I was given the opportunity to use and review this pack of 12 Bic Marking Pro permanent marker pens.I use permanent markers on a daily basis at work marking metal, glass and plastic, my work supply me pens so I will compare them to these Bic ones.I’m not just saying it for the review I’m very happy with these pens they are way better than the ones I use normally. The tips on the Bic pens are angled as shown in the picture giving me a finer edge to write on, the work supplied pens have a rounded tip and sometimes writing on small parts can get a little messy. Also quite often a get a build up of ink and get a big splurge of ink that’s now permanently on my parts. The body is bigger but made of the same type of metal as my normal ones. They are very strong pens, they go through a lot in my tool bag!I can confirm it works well on wood, metal glass and plastic as I’ve used it on all of them.I’ve also used it in the rain on metal and was totally permanent instantly. My work supplied pens smudge very easily In the rain, I put this down to the round tip giving to much ink out.I would agree these are perfect for home or professional use. They are a little expensive I’m not sure I would pay for 12 in one go. But they will last an absolute age I’m sure due to the size of them. They smell really strong, almost like how they used to make things, I’m sure you will know what I mean when you smell that smell yourself.Overall I’m happy and think the 12 markers will last me years. If this review has helped please click on the helpful buttonThanks

BIC is one of the leading names in writing implements and in my view they are certainly one of the best. This review is for a box of twelve blue BIC Marking Pro permanent makers (you can also get them in black). These pens work in nearly all environments and would make an excellent addition to a DIYer's tool box. My husband swears by them ... he uses them to mark measurements on various surfaces when completing and DIY work. They successfully write on metal, wood, glass and plastic, they dry really quickly keeping their vibrant ink colour and not fading at all.The chiselled tip is a decent size and makes these pens perfect for marking lines with a ruler or spirit level.Another feature my husband really appreciates is that the ink is resistant to water and extreme temperatures which makes them just the job for outside DIY work. They are now a permanent addition to my husband's tool box. And at £16.99 (price correct at the time of this review) for twelve they are good too.

This is definitely one marker pen you’ll want to hide from the kids, it writes on anything and washes off almost nothing. They’re a longish slimmish pen, compared to many markers, with a business-like metal barrel and a chunky cap that stores on the end of the pen but the wrong way up, if you see what I mean. They smell like they mean business too and obviously this is not a water-based ink. They’ve made their mark on everything I’ve tried them on and thankfully I’ve avoided marking anything else so far.I primarily wanted them for marking up boxes for an imminent house move and they’re perfect for that and can write with a good broad line. They can also create a much thinner line, if you hold them right,so they’re perfect for addressing smaller packages that might have to survive the elements on their journey. I can’t find any fault with them at all, they’re not the cheapest but they’re just excellent quality go-anywhere mark-anything pens.

I was asked if I’d like to review the BIC Marking Pro - Box of 12 Blue Permanent Markers, Tapered Tip, and I said yes.I’d recently had my last permanent marker pen run out on me, so I was pleased when these came in my queue to review. This is a box of 12 blue permanent markers that have a resistant metal barrel and roll-stop cap. These pens are very sturdy. These markers are resistant to water, light, friction and they dry quickly. You’ll find these are suitable for professional and industrial marking, DIY, labelling and outdoor use. These can be used on all kinds of surfaces, like:- metal, wood, plastic and glass, including items that are slightly damp or oily. The markers have a chisel tip,so when your writing they can give you lines that are 1.7 mm and 4.7 mm thick.I do a lot of photography and put all my photos onto CD’s and DVD’s. These markers write nicely and keep a record for me.I can recommend these. :-)

Picked these up because I can always do with permanent marker pens for labelling boxes at work and I've never had reason to be disappointed in a product from Bic.You get 12 tapered tip pens in this box - the thickest line is 4.7mm, the thinnest 1.7mm (which is perfectly fine for writing with). The ink is dark blue and I can definitely vouch that it's permanent (I actually got some on my hands and it took the best part of 5 days for it to fade away completely). The blurb on the box says that the pen can write on glass, wood, metal, cardboard and plastic. I only tried it on cardboard and plastic and it was absolutely fine - didn't smudge off or wipe away at all. It's also definitely water resistant (as I discovered when I made a minor error labelling up a plastic box). All in all, this is a very good product for those who need them and I would definitely recommend.

