About a couple of months before receiving this to test I purchased Vax ECR2V1P Dual Power Pet Advance Carpet Cleaner which gave me a chance to compare between the two. The tl;dr version: this is much superior to the Vax, which I am now going to give away and keep this Bissell machine instead.Assembly requires attaching the handle and carrying bracket and inserting a screw - I found the instructions for this slightly confusing but not a major issue. The product I had contained no actual operating manual and I had to contact Bissell customer service (it was not on their website among the list of manuals) - they sent me a black and white printed version as a stack of A4 sheets - not sure why they couldn't find an actual manual, but no great matter.Included are a hose and three attachments for general stubborn stains, an upholstery tool and a stair tool with a triangular head which you can rotate to clean stair edges or the corners or the general flat areas. There is a tool for getting hair out of the nozzle, a carry bag to put all of these in, and three sample size bottles (two cleaning solutions plus an additive for extra cleaning power) which I have found sufficient to do two deep cleans of all fairly sizeable living room hallway and bedroom and still have a bit left over. You can fill the tank with hot water from the tap (the Vax instructions require ‘warm’ water) and the machine keeps it heated while you are cleaning – this in itself no doubt contributes significantly to this Bissell having superior cleaning power to the Vax. The machine has two settings for deep and ordinary clean. I went straight into a deep clean to see how it would perform relative to the Vax which I had previously used on the carpets around three or four weeks beforehand. Given that using the Vax was the first time the carpets had been cleaned for a few years it was amazing how much dirt this lifted which must have been left behind by the Vax. It should be noted that it also brought up a significant amount of carpet fibres in the process too, so maybe you don’t want to be using the deep cleaning setting too often, but having said that two the carpets are quite old now – they weren’t exactly new when we bought the house 11 years ago and the other we installed almost immediately after moving in.There is a useful feature called “CleanShot” where you press a button with your foot and it shoots out some of the cleaning solution from an aperture on the front right hand side of the nozzle for extra cleaning power on stains. This takes a bit of practice to get the aim and distance right. The upholstery tool is extremely impressive. I used this on some old dining chairs which are only ever used by one of my cats as a hiding place under a table and were covered in hair as was astonished by how easily it removed the hair and dirt, the hair being trapped in the receptacle behind and underneath the cleaning head. The manual tool is better than the Vax equivalent and the triangular stair tool (for which there is no equivalent in the Vax) is a help in cleaning stairs but they’re never going to work quite as well as the rotating brush bar does on other areas. It would be nice to have a hose tool with a rotating brush bar like with some vacuum cleaners, but perhaps this is a limitation of the design (I don’t know if higher end models of carpet cleaners have such a feature).A few minor annoyances: When using the hose attachment the brush bar continues to spin and so if resting on a carpet could cause extra wear on that spot. The on-off button is located low down and you have to keep bending over to turn on and off. I would have liked the cable to be a little longer. Taking the dirty water tank apart to give it a proper clean inside (you pour the dirty water out via a hole from which you remove the rubber cap, but you still need to take the insides out to clean out all the hair and fibres) was a real pain as the insert was completely stuck and took me ages to remove. Fitting the cleaning nozzle back into place properly can be a bit of a pain – the first time I was using it I cleaned out the nozzle after the first room because of the carpet fibres which had accumulated and then found in the second room that the nozzle kept on detaching as I was using it as I seemed to be unable to attach it back properly, though I did eventually manage to work out how to do it correctly.Overall this is a very good machine which I am pleased with, and as mentioned before, much superior to the Vax. Many years ago I had an old style Vax carpet cleaner which was such a pain to fit all the parts and thin plastic tube to deliver the solution together and such a pain to use that I rarely used it. Technology has moved on, and these days using a carpet cleaner is as easy as using your regular vacuum cleaner – this is something I can bring out on a regular basis, especially now that winter is approaching and the cats will decorate the cream carpets with their muddy paws, and clean and freshen the carpets without much fuss.

