I had been looking for a decent pair of walking boots for a while.I've previously paid over £100 for a pair but didn't want to spend that amount of money this time.I looked at these when Amazon were selling them for £70 but ended up getting them for £50 on black Friday when my girlfriend bought them for me for xmas. When it comes to boots, depending on the make etc I can be either a size 9 or 9.5.For these we used prime wardrobe and it's a brilliant idea.I ordered 3 difference sizes, kept the ones I wanted and sent the other 2 pairs back to Amazon. These boots are very comfortable, I've yet to try them in wet weather so I can't comment on the weather proofing on them.I would say they are wellworth the money I paid and I'd go as far to save they are even worth £100.The are well made and hopefully they will last me quite some time.

My feet stayed warm, dry and stable while wearing them on various longer and shorter trips. Went up a hill/mini mountain with some very slippery and cluttered surfaces, didn't trip or slip once. Definitely recommendedUpdate after more than a year: Used them for probably 500km so far, including hiking through more difficult and soggy terrain. I've cleaned + treated them with waterproof spray multiple times by now and my feet always stayed dry. I don't exclude that your feet might get wet if you continuously submerge your feet in deep puddles/wade through water, but unless you really do that (why?!), your feet will stay dry. They are also still super comfy, and still supportive.Best hiking boot I had in my life!

These are a little on the small size. I take a 7 or 8, and these 9s are a perfect fit. So order a size up.I agree with a previous reviewer: they aren't heavy duty. If you are a serious walker who likes to get in among the scree, get boots with a more protective toe cap than these. There is limited ankle support. On the plus side: they are very light; very comfortable; waterproof (so far); breathable. I like them, but that may be because I'm too old now to do the kind of rough walking I used to.They are quality boots, for the money, but if I was buying a pair I think I'd spend the extra few quid and get a genuine Goretex version.

I have invariably bought more Berghaus walking boots over the years than other makes although I don't go by brand names, the style and feel of them generally suit me. These are fine boots, I like the look of them, black and charcoal with a dash of red on the tread and inside the boot. They are very comfortable and the main body and back of the boot is high enough to offer a good level of support; time will tell but they feel very rugged and able to cope with the elements so they're perfect for all sorts of hill walking and treks.

Worn these straight out the box on a 10 mile hike, got a size 8.5 which is what i normally wear but found they were tight across the widest part of my foot. I persisted until i finished the walk but could not wear them the next day for another 10 miles. Still got them but will need the break them in before the next hike. They are light and generally comfortable, (apart from my issue) they will be worn again by me so happy with the buy? i always look for a boot with a wide fit.. thought these might do it... Not quite.

These boots have arrived today and I have to say, they are even better looking than I thought they’d be, I know that’s not top priority for some.I haven’t worn them for a long walk yet but they seemed perfectly comfy on a short walk not even wearing them in.Not certain how water resident they will be as I have never owned a pair of boots that actually could keep water out, fingers crossed ??Finally, they fit perfectly, I’d get your usual size for a boot if you order ????

Bought these boots for my son who says they are very comfortable, have great ankle support and are waterproof. They needed no breaking in and were comfortable straight from the box. He takes a shoe size 10 and this was the perfect size for the boot as well. So in conclusion, he is extremely pleased with them. They may not be as expensive as some of the Berghaus boots but thus far are just as good. Just what you would expect from Berghaus!

These boots are still going strong after 18 months use. I use them year round, from casual walks to multi day hikes in the UK national parks. They have performed well in various conditions on wet rocks and boggy marshes - always had dry feet and no blisters and the seams and sole are all still intactFor the price (They were 75 quid at the time) They have been excellent

I was tempted by the Skechers equivalent but Amazon had these in stock and were cheaper. My worry was that they would be too narrow but with no wide fitting available ( unlike Skechers) I took the risk and they have proved comfortable and look good too. I’m a big Skechers fan so maybe Other known brands are fighting back. !

First impressions, they look good. Lightweight, good tread and thickness of sole. They fit as expected, so consider going a half size up if you plan on wearing really thick socks with these, but otherwise probably not needed. I've worn them on a few walks and they are very comfortable. A good choice.

A perfect fit for my 19 grandson. He says they are so very comfortable to wear, that they look trendy and are very warm. Absolutely great for winter and for walking. They are also waterproof as they claim to be and they are very sturdy and well made. He reckons he will get a lot of wear from them.

Very comfortable but not really heavy duty walking boots, fine for occasional long distance walking but not really suitable for heavy use. The sides are not really high enough to provide ankle support, but good value for the price.

Have used this brand for many years due to them being comfortable out of the box with no need to break in and being totally waterproof.Due to the guarantee of lifetime care can be bought without any concerns regarding fitment

My second pair of these Berghaus Waterproof Walking Boots my first pair lasted 10 years. These are the same great quality, fit very comfortable, and Amazons price was the best with free prime delivery. Highly Recommended
