This product lining has delaminated and it is all bubbly and is now useless. Had a similar product by another manufacturer that lasted 20yrs, not the two years that this one has lasted.The lining of the pan is so dangerous that it cannot be used as the risk of the deterioration of the lining contaminating the food.UPDATE We have now received a replacement from Germany via America. It was a bit convoluted what with Covid pandemic but we are now happy to continue to use a very useful pan on our Aga and Induction Hob.Well done Berndes and Giese Rolf and Becky Hesseling in America.Welldone

This is my second pan of this type. I used the first one for over 14 years. It is perfect for my Aga. But to fully utilise it you need a lid, thank goodness I have a lid from my first pan (not sold separately) as the cost of a new one is, in my opinion, excessive. So the pan, minus a lid, scores less on versatility. In fact looking at the depth of the pan and it’s detachable handle you can see it is designed to go in the oven. A lid is definitely needed for slower cooking in the oven otherwise there would be too much evaporation.

This is a great pan, perfect for the AGA hotplates and then easily goes into the oven with the detachable handle, I use it very often, this is my 3rd pan which lasts about 4 to 5 years before it needs replacing. (as the surface deteriorates) even though i use silicon utensils. I purchased a lid with my first pan and still have it..

This is an excellent product, exactly the same as the one sold under the AGA brand for considerably more. The handle detaches so it can be used in the oven, although you do need to purchase the 28cm lid for this to be a viable option. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that with the lid it is rather expensive.

Love these pans. I have just replaced my previous version that was used on an almost daily basis for 7 years. I cannot tell you how great this item is. It goes from job to oven. It’s big enough to hold a whole cottage pie or pasta dish. I often serve straight onto the table

This is our third pan - they last for years and use it for so many things . Wouldn’t be without one . The lid is needed too but our first lid has endured for all 3 pans . one of my most used cookware , excellent quality and perfect for so many things .

I have 2 of these pans and the Aga 28 cm lid fits perfectly so enables them to be stacked. So easy to clean. They can double up as large frying pans. Perfect for bolognese casseroles etc. Start off on hot plate then transfer to warming drawer.

Brilliant stewpan, which, because of its detachable handle, can go straight from hob to oven - fantastic. It is also very light, even when full of stew, so I can lift and carry it easily, much better than a cast iron pan.

This is my 3nd Berndes pan. Excellent quality and can be used in many ways. Can go in the oven / AGA. Best to buy the lid as well. Lasts for years. Seems expensive but lasts so much longer than any other pan I've tried.

This if a replacement for an itentical pan. We use it very often. Frying, casseroles, risotto curries etc. The previous one lasted for years but the lining wore away eventually.

I already have one of these pans, have had it for some years but wanted a second. The are brilliant pans and the detachable handle means that it can go from hob to oven easily.

This is a great frying and stewing pan. The nonstick surface works well, the lid is detachable so you can then put the pan in the oven for slow cooking.

Although expensive, they are well worth the money. The nonstick is fab and last really well I have a roasting tin which is also fab. Love these pans.

Fantastic to cook with and wash up! Great on the induction hob. Took ages to come - down to courier, which was annoying as postage was expensive.

This was bought to replace the same item purchased 15 years ago. Still expensive though.