Bissell, to me, are a long-standing premium brand that make superb products. I have tried their spot cleaners which have bene fantastic and this is no exception.I previously had a vax and whilst ok at what it did, I found build quality and results average. Most recently I had a Rug Doctor in a similar price bracket. The Proheat 2X I have found to be better for a few reasons that I will go into during my review. On arrival it comes in a singular box and requires some self-assembly. This is straightforward and you are up and running in no time. So, time to start getting ready. First things first, you get a small almost sample size bottle of cleaning solution.Given the cost of the unit this is somewhat miserly I feel so if you intend to do a lot with it order some solution with the cleaner. Included with the unit is a stain tool, stair tool and upholstery tool with the necessary hose and a cleaning tool.I filled the cleaner with warm to hot water which I find is the best way to clean. This cleaner features proheat so essentially a small heating capacity to maintain that heat throughout the clean. Once the solution was added I was off. It is reasonably noisy just like most cleaners, but my immediate thoughts were how light and manoeuvrable it is compared to my Rug Doctor. Much easier to manoeuvre and the vacuum design and low profile allow it some reach under sofas etcAs you move around you might find a stain etc that require a bit extra. They call it CleanShot but essentially a small jet of water that comes out the front that you can aim onto the stain. Very helpful but I would recommend treating stains with a Bissell stain treater ahead of the clean if its severe. The clean is quite frankly superb. The brush roll and heated cleaning solution really agitate the carpet and lift stains and leave the pile looking good as new. The collection tank will need regular emptying which is very easy and it is astounding how much it picks up despite how clean you think your carpet is.The tools. Often overlooked as a bolt on tis clear some thought has gone into these. I particularly like the 2 in 1 pet upholstery tool. It has its own little pot for debris which is great and left our cream fabric sofa looking, feeling and smelling good as new.The stairs tool is most handy and the tough stain tool is a stiffer brush affair for some spraying and scrubbing. It is important to clean the machine after use. My Rug Doctor was not that easy but this by contrast is a doddle. There’s a tool for cleaning the tools and the brush cover comes right off so you can rinse and debris out etc.I can’t say enough good things about this. A well thought out cleaner that delivers on all its promises.

It is a big brute of a thing, but compared to other top of the range machines like the rug doctor it is much lighter and more manoeuvrable. Out of the box you have to attach the long handle (making sure the water tank is taken off first) and then the lower handle, which is fitted around the bottom of the tank section and secured by a screw. It took a few times for me to get the screw matched up with the hole as it's an awkward fitting, but got there in the end. I didn't actually get the promised anti-bac tester bottle, but got the concentrate along with accessories including measuring cup, attachable hose, two cleaning tools and a dual cleaning tool (to clean the machine after use)– held in a draw string netted bag.The cleaner is easy to get going, filling up the necessary water, with a small amount of fluid and it's ready. I tested it on the standard clean mode, not the deep clean mode and got fantastic results. It's actually quite disconcerting seeing the filthy brown water that gets sucked back up, and my carpet to my eyes looked as clean as could be before! Two wet passes and a dry one across the whole room left the carpet looking plumper and with a very fresh smell – thanks to the concentrated Bissell cleaning fluid.I then tried the hose and tool. At first I thought something was wrong as when pressing the water/fluid release button nothing came through. I took the handle apart, noticed nothing wrong, put it back together and eventually it worked. The water is sprayed out in a fine jet, the same length as the tool and the stiff brush combined with the plastic edge really got into the carpet. Even while it was still wet I saw a huge difference in the plumpness of the pile, which, prior to using the Bissell, I thought was too far gone to be brought back. I was so glad to be wrong – it does look like new.The choice of attachments here are great too, with the 3-in-1 tool a life saver especially. The standard brush is excellent for your standard usage and having a puppy and the random messes that accompany, I really appreciate the 2-in-1 upholstery tool, which can be used wet or dry.The act of cleaning the Bissell isn't as fiddly as in previous models, as you can lift off the see-through plastic housing over the brush completely now. After emptying the waste tank you unscrew the stopper in the tank and take out the elements inside and clean. The cleaning too is well designed.Overall I couldn't be more impressed. It is a really fantastic machine. What's also good is the cleaning fluid will last a good while and if you run out, just go without, as, like I said, it still gave a magical clean without it.

