This little headlamp is fantastic. It is small, light and brighter than I expected. I actually dim it some during my family's night walks. I own several black diamond headlamps, they are the best I've used. While my BD storm headlight is brighter, I don't think it makes a lot of difference in the real world. They are both so bright they put all my other petzel and off brand lights to shame. This will be my go to light for all but the most demanding hikes, and will be in my canyoneering bag every trip.

This sucker is bright! Did not know 250 lumens was this bright. Hands down the best headlamp for the price. There’s dimming in all three lights, and you don’t have to cycle through the white light to get to the red light everytime you turn it on. A true must have for your average adventure whether it be hiking, jogging, or emergency situations.

I purchased this headlamp to replace an older headlamp that was used frequently, but with poor battery life. This light was MUCH brighter, lighter weight, and provided a substantially better battery life performance. Since buying mine, I have bought two more for my family members.
