I've have been using a Benro regularly for the last six years and have found it to be well made and stable.I purchased this one as it has a 'boom' for overhead work such as copying and low level macro and landscape work,the boom also makes it possible to use the tripod to one side with the advantage of not having to 'straddle it as when in a normal upright position,it also allows more angles to to the subject when using a ball head type mount.The boom will hold my D800E with a 90 mm macro lens at almost full horizontal extension when positioned over a tripod leg beneath.The circular leg clamps are preferred as they don't get snagged on branches etc when out in the field,unlike the push type

Lovely sturdy tripod and great value for money. The tripod takes my full frame Sony and lenses with easy. Not heavy to carry around considering the sturdiness of the tripod. The twist controls on the legs are well constructed, easy to use and most importantly, lock the legs in place

Superb tripod. I use it with my Benro gearrd head. A perfect combination. There is no composition I cannot achieve. Solid, stable, versatile.