We like many people are using lockdown to clean everywhere, we decided to buy rather than rent and so glad we did. Reviews on this are impressive and can verify that it does a great job of cleaning carpets. The instructions are all pictorial so I had to watch a few YouTube clips before I tackled the first carpet and it is so easy. The Bissell carpet cleaner comes with three different sample bottles (236ml) of carpet cleaner, Wash & Protect with Scotchguard, Wash & Refresh with Fabreze and Oxygen Boost for tough stains. We also purchased the 1.5l size of Wash & Remove Total with Fabreze and Scotchguard to come with the carpet cleaner. We only used two cap-fulls to do the stairs and landing carpetwhich equals two tanks of cleaner and the dirt that came out of what we thought was a fairly clean cream carpet was.... er scary but rewarding. One good thing about this cleaner is waste heat from the motor is used to help keep the cleaning solution tank warm so a nice touch. The suction is incredible, and the carpet is slightly damp after but felt touch dry after a couple of hours and the fresh fabreze smell is very pleasant. It certainly looks like we have a new carpet as it has also lifted the pile. The hardest bit is getting used to going slow and steady, but the results are worth it.This cleaner comes with the hose attachment and a 'crevis tool' and upholstery brush I used on the stairs but in hindsight wish I had purchased the additional tool from Amazon which would make the task easier. We have the lounge and dining room carpet to tackle next but have no hesitation in recommending this especially as it has a six-year warranty.Cleaning it after use is not too bad, rinse both the clean and dirty tanks and clean the brushes to remove fluff and the suction unit also needs rinsing.Update... 3rd of JuneNow finished the lounge carpet - amazing difference and we knew two areas needed to be cleaned by the doors, scary when you move furniture and see just how bad it is.In just one pass it made a difference, I did a couple to get all the dirt out and WOW.... Four and a half tanks of cleaner later and it looks like new. Totally transformed and the carpet smells fresh and feels so much better under foot.

I decided to try the Bissell carpet cleaner this time round having bought other brands on a few occasions in the past - I watched a few reviews on you tube and the cleaner did receive some good write ups and recommendations so I decided to buy one as my old one has had a lot of use and seen better days.Very easy to assemble - takes only minutes, even easier to start using, just fill the clean water tank and your off!Straight away you could see the dirty water getting sucked out of the carpet - the dirty water tank was a horrid brown colour when it was full - but with each pass you really could see a massive difference in the carpet. We have a hearth rug, which when you lift it up has a rectangle of pristine carpet beneath it,and despite several shampoos with other cleaners - some costing way more than the Bissell you could always see a very distinct difference between the bit under the rug and the rest of the carpet, the carpet never seemed to look any different however this time, after only a couple of passes with the Bissell the carpet looked amazingly clean - obviously the area under the rug is always going to look brand new, but as a comparison the colour of the carpet was much brighter and I can only assume the double brushes do indeed do a very good deep clean and get a lot more dirt out of the carpet than any cleaner we have had before. After doing the whole carpet, it now looks ten times better than any previous shampoo we've done - I'm not going to say its like new as it does get a lot of through traffic - including our Dog Rosie who likes nothing better than to stretch out on her back and rub herself on the carpet, no wonder it always looks distinctly greasy and dull in that particular spot, but after using the Bissell I'm delighted to say all that has disappeared and the carpet both looks and smells so much better. The only downside - if you can call it that is the cleaner is quite loud, certainly not going to please the neighbours if you like doing a midnight cleaning session. So, I hope this review will help you make an informed choice if you are pondering which carpet cleaner to buy - it certainly does what it says on the tim and I'm delighted with the results I've got so far.

Fantastic cleaner until it developed a fault, I will come to that later.I live with 11 rescue rabbits, 0ne of them was very sick before I adopted him so he often pees on the carpet, this is a side effect from his often fatal illness, the others all use their litter trays. I bought this especially because of him, there is no way I was going to confine him to a small area, he had a hard enough life in the past so deserves to live out his remaining years in luxury. Before I ordered this I purchased a Vax but that left the carpet so wet that when it did dry it smelled like a damp mouldy rag so I returned it.This cleaner was so much better initially but after several uses the wheels started to loosen causing negative camber resulting in the suction head not making contact with the carpet so it didn't suck the water out as it should. It looked like a "stanced car" (Google images of one if you don't know what I mean) I contacted Amazon who instantly offered a refund, I wanted an exchange because I like the product but they don't have any for sale at the time of writing this. I wondered if this was a known fault and that was why it was no longer stocked.I checked the Bissell website for an alternative or updated model and spotted they are selling this model, I phoned to ask if it was a known fault and I would be likely to have the same problem in the future if I bought one. I was told it was a fault with a batch but they have made changes to the wheel fitment so it shouldn't happen to future models, Bissell themselves had been out of stock for some time while this issue was sorted.I almost forgot to add how easy it is to clean the brushes and suction head after use, to me it's important to put it away clean rather than covered in filth sucked up out of the carpet, the Vax I had in the past was near impossible to clean after use.You will not regret buying this, it's fantastic apart from the fault with a certain batch, all future models have this issue fixed, it also has a 5 or 6 year warranty so the company stands by you if you get a problem. I have now ordered one direct from Bissell as Amazon don't have stock

