The item arrived very promptly and was securely packaged. I needed it as I have just added a DVD player to my Hi-Fi system and so needed an extra socket (the Hi-Fi already needed three plus one for the TV - hence the need for at least five sockets. Previously I had been using a four socket strip.). I prefer Belkin as they offer a guarantee and the four socket one made by another manufacturer did not seem to be working any longer - its green light indicating protection was not illuminated. I always use surge protected sockets for electronic equipment and I think this contributes significantly to its reliability.

Not too much to say really, it's a 6 plug strip on a 3m extension, as described. The only thing to note (and you can tell from the picture now I look at it) is that the lead from the wall plug comes in to the right hand side of the strip. This is moulded into the plastic so you cannot change it to the left side. What this means in practical terms is that if you are going to mount it on the wall, and the plug you are running it from is to the left of the location, the UK plugs will be "upside down" in the sockets.

This product does what you would expect it to do - a 6-way surge protector with 3m Cable. However, the plug sockets are quite close together so if you have an oversized plug (such as for an Ikea table light) then the plug will overlap the next socket meaning you can't use 1 of the sockets. So if you have standard plugs then this won't bother you. But if you have many oversized plugs then you might want to consider another product with more spacing between sockets.

I bought a number of these to protect my brother's appliance and computers... He had no protection at all, so in a thunder storm or in the event of a power spike or surge, his electrical equipment would have been fried!!! This item is a no frills, do what it says item... Just plug into the mains and plug the appliances into it and away you go... Has it worked? I can't tell you yet, we haven't had a surge or spike yet!!

This item has a decent length cable. It's strong but still fairly flexible so it settles quickly and doesn't stay coiled up for long after being taken out of the packaging. Only minor complaint is that the sockets are a bit close together which makes oversize plugs a bit annoying. No surges yet so cannot comment on the protection offered. All in all a decent item.

Pros: Great, simple multi socket extension. No issues with quality and works as intended, with an indicator light to show if it's on or off.Cons: Lacking individual on/off switches per socket, sockets are also quite close to one another so if you have weirdly shaped plugs/adapters you may not be able to use all of the sockets.Overall, a value buy!

Great Value, Just What i Needed for my DJ Set up, Surge Protected with a Green Light indicating thats it's Performing ok. if anyone is looking for a cheap but satisfying 6 way surge protector, this is the one. 9/10 for me, would of got a 10/10 if they were individual switches to turn on & off, but hey for the price can't Complain.

Definitely recommend it. Nothing much really to say but thought it was worth paying a bit more to get good and trustworthy electrical product. Not worth taking any risk with cheap products.Worth noting though that it does not come with the covers as in one of the pics.

Excellent SurgeStrip. Been using Belkins for many years now, and none have failed on me. Been through many thunderstorms etc and voltage fluctuations, and managed to help save much of my electronics. Seen other electronics not plugged in fried and toasted. lol.

Looks very good and sturdy. I feel I didn't waste my money on it.The cable is thick, sturdy and Earth neutral. All sockets are working perfectly. They just needed switchers for each socket and it would be the most powerful basic plug cable in the market.

I use these sockets for our office pc's and for bell in quality they are good value at this price,3M cable length is perfect for the office where you can reach across to the third desk easily and don't have lots of untidy cable left.

good, but the vendor sent an incorrect unit, i wanted a 3 metre long cable - one unit they sent was 1 metre but the bag for it was labelled 3 metres. Clearly mislabeled at the production line rather than the vendor's error.

Simple and effective, well built. The power cable is nice and long, but I would have liked a power switch on the power strip itself, allowing me to switch off all the connected devices without finding the wall socket.

You can feel that this power strip is very well made as soon as you pick it up. Thick strong wire and surge protection too. If only it had individual switches for each socket at this price!

Always used these surgestrips at work. Better built than most, they last, and I've never had any problems with them. Good quality thick cables too, nothing cheap and nasty about these.
