solo or in multiplayer mode. The controls are difficult to get used to, but the children have finally cracked it! Some of the sections, eg hammering nails, requires more elaborate movements to get the game to recognise what you are trying to do. I have not yet mastered the difficult hammering section despite the children (aged 3 and 4) having no trouble at all after a few days of playing.Overall, I would recommend this game because despite the earlier frustrations, it has become a family favourite here!