Over the last few years I've had a few different carpet cleaners. I had an upright Vax one that lasted two years and then the motor failed. Replaced with another top of the range Vax machine that was faulty and shrank the living room carpet. Had a massive fight with Vax before they would cover the cost of a replacement carpet and vowed never to buy another of their products. Bought a carpet washer from the company that make Henry vacuums but wasn't too keen on it and most recently I've had a £600 commercial Karcher one. The Karcher one was okay but it was big, hard work to use and with it being a cylinder type and not having a rotating brush the results weren't fantastic.I had some carpets toclean and was putting it off because using a cylinder type carpet cleaner gives me a bad back due to how tall I am, so I decided to take a gamble on the Bissell Revolution Pet Pro. Well. What a machine. So easy to use and the results are utterly fantastic. It is light, easy to use, leaves the carpet as dry as any carpet cleaner can, pulls up huge amounts of dirt and most importantly the 6 year warranty gives me peace of mind that I'll get a decent amount of use from it.So far I've cleaned half of my house with it including the stairs, and all of my grandparents very large bungalow.I've probably used it for 6+ hours easily in the last two days. I'm not tired when I'm done and my back doesn't hurt. I just LOVE this machine. The Pet Pro version is probably the best to go for as the whole front of the machine unclips so you can easily clean around the brush area. A must if you have wool carpets as they create a LOT of fluff when you wash them and the machine will be pretty clogged up when you're done.Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to clean afterwards. Just love it.Yes it goes through water like you wouldn't believe and the tanks need emptying and refilling often, but this is such a small price to pay for all the other huge benefits of this machine.I really can not recommend it enough

If you have a Springer Spaniel (or any kind of active dog) and/or children or grandchildren then dirty carpets will be something familiar. This carpet cleaner does a great job at tackling the grime as well as brushing out an amazing amount of pet hairs. It's surprisingly large (not fitting in the same boiler room space as my previous model) and heavy (5kg, plus the weight of any water you have in it) so be careful carrying it up and down stairs. Certainly don't drop it on your toes - or the dog!The water tanks are adequate and easy to fill and flush. Personally I thought that they didn't have such a great build as my Vax model nor did the dirty tank clean as easily as the top doesn't clamp on and off.In the end this wasn't such a problem. I did like the ease of cleaning the head unit and everything clips off to give access to the brushes and allow all the plastic bits to be washed. If you find fluff and hair stuck inside you will find a thin flexible tool that allows even this to be adequately cleaned out.In use it is effective, especially on the deep-clean setting, and seems to suck about two-thirds of the water back out of the carpet. The 'cleanshot' on the front of the cleaner shoots out extra liquid onto stains - but is badly angled (not adjustable) and so the liquid bounces and goes further than you would like. However, my only real complaint about this machine is the power switch being located so far down on the side of the cleaner so you have to bend down to switch it on and off. Back sufferers won't appreciate this. The tools are all easy to attach to a hose which plugs into the head of the cleaner and allows cleaning of smaller areas on upholstery, curtains and stairs - although for the latter I think you need an assistant because of the weight of the machine itself.Would I recommend it? A resounding yes! Although if you want something equally effective for pet households that's lighter, smaller and cheaper, you might like to check out the similar machine from Vax.

I can’t rate this carpet cleaner highly enough. We came home from Christmas after visiting 2 sets of relatives to find that our cats had had several accidents of both types on our living room carpet while we were away. The smell was, obviously, horrible, as was the state of the carpet. So, rather than enjoying our first quiet day since the 21st, we were trying to save the carpet. But, thank goodness, the carpet cleaner came to our rescue, and we used the special pet accident cleaning solution (included) to remove all evidence of the horrors our cats had left us.The cleaner did a fantastic job, it worked like a dream, very fast, easy, and not too heavy to push either. It’s far better than the Vax All Floors model in that respect. We used hot water from tap and made the strength of the cleaning solution a bit stronger than the instructions said, used the cleaner, then left the carpet to dry most of the day, and now it’s almost dry with the heating on, and the smell is now only that of damp carpet, not the stench that we arrived home to.I particularly like that this cleaner has a double set of rollers, it covers a very big area at once, and the solution flows quickly and easily so it doesn’t take too long to cover a large floor area. The suction is excellent. I tend to do about 8 sweeps with the solution flowing, then start the suction from the first sweep to the last. That way it has around 45-60 seconds to work it’s magic in the pile before being suctioned. There is a handy stair tool in this pack, and also a pet accident spot cleaning tool which looks sturdy and well made, as does the entire set. In my case, the spot tool was too small to tackle the horrors of my lounge carpet, but its very useful when one of my cats decides to vomit a load of cat biscuits/furball combo all over the carpet, which happens quite often now they are 14 years old.Totally love this cleaner, and it saved the day today :)5 stars

