At the time of writing these are priced at £17.99. The game currently costs £9.99 a month if you go with blizzard's monthly subscription option. You can reduce this somewhat by subscribing to more months in one go but if, like me, you may cancel at any time - you probably won't want to commit for anything more than a month or two at a time. That's where these cards come in, and you get to save a little money too. £17.99 for 60 days will save you £2 over 2 months. Doesn't seem like a lot, but this soon adds up and there is also the added benefit of not having to give over ANY debit/credit card details. If you're younger player, this might be a real plus for you. For those that aren't sure how these work, these cards arrive with a scratchable panel that reveals a long code. You simply log into battlenet and then enter the code - viola! Your 60 days playable time is awarded to your account instantly. They're a one-use code obviously but are often a cheaper and easier way to get playing WoW. I've picked up one of these for as low as £15.99 before on Amazon. That's starting to become a substantial saving then. I have to award this product 5 stars for the ease of use and value for money (based on the pricing at the time of writing).See you in Azeroth...maybe :)

First off, World of Warcraft is a great game, so many things to do, and (in my opinion), its great educationally too. It greatly expanded my vocabulary among other things. As for the 60-day game card, well I think this is the best way to pay for your play. First off, at £7.99/month (currently amazon prize) it is cheaper than 1 month (£8.99/month) or 3 month subscription (£8.39/month), and so (if you have more than a month to play it of course!) then you are best off buying this. A 6-month subscription is cheaper slightly (£7.69/month), but I would say that the flexibility to stop playing (something could come up with work etc)is better with the 60-day - and helps you see how much you've been playing (i keep a stack of the game card boxes - it soon mounts up!)Further, 60 days is great for a summer holiday of playing if you are in college! Finally, the game-card is extremely easy to use. You receive the card (comes very quickly from amazon in my experience) and then simply scratch off to reveal the code. Enter this code on Battle.net and instantly you are credited with the 60 days.

<World of Warcraft 60 Day Pre-paid Game Time Card>Great if you don’t mind waiting a day or so for the item to arrive but this method of subscription payment is outdated, it’s alot easier and safer to track and pay via the Battle.net account service.I used to buy and gift these to friends monthly when it was on an amazon offer, but now with safer abilities to pay via Battle.net account I normally subscribe monthly and gift via that service, much safer and allows me instantly jump into the game and play without a day or so wait.Pros:Great for GiftingCan sometimes be cheaper on Amazon (between £15-£18)Cons:None really any cons as the item does exactly what it says on the box.I’ve never experiencedany trouble with this item when ordered in the past however this method of payment can generally be more time consuming to get playing and also is generally more expensive on Amazon (never pay greater than £20 for this).

My husband is a fan of the World of Warcraft game and has been playing it since 2005. One of the first times that I remember purchasing him a World of Warcraft 60 Day Prepaid Time gift card was back in December 2006 as a Christmas present. I recently purchased another World of Warcraft 60 Day Prepaid Time Card for my husband. He is satisfied with the card. Needless to say, he also enjoys the game so much that there have been attempts to convert me to the World of Warcraft game. I completely understand why he would do so because it does look like an interesting game. However, my spouse understands that it is not my cup of tea because of the excessive violence, but I am completely supportive of him playing World of Warcraft. The World of Warcraft 60 Day Prepaid Time Card by Blizzard Entertainment is a great gift for loved ones who are fans of World of Warcraft and/or those who enjoy the game themselves.

Your basic 60 day pre-paid game card needed in order to play the game. Always comes in superb condition, and, if it does not in some minor cases, you pay for a number code that needs to be scratched off of a card so having a faulty product is out of the question - unless the code itself doesn't work but they are all tracked by computer and rendered available to use once the code itself has been created. YOU CANNOT PLAY THE GAME WITHOUT THIS GAME CARD! The rear of the card explains how to add the time to your World of Warcraft account if you do not currently know how to, for example, if it your first time playing, but the instructions are clear and the website itself will guide you along the way.

Although it says your saving 14% and it would make it a cheaper alternative to paying monthly on some tariffs with the added P&P your saving isnt much compared with buying it at a retail store, so dont be fooled with the surface saving!!!!!I personally think that this is one of the best ways to pay, it enables you to manage how much money you spend easier than as apossed to having a direct debit from your bank account, paying only what you can afford. this especially applies to the younger gamers out there who want to start and not get tied into a contract, more like there parents having to pay.

It's a 60 Day Pre-paid Game Card for World of Warcraft. For those that have never used one before, you'll receive a DVD-box with a credit-card sized game time card contained in it. You scratch off the grey film on the card and there is a code that you enter into battle.net that adds 60 days to your WoW account. It works out cheaper for me to buy these than to subscribe online with my card by around 5-6 euro. My only complaint (which isn't really Amazon's fault), is that it's such a waste of resources to ship out a box and card to me, when I simply want the code that is printed on the card.

This is one of the only ways you don't have to pay extra for shorter subscriptions as Blizzard removed the monthly and bimonthly options sometime ago. Not only that depending when you buy it can actually work out cheaper the the lowest price 6 month subscription. These cards are a must for the casual player or parents that don't want their kids to be able to spend money in Blizzards online shop, it's linked to payment options which allows children access to your bank account that they shouldn't have.

Ok, so this is the cheapest way to get your game time that I know about. The game time comes via a credit card sized card with a scratch off panel on the back. This in turn is housed in a DVD case. surely this is way over the top?Games like Eve for instance have codes that can be emailed and while not as secure, careful checking by companies selling this has overcome most of the problems.Still despite the packaging, it works and is the cheapest, it's a no brainer

I would never pay for a subscription to a on-line game with a credit card. Instead Blizzard have released a pre-paid game card that activates 60 days of play upon use. Thus no need to worry about recurring fees. Playtime is maximised for the months you are available to play the game most. For those without credit/debit cards, the prepaid option is the easiest and most affordable way to play world of warcraft. Easy to save up for and activate.

No excuses here, gives you 60 days of action to the BEST online game ever.No need to enter credit card details - no worries of fraud or identity theft - just a code...One small point. Why the lavish packaging Blizzard ?The code is on a credit card sized card and in my view, the packaging could be a lot smaller and costing less to produce and help lower the overall price of the card in general ?That aside, get this one...

Andy - Prepaid Game Card means you get a prepaid game card to play the game.. It is clearly stated, no fault of Amazon's or Blizzard for not stating this information!Anyways - This product is best if you do not want a re-occuring charge on your credit/debit card or if you dont play World of Warcraft constantly. It is no dearer buying a subscription this way so if you are not a constant player, i highly recommend this product.

I love world of warcraft but will never use amazon again for the gamecard as I opened the jiffybag the gamecard pack came in and the cellaphane was open on the long edge and when I opened package there was no gamecard enclosed, have applied for a replacement but as my existing gamecard expired tonight I will be unable to play until the replacement arrives, nice one amazon for using a useless conpany in jersey

Works out cheaper than paying for the subscription on my debit card, it's also safer as I don't have to keep my card details tied to my account. This also works great as a present as it comes in a DVD case, when opened it's inside on a small credit card sized paper with foil to scratch off and reveal the code.Always use this method when renewing subscription as it's easy and saves me a little bit of money.

12.6.2006

This pre-payed card gives you the equivalent of two months subscription. This card gives you two months of play as if you'd payed with a credit/debit card, and costs nothing more. You get all the access of a monthly subscribtion, without the hassle of rooting through your bill. This is a great gift that allows my and my brothers to adventure freely through the lands of Azeroth. Buy it! You won't regret it!
