lightweight, yet sturdy, these are fantastic. They are pretty waterproof. Anyone who rides will know that there is no overshoe that can completely block the rain as it seeps down the inside of your lycra, and there is nothing any overshoe can do about it. But these keep out pretty much all the rain at the toe end of the shoe. They also stay in place well, and don't ride up over the heels. They are easy to wipe down after use, and they do a sterling job in bad weather. My only criticism would be that the tops are a bit tight, but that may be just because I have big calves.