I bought the Pet Pro Carpet cleaner (even though I don't have a pet) after looking at all the main models on Amazon and compaing them. Overall I'm very happy I went for this model - it's suction is far better than Ru gDoctor rentals and a lot easier to navigate.Assembly - not exactly difficult (only 4 things to do), but needs a screwdriver to screw in the holding handle at the back (if you want to carry it around, which you will from time to time) - the holding handle doubles as one side of the cord hold.Filling & emptying - Easy to fil with water and solution. Easy to empty the second tank when it gets full. When you've run out of water, the hoover starts to get noisier, which is useful. The containers for water are also fairly well made, so that you can acutally empty them fully. The dynamics inside are just well thought out.Cleaning - I had a couple of areas of ground dirt in my carpets, and really I didn't know they were that dirty overall, but it's pulled up all sorts from the carpets and now smells a bit like wet dog, so maybe the previous owners had a dog. Yeah, not ideal, but that tells me how good this machine is, as Rug Doctor never deep cleaned this well. The ground dirt is all but gone, but will probably need another clean - it was quite extreme though. I think all the other stains on my cream carpets (yeah, I know) have gone.Noise - yes, it's a bit noiser than my hoover, but I think thats because of the power of it. It's certainly not extreme or intolerable.Overall - I'm pretty happy I settled for this model, although I was a bit wary of the price tag of 250, but the quality of the clean and the ease of use make me think it's value for money and I will no longer need to lug one of those Rug Doctor's from Tesco and try to perform a 3-point turn with it - this carpet cleaner is closer to slightly heavier upright cleaner and pretty easy to manouvre.

This is just as good as professional cleaning and worth buying seen as you will pay more for your carpets to be professionally cleaned than you would for this alone. Yet of course this you only have to buy once. My carpets downstairs are extremely old and where badly stained between the previous tenants, the decorator who was constantly in and out of my home with dirty boots on and then my daughter spilling things. The only downside I can say is that it is heavy especially filled with water obviously bit kind of to be expected. I have ehlers danlos syndrome also so others may be a lot more sensitive to it especially as I have dyson cordless. The suction on this is amazing,I did carpets upstairs that are new and despite hoovering before doing so it still pulled up a lot of dust from them. Bissels cleaning products on their own are amazing with this even more so. The oxy boost especially. That will get out any stain on it’s own let alone added to the machine. The picture above is as said both extremely old and new stains. The picture was taken after only going over it just once, the second time it come out even better. The dirty water tank makes you cringe, as above I cleaned the new carpets upstairs and even the colour of the water from that was horrible despite looking clean. It’s worked on all kinds of stains and marks both known and unknown. The quick function is great and even the deep clean function doesn’t leave the carpets that wet . This is also a good buy for those with allergies and asthma, my daughter suffers from breathing issues constant airway infections and also needs inhalers, nebuliser and prednisone often but cleaning the carpets has helped a a lot with her symptoms. I will add more photos after the next time I use it as I forgot to take the photos of the other carpets. It actually becomes extremely addictive to do once you start cleaning.

This is an excellent carpet cleaner. When I ordered it I was unsure between it and the Vax Rapid Power Plus as both had good reviews on the internet. In the end I ordered the Bissell because Amazon were offering it on 5 equal monthly payments, and I am glad I did. The machine is easy to assemble and set up, although the instructions that come with it are useless and so I resorted to the internet to work out what all the switches do (and to find the on/off button which is in a non-intuitive location on the side of the machine). A lot of reviews say the machine is too noisy, but I do not agree and it is certainly quieter than a rental machine from Rug Doctor.Once I worked out how to use the machine I was cleaning carpets in a jiffy. I set it to deep clean and remembering to pull the trigger to release detergent between the rollers when pushing forward and releasing the trigger when pulling backward I had the living room caret cleaned in under ten minutes. It used a whole bottle of the sample solutions provided with the machine and the dirty water was literally disgusting - meaning it cleaned the carpet excellently. Even dried in orange juice stains came out effortlessly. Another ten minutes and the dining room was clean too, followed by the stairs. The stair nozzle requires some effort to use as it is not motorised and the hose is not long enough to reach a full flight of stairs, but it was easy enough to clean the top 3 stairs from above and the rest from below. The day after cleaning the living room the cat was sick on the carpet, but now instead of scrubbing with a cleaning spray I simply wiped up the mess then went over the area with the Bissell on express mode and after 3 passes all mess was gone. This is an excellent carpet cleaner in every way, and it would be even better with a slightly longer stair hose and a motorised stair brush.

