I recently bought this game on the back of a few good reviews. Overall Bladestrom is an enjoyable game that is highly addictive as the time does fly by when your playing it.In a nut shell you are a mercenary that can pick and choose which side of the battle you are on between the French and English. The game itself does take quite a while to get used to and involves using the manual along the way to figure out what you are doing. This is because you can control squads of people be it archers or swordsmen and you need to know what opposition they are good against (for example archers close up are not good against swordsmen!).

I Heard alot of bad reviews for this game, yet when it came out on Demo its all i ever played just two contracts and i was hooked.style of play is amazing, multiple weapons for one style like the sword, many types from all over the world.The difficulty has got too be highlighted here, in many other games you choose the hardest level of playing and it isnt much of a challenge yet with the difficulty star rating is accurate.When choosing a contract to complete you have multiple choices from hard to easy, or from good money too pocket change but every battle is a new experiance for you.The other merc's in the game make it so more fun, i personally go out of my way too find the hardest mercs there are and too defeat them just to say HA i beat the best,

if you like total war games such as rome and medievil 2 you will love this.... its more ur the commander and you can train and change units however you like... Its very action packed and battlefield action!. Fantastic game on ps3 1 of a kind. you can create a player, and upgrade him using the money you make from doing quests for the factions, english and french. You can also buy new unit and upgrade them... there are specials that can swing the battle in ur favour such as lowing the defence of the enemy, increasing the attack of ur army and even making the enemy turn on themselfs. This game is superb... graphics are really nice aswell, controls are nice and easy and can get to grips quickly..

I decided against the odds to download the demo off of PSN, even though I was severely discouraged by a friend who said that this game was totally rubbish and boring. I played it and enjoyed it very much. Ok the beginning is cheesey and the voice acting dodgy, but the gameplay is very fun. The battles are large, slightly tactical and intense. It is still like Dynasty Warriors but with more team-based elements instead of1 Man Army style gameplay. Very good game in my opinion.

This is a very Good game which lots of people would be fooled into thinking it is like Dyansty Warriors, but it isn't. Yes some of the fighting is like Dyansty Warriors but the game involves a lot more skill than just running in and killing lots of people. The game goes into a lot more depth than any Dyansty Warriors game and in total is a lot more interesting game. Don't be fooled by the makers and look of the game, this is a good game.

I've been a fan of Koei games for a while, and I loved the Kessen series of games on the PS2, so when I saw this I had to get it. It's like a cross between Kessen and Dynasty Warriors, a little mor elike Dynasty than Kessen though. It's good fun though, and allows for character and squad development, which is what makes it the most fun for me! A good game, defo worth having a go at.

this game is utterly addictive, espesially if you just love to have your own little unit of 30 men and wipe out an entire army (the french got their asses kicked by me!!!). the only down fall would be that it is really repeatative of choosing which contract you want to take and fight it but other than that if you love war games and massive brawling then it should be bought.

I got this game a while ago, and subsequently bought other games , but when I just wanted to sit down and play a game that was fun, not overtaxing and sometimes so heavily geared in your favour you simply can't lose. I have no idea the numbers of hours I played this, but in the end I sold it to stop me playing it, I know I will end up buying it again.

This game, takes forever to complete, which is good if you don't get bored of it easily, which I didn't. If they included more customization choices and more available weapons and armor to use the game would be 5 stars. Nonetheless if it does not contain those qualities, it is still a good game and can rival the likes of Kenchi.

I read a some bad reviews on here but was not put off. I am very glad I bought this game, it is a lot of fun. If your'e into big epic battles then buy this game! Defiantly worth getting, especially for such a cheap price.

Very fun Koei game, especially if you like the koei style games. Was a bit disappointed that it didn't have a two player mode so I could play it with my other half like dynasty warriors.

Out of all the medieval war games this has to be the best one. Its also one of the best game i've ever played (appart from Warhawk).
