I bought the digital version off of the Nintendo StoreThis is a great classic feeling JRPG, turn based combat. Has decent voice acting and the story is quite thin and generic but the battle feels good and the combat is slick and looks great.I played through my first time and got to Max level 30, got all the legendary weapons etc and then was done. Took about 30 hours to get everything.I then bought another game, Darkest Dungeon, that people on Reddit said was better. Didn't like it, went right back to playing Battle Chasers:Nightwar again but this time I did a New Game+ on my old save. This basically flushes all your inventory, resets to level 1 but keeps all your perks (talents)

I started playing a week ago and I have now 10h of gameplay. The game is really straightforward and the different dynamics are really easy to understand and get used to. I really like the art and the fact that the main quest have characters dialogues with audio, makes the experience much more interesting.As for difficulty, the game seems quite balanced and, even if most of the fights are quite easy, I happened to die to a couple of bosses that were higher level than my party.The only negative thing I could say for now is that the intro video is only skippable after the first 10-15 seconds or so, which is mildly frustrating.

Great game, but as of patch 1.01 it's very buggy. Crashed 20+ times since I got it in 30 hours of playtime so far. But i'm sure they are working on a new patch to address that. Also, it says it's "PS4 Pro Enhanced" on the back of the box, but there are no enhancements on my PS4 Pro and 4K TV, so that's false advertising. I even messaged the developer about that but recieved no response, so because of these two issues I'm going to have to take a star off.4/5. With pro support and crashing issues fixed it would have been a 5/5.

I love this game, the characters and art style are excellent, the turn based JRPG combat is strategic and challenging. The story is great. The only issue relates more to the platform then the game itself. On switch dungeon exploring it’s quite choppy when docked, I’d imagine hovering around the 20fps mark, however this issue isn’t present in handheld mode so won’t be an issue for everyone. That said map exploration and actual combat gameplay is perfectly smooth so performance here is a mixed bag.

I was expecting a good game, but i got an amazing one. Nowadays, when some big titles that cost £50 are riddled with micro transactions i really appreciate games like this. So far loving everything about it. I had a few minor hiccups, but I'm sure that's going to be fixed with a patch pretty soon. Everything else is actually very polished with great attention to detail. Awesome style and graphics, music, battle system, etc. Didn't have so much fun with a game for a while. Recommended!

Enjoying this jRPG and so addictive to I love the fact the dungeons have normal hard and very hard to choose from the battles are so cool when you can walk into them and there 3d alike when fighting and it's like final fantasy style the art style I love how they have done it characters are unique as they all do different moves out side of battle as well all n all it's a must have for any adventures who is a JRPG/RPG fan

Really loved this game! At some point in the game, you have to choose a party of 3 characters out of six. Each character is very well portrayed and interesting in their own unique skills that I ended playing each dungeon twice so I could use all six characters.I read the 90s comics before playing the game, it may have helped understand the characters more.I wholeheartedly recommend this game.

I've got to say it's an addictive game. Been playing for 2.5h and I did like what I've seen/experienced. If you like turn based games go for it, you won't be disappointed.The version I've bought is for Xbox One. I haven't had any issues at all (like the game crashes), everything goes well.More games like this one are very welcome in the industry.

The combat is very additive and has a lot of depth. The graphics look nice both undocked and docked and the game plays very well.One small complaint is that the loading time is a little too long between world map and dungeons, this doesn't affect the overall experience but hopefully can be improve through future patches.

FANTASTIC JRPG!only played the first couple of hours or so but wow what a game! gorgeous graphics and great game mechanics!the only "little" gripe I would have is that the inventory management is a bit overwhelming at first but I am sure you will get used to it.all in all......great game at £20 :)thanks THQ Nordic

Great game a lot of fun but still a little buggy at the moment I've had a few errors occur but nothing game breaking yet I would definitely recommend this to anyone it would be a five if it wasn't for the errors occurring but once that's sorted Ile be happy to change to 5 stars

It’s a good game, but I find it a bit repetitive and boring at times. However, there are also fun and engaging times.I think for the price it is worth it, and I suppose the big question is always “would you buy it again?” - yes.

If you loved the turn based final fantasy games then this will fill the void that's been left since final fantasy X. Great story. I have played 48 hours and I am just over halfway through the main story. Worth every penny.

Great game on switch. There's some longer loading times and it's frame rate drops a bit in places, but that shouldn't put you off. Great game play, art style and story, with tones of content. Definitely would recommend.