I have only recently purchased the Bissell Pro Heat 2X and as with all products of such nature was sceptical when buying as any low star reviews I read tend to put me off spending a good amount of money. However, I have now had this product for less than a week and cannot rate it highly enough. I do not feel that 5 stars does the product justice! To outline, I have now been living in my house for 8 years and have not cleaned the carpets other than minor spot cleaning which left spots of clean areas throughout the house. There has therefore been 8 years worth of dirt accumulated on the carpets, particularly the living room where my 2 children eat and drink on occasions and spillages are frequent. There was hugely noticeable darkening of the living room carpet and high traffic areas including landings and stairs. After use of the carpet cleaner I can honestly and openly say that it has removed above 99% of all visual dirt and stains, bringing my carpets back to life as if new. The oxy solution which I used was fantastic and the odour is leaves behind in the carpets personally I feel is clean and fresh!! I used the oxy solution in conjunction with Bissell Pre-treat spray which appeared to have a profound impact on tougher stains. What I would say to anyone buying this product is to take your time when cleaning your carpets and ensure you cover each area more than once until you get the desired effect. Do not expect to use the product the same as a normal hoover and at the same speed. Cleaning with this machine is more time consuming but the results are worth the added time spent. The added bonus for me buying the product with Amazon is that I am now paying £38 per month over 5 months as opposed to a lump sum of £189.99. This made the purchase an even easier decision and is a more affordable option.HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great carpet and upholstery cleaner, I did my carpets with ease, i like the extra cleaning shot button on the side, the brushes in the rollers make it thoroughly clean areas, its a little heavy but not too much of a problem. Tanks are easy to fill, empty and clean although I've lost the tool to get the fluff out not sure where to purchase another one. I have a 5 year old son with severe sensory issues and low functioning autism we have a sensory room for him and a couch, he got the couch really stained with all sorts of food items, chocolate and sauces and various things. I was doubtful that this would get all the stains up as the colour of the couch is turquoise blue.It left amazing results all I used was the small upholstery tool with the tiny white bristles, it needed the deep clean mode to be set and a few good sprays of water over the stains and a bit of a scrub with the tool but overall not too much hard work and amazing results, I dont normally write reviews but with results like this I felt I had to share. I would definitely recommend this bissell pet pro x2 carpet cleaner and I would highly recommend the pets cleaning solution as that gets rid of odours as well as stains it's the better one that's there out of the samples that you get with the unit, I went out and bought a bigger bottle of it for £15 for a 1.5L in argos or you can also get from amazon for the same price, there is another cleaning solution from bissell that has oxy in the solution aswell I think I will try that next it's a little more expensive but for the price I'd say the pets solution was perfect too that's just me being curious to try the other solution. I've attached a before, half way through and after picture just to show how great the results was.

I already have a very similar model but this one has more deluxe features.1. Button to spray cleaning mix directly in front of machine.2. Better range of hand tools including one for stairs!3. Brush assembly is easier to take apart for cleaning. With the name of the machine I assumed it may have an electric heater to heat the cleaning solution but like my other one it expects you to fill it with 3.7L of hot water (near the top of the machine so when handled tilted makes it heavy as all the weight is on your arm) and it then uses the waste heat from the motor to keep the flow to the brushes warm. The clean and dirty water tanks are pretty easy to fill with indicator lines on the tanks for the fill levels. The detergent is added after you put the water in.Like all such machines, they are a bit noisy and I have got used to cordless cleaners so keeping the mains lead out of the way is an old issue reborn. What seems a little primitive with this one and my other model is that the floor brushes keep rotating when it is upright rather than them stopping and thus when using the hose and tools it is best to stand the machine over a hard floor to prevent carpet damage. After you have finished using it you have to flush the solution tanks and nozzles with clean water and also allow time to clean the dirty water tank and the bottom brush bars which tend to collect old bits of soggy carpet fluff.A flexible stick is provided to help you fish the fluff out of the vacuum path over the brushes. The cleaning results are good but only the quick clean drys in an hour and the intensive one takes a lot longer. Suck up as much water as possible and follow the instructions to avoid making your carpet excessively wet.
