This is a great choice for everyday care or even as a gift for a man who wants to take care of himself but you're unsure of his skin type- this is super handy whether fully moisturises or just the arms and hands it doesn't look or smell 'girly' and although at first the lemony scent seems Unisex there is a definite masculine note from a base woody musk that grows after the citrus relaxes.The lotion itself is has a lovely slip and quickly absorbed thanks to the use of silicones, and there is a lovely moisturised skin feel that lingers for hours thanks to the added glycerin which combined would also help with tattoo care for those looking for that.

Lovely!I've put this in the bathroom for my gentlemen visitors (that sounds dodgy, but I am referring to my dad and my brother!). I tried to myself to see what it is like, and apart from the (amazing) man smell, the lotion is really good. Not too greasy, absorbs into the skin quickly, and my skin felt properly moisturised for the rest of the day.At just under 500ml, the bottle is rather large, and in a delightfully bold royal blue with white label, it makes a refreshing change in comparison with the usual insipid "ladies" lotions packaging.The item description on the Amazon product page lists all the ingredients, for the purists who care. They key thing to note is that it is paraben-free (which is a good thing).

This is a very light and easily absorbed lotion for all over body use. Once applied it leaves the skin feeling soft and supple, without the feeling of there being any residue.The fragrance is lovely, somewhat citrussy and a little musky, definitely very masculine. I've asked a few female family members and the reactions are universally positive. It's reminiscent of male fragrances and aftershaves, though it isn't overpowering and leaves a relatively subtle yet noticeable aroma.The packaging is simple but I love the blue chosen for the bottle.Unfortunately, I suffer from winter dry skin and I can have areas of sore broken skin. I guessed that this, despite being a 'hydro salve body lotion'

Well, to start off with I find that a lot of attention has gone into how this product is presented. Deceptively simple, it states immediately what it is, “Hydro Salve Body Lotion”, but the manufacturer label really stands out at the bottom in a completely different font that makes a bold statement about the producer. Well done to the advertising company for this keeping things basic…!I do like the subtlety of the scent. It is not overpowering, and reminds me of sandalwood products I have used in the past. Perhaps more suited to a male audience, but because of the natural smell, I feel it will be equally appreciated by both sexes.After a days gardening,

This Baxter of California Hydro Salve Body Lotion comes in a generous 473ml/16 Fl oz pack. This is a really nice product for everyday use and is light, non-greasy and subtly fragranced. Although targeted at men this product, would, in my opinion, be suitable for either sex and my girlfriend agrees.The pump action pack allows you to measure out just the right amount for your needs. The lotion feels ideal for face, hands, arms, legs and the rest of the body as it's quickly absorbed and delivers a long-lasting feeling of softer, better hydrated skin. As a diabetic, I use this lotion on my feet too which are very prone to dryness and in only a couple days it's hydrated my soles well.

This lotion comes in a generously sized matte blue tub that looks great on the bathroom shelf. The branding is decidedly unisex, as is the traditionally masculine scent with notes of citrus and herbs. The scent is in fact very pleasant and refreshing; it is a nice departure from some of the sweet or fruity-scented products aimed at women.It applies and sinks into the skin effortlessly, grease-free, leaving it lightly moisturised and fresh smelling. My husband likes this body lotion. What to note about it:* it is light and invisible when it soaks in* it really works - my hands felt much softer after using it in this dry Northeast cold weather* it has a scent great for guys: lemony, herbal with a hint of musk* it goes on easily* a little amount covers a good amount of area* you can use it as an aftershave* the dispenser works wellWhen I put it on my hands, it didn't melt into my skin and felt a bit greasy to me. I'm used to women's lotion which melts right in. However, my husband put it on his hands, and he said it was fine for him. I washed it off my hands, but they still feel softer.

The Baxter products have never disappointed and that now goes for this salve body lotion. Even though this is for my son, I tried it out. First, it smells fantastic, not at all a feminine or even neutral scent. This is definitely a man's scent. It is very appealing to me.Next, this lotion goes on smoothly and it is not greasy at all. It did take about 30-45 seconds for it to really absorb into my skin, but not long enough to make it a problem. What I can say is my skin is NOTICBLY softer. My skin feels silky smooth and soft. I am very impressed with this lotion. I wish I could find this texture lotion with a woman's scent.The one thing I will say is that the scent lasts so if you are a man that likes to smell good,

This is a lovely big tub of fresh smelling, light feeling body lotion with a simple and sturdy push button applicator.It's just the job for what I was looking for - with 2 small kids in our household I'm constantly either washing up, doing laundry, bathing them or wiping various grub off their faces. I find I often have uncomfortably dry hands so this big tub of body lotion now sits on the side in our bedroom ready to deliver some soothing lotion whenever I need it.The lotion is light and easily absorbed, it has a wonderfully fresh yet earthy smell to it - great if you're regularly slapping it all over yourself as you'll smell delicious!

I must admit I was not quite expecting such a generous amount to be honest but it seems that this is the standard (possibly?) size it’s sold in, so full marks for that. In use it has quite a pleasant aroma, comes out very neatly from the dispenser pump at the top and is easy to apply. However while it feels slightly greasy when applying, it soon dries off leaving a very nice but understated aroma and in such a case you can’t really put a time to it as in how long the aroma itself ‘last’ but it is enough as its now overpowering like some on the market are. It does leave the skin feeling nice and fresh as you certainly know you have applied it that’s for sure and considering the size of the container as supplied,

A generous 16fl oz of hydro salve body lotion from Californian manufacturer Baxter.The moisturiser is intended for everyday use, anywhere on the body and for all skin types.I have dry skin on my lower legs and have been primarily using it on those areas. The lotion rubs in easily and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky residue. The major constituents of the potion is glycerine and coriander seed oil. The lotion leaves an earthy musky odour which lasts for most of the day. This should be taken into account if using it on your arms or other exposed areas of the skin as the quite strong smell could interact with other deodorants, after shave etc. that you may be using. Baxter of California Hydro Salve Body Lotion, 16 ozThe product.This is a body lotion for men. It comes in a 16 oz pump container.Using.It is economical to use as a little goes a long way. It has a very feint but pleasant smell.Effectiveness.It does make you skin feel very smooth and hydrated. After using for a week there is a definite improvement in the smoothness and suppleness of my skin. However, it does feel a bit oily if you overdo it especially on the face so I would recommend a different product for this area.Overall.An effective body lotion that does get results. Use sparingly to avoid an oily finish. Overall, pleased with it and what it does.

I’ve been using this body lotion for well over a week now and feel I can definitely give it five stars. I’ve been using it mainly as an after shave balm and it’s wonderful, non sticky, does not sting and I love the way it leaves your skin feeling smooth, supple but not over moisturised leading to greasy shine.A little of this product goes a long way, work into the skin and it’s quickly absorbed. The wonderful fragrance is very masculine and stays for many hours, I really like the smell, it reminds me little of a mixture of sun tan lotion and expensive men’s after shave.I’m very pleased and will definitely be ordering more!

Love this stuff.It has a fresh, green fragrance. I thought it smelled of Vetiver but a colleague thinks more Lavender -either way it's a nice leafy 'garden' smell -not floral but more verdant. Right up my street.It is absorbed very quickly and does indeed leave a long lasting moisture barrier which is nonetheless not greasy.The bottle is made from recyclable materials and is recyclable. Furthermore, it has a nice matt rubbery finish.May seem pricey but as well as being quality stuff, you get about a pint of it. -A decent portion!