BIC Marking Pro - Box of 12 Blue Permanent Markers, Tapered Tip.You can't really go wrong with BIC: such a great make.As you can guess these work on absolutely everything and they are not coming off just like it says on the tin.My hubby likes to hoard stuff in his shed these are excellent for labelling his tubs of tat.He is also a DIY fiend so hes absconded with these for his own use on the promise I can use them for labelling boxes for the loft when I eventually get round to it.I also like that these are in a metal casing and don't roll and are great for inside and outside use.You are also able to create various line thickness which is another plus for these and they also withstand high andlow-temperature differences. These come in a pack of twelve so really good value working out about £1.50 a pen.

I'll confess: I'm a hoarder. I'll keep that pair of trousers whose waist is now sadly beyond even my best squeeze, that broken radio which, I am sure that I will mend... one day. So, you'll guess that my shed is packed with plastic bags and boxes full of precious junk. When I want something, I look at serried ranks of faded notes as to the contents of these multifarious containers. Wouldn't it be good if the ink hadn't faded, or rubbed off that smooth surface? Step forward these Bic markers. One would expect them to work on cardboard and wood but, on Metal and shiny plastic! The blurb assures me that they will even work on glass but, I am reluctant to scrawl on my windows to prove this!

This is a fabulous box of twelve BIC permanent ink markers. I have tried these out on cardboard, plastic and polystyrene and these work magnificently. Apparently they can also be used on glass, wood and metal. They are blue in colour and have a metallic body. They are comfortable to hold and these are wide tipped but depending on the angle when used, these tips can also mark a more narrow line. Personally, I do prefer a more conventional felt tip when using.Nevertheless, they are great for marking up swim equipment and do survive the ravages of chlorine, sunshine and water for a considerable length of time.

really good versatile permenant marker with sturdy metal body and a nice firm nib that is angled to allow you to write with thick loopy writing or thinner hand writing depending on the use. I used it to label food that was going into my freezer. It did not smear, it wrote on the shiny side of the card where NO pen has ever been able to make a proper mark before and despite being frozen, then defrosted, then microwaved it was still as clear and unsmudged as it was at the startA robust pen, and a bargain for a box of 12.

These markers are from BIC and therefore you know you are getting a premium product. This set is useful for all kind of jobs as you can literally write on just about anything making it a versatile product good for all use cases and they can withstand low & temperatures and also they are water resistant. They have a chiseled tip that allow you to adjust the line width too which is an amazing thing that does wonders. They have a premium build quality and dry quick too. They are great markers!

12.8.2019

The pens are good in hand nice and chunky in size, great for permanent writing which needs to be visible and apparent. The marker os ideally suitable for professional builders, as the thickness is better than other brands.BIC a famous with traditional ball pens, we all would chew when at school. The markers are of excellent quality, and the box will last a long time.I would only say perhaps a mix of colors would be a good idea, for home user 12pcs could last a few families generations.

These are really good markers. They come in a metal tube which will make the ink last longer. They are alcohol based and so smell a little bit.I only had 8 come as the rest must have fallen out of the box and got lost. I am not a particular fan of the slanted tip, would have been better if it had been a pointed round tip instead. They write on most surfaces and it will take solvent to get rid of it.Good value for money.

Touch wood, I've never had one of these burst or leak on me. They're a well made marker, that gives good results. The angled tip allows for a variety of writing widths.Store these correctly - horizontally, ideally in a capped jar or closed box with the caps down - and they'll last a decent length of time provided you make sure the cap is on tight.Absolute classic brand I've been using for about half a century.

12.8.2019

Excellent markers which are suitable for all sorts of jobs. They write on plastic, card, paper, metal, glass and wood and are really useful. My only gripe is that my box only contained 11 pens rather than 12, but as I didn’t pay for them I will let it go this time but a note to Amazon, for anyone who is purchasing this product a little bit of tape on the lid and bottom of the box would solve this problem.

17.8.2019

These permanent markers do just what they say on the box. Like most pens of this type there is a slight smell to them, but it’s not overpowering as is the case with some makes of marker. The tip is tapered like a calligraphy pen, so it’ll write both thin and thick lines. The ink dries immediately to avoid smudging and the pens themselves, though very lightweight, are quite sturdy. Excellent value.
