have been reading the reviews about this pruduct and most of thenm are possitive as for the ones that anr not there not even related to this item. first off i can't stand people leaving bad feedback on a company that is trying to make products that are convenient. second they clearly don't think about the fact that the vga cable is most likely fine the quality of your signal is reduced the more it has to travel eg if you have a really good graphics card you will be fine with this product if not then you will see ghosting etc as you don't have that strong a signal to begin with wish people would look into things that are common sense and stop saying that products are bad when it really is just

I purchase this cable so that I could use my Macbook (with a mini-DVI adapter) on my Samsung LED TV. I wanted a long cable so that I could route it around the edge of the room and under my bed. I can now watch downloaded films etc on my TV without the messy cable trailing along the floor.This is a high quality cable which means it's quite thick so you wouldn't be able to hide it under a rug or route it right into a corner. The connectors are very well made and the screws have been designed for finger use rather than the majority that seem to be designed for use with a screwdriver (seriously, who uses a screwdriver to connect a monitor cable?!).I shopped around before purchase and found this to be the best value 'long'

I ordered this cable to link my Sony Vaio laptop with a broken screen to my TV. Was able to navigate through my files easily and transfer and backup to an external hard disk before sending the laptop off for repair. There was no ghosting or interference as the cable is well shielded. Although this cable is suitable for the purpose described above, I was also able to view my photos on the TV screen, but you might want to note that if you wish to watch a movie you have downloaded to your laptop, you will need to buy a cable with a sound jack too. I went for the 5m cable as it had the best review, I had intended to buy a shorter one,

I bought this to connect my Dell laptop to my Samsung plasma tv, and it works. The picture quality is good (far better than I get through the S-Video connection).I originally tried a cheap 5m VGA cable from eBay, however the loss of signal through the cable was too great for the tv, and I got no picture. I returned it and bought this having read the reviews and am very pleased I did.I use it with a "5m Gold 3.5mm Stereo Plug to Stereo Plug" cable to carry the sound to the tv, although for a better sound experience I connect the laptop audio out to my Onkyo AV receiver with a different cable.

Well it's only a cable, and arrived promptly. It's obviously very sturdy - the cable, the moulded ends and the connecting screws. I only hold back one star because the cable is a little stiff which I have found in the past to mean a thick sheath over small cross-section filaments, rather than a genuine upgrade of all components. Real premium cables (10x the price) tend to retain their flexibility although thicker overall cross section. Can't test the theory with out destroying the cable, but even if I'm right still good value for the price.

The cable seems sturdy. It didn't however work straight-off.That is, the resolution was all messed up when the cable was connected at 1400x900 and no other default resolution/refresh rate combination worked. I didn't have any such problem with my previous cable.YOU MAY BE ABLE TO FIX THIS:Set a custom resolution using your video card driver settings. In my case and for my monitor, I set it to 1440x900 at 60Hz which seemed to do the trick.Make sure you can do this before you buy this cable.

I bought this to replace a previous generic 2m vga cable that had ghosting problems. When this turned up I noticed immediately how much thicker the cable was to previous cables I've used. I connected it to my Toshiba laptop and into my 32" Toshiba tv. There are no ghosting problems whatsoever, the picture is crisp and clear. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a 5m vga cable that is built well, has no ghosting problems and is cheap.

i have no hdmi port in my laptop, and i wanted to connect it with my projector (already connected to my xbox via hdmi), so i bought the cable. with all it's lenght and svga resolution- it does the job even on 100 inch screen. if u only don't expect to see hd picture of course :) it wants to change my pc resolution (which shows notes about it from time to time), but i keep native res still and it works.definitely worth the money.

This cable is just what was needed to transfer picture from PC to TV-the picture quality is really brilliant. Great debate on web on whether this level of spec is needed-but better to be safe than sorry-and for under a tenner-this is really good value. Delivery was a day late-but apart from that-no issues-just going to order another for a friend.

As reviewer Johnny Robbo below I too bought these cables ( together with 3.5mm Stereo Plug to Stereo Plug 5 Mtrs Gold leads for sound. £1.49 inc p&p how do they do it) for use with my Ferrari Acer laptop to a Sony Bravia TV. All plugs in very easily and works fine. Used mostly to watch BBC iPlayer downloads. Great!

This cable is great, i'm using it as a replacement for my monitor, done some low-spec gaming with it, had no issues, no ghosting.From other reviews i guess it may struggle with high-end games, but as i don't play any high-end games, i wouldn't know.Great cable for what i've used it for.

High quality extension cable allowing you to have your computer box and monitor 2m further apart. Plug your monitor cable into one end of this extension, then the other into your computer. No loss of signal quality, ghosting or delay. Great cable.

This Belkin Pro Monitor cable is very nice, it has a thick robust cable and is gold plated at the connection points. The cable displays a very good picture without ghosting on my monitor. I would recommend this cable for quality and price.

excellent quality for price, buying this in currys is about 5 times as expensive for on with 1/4 the length of cable this one comes with. there is no choice to be made, this is your best option when it comes to vga cables in my opinion.

This item is a true quality product. Does exactly what I expected ie. connected my Note book to a 50" Samsung TV and gives perfect results. The heavy weight of the cable indicates its quality and robustness. No complaints at all.
