I had no concept of size when I received this item. It popped pretty magnificently from a compact circle to a huge unicorn tent! My 6 year old niece and 3 year old nephew absolutely love it. It's actually very sturdy but easy to mov around!Pros:- It's absolutely huge and easily fits two kids in, although my niece and nephew did bang heads so be careful! It's a tardis and I had no idea it would be so big when it arrived in a smallish box- Kids Iove it - it's really fun and has enough doors for multiplay and sharing- Lovely design - the colours and unicorn shapes are great for girls and boys alike, and the rainbow backdrop and grass terrain just add an air of happiness and Summer to it- Even though the instructions are intimidating,it's easier just to use your sense. You get two separate parts, one being the inside door which matches velcro on the inside that you just the edges to (you then have a door flap and it helps keep the shape on the inside as it's a stronger material) and you have a small rectangle which just pushes onto velcro slots inside at the bottom end to keep the shape down there too! You then pop the sticks in the little slots in the middle (they are designed so you can pull them apart in the middle to create a curve and then straighten them when you have both sides connected like traditional tends) and then there's another two at the front by the mesh door- You get a door at the rainbow side, an inside flap and a mesh door at the front- It's really lightweight so really easy to move around and move between rooms- Easy to store - all parts can be folded down to a circle and tied up using the ties provided. You just need to keep the two stabilising sticks apart but you can tie them all together for safe keepingCons:- One of the doors is on the rainbow side. I'd view that side as a backdrop and had it against the wall originally so didn't see why the door was on that side - I appreciate if it were on the front it may disrupt design but it's quite inconvenient- There were a few tiny holes in the material at the bottom but nothing seriousAll in all I'd recommend this wholly. It's a good price and young kids obviously love it. It's the perfect playtent which is easily stored and an absolute tardis. The unicorn design is so cute and the added features of the horn and tail are adorable. They've also obviously thought the shape and durability through as it feels stable and like it will last. Big five stars from me - we all love it!

I ordered this unicorn play tent for my just turned 4 year old and 6 year old daughters.Like most young girls both my daughters are huge fans of anything unicorn. So this is another one of those perfect toys for them.The tent itself is not only super cute and girly (with a unicorn design in colours white, pink, purple, yellow, and green) but it’s also super easy to pop up. You sort of twist and ‘pop’ it goes. Literally takes seconds to put up, and it’s just as easy to take down again with the same sort of action. Which makes it ideal for children’s play times in the home throughout the day, knowing you can easily pop it back down again and put it out of the way.It’s not one of those tents that takes hours to put up so you darent collapse it again for storage as you fear the same rigmarole for putting it back up, no this is so very simple, easy, and quick that it makes it ideal.As for how it functions as a toy- well my daughters have been really enjoying playing princesses, camping, etc with this tent. It’s one of those toys that does seem to encourage imaginative play, with children creating different storylines, themes, and ideas to play depending upon their mood. Super cute to watch them dress up and then play princesses.It’s a good quality tent, I don’t expect it to last forever, but I think for the price point it’s something that you can’t expect to.It’s large enough to comfortably for my 2 daughters in for playing, but probably wouldn’t fit more than 2 young children at once to be honest.I think it would make an ideal Christmas gift for children who are into unicorns and would revel at the chance to play imaginatively, perhaps even pretending they are camping for the night. It comes presented in a nice box, with printing of contents on the front and back.I think the recommended age is around 3+ from what I recall (we recycled the box so I can’t be fully sure, but that is pretty much the standard so I’d assume it’s the same) but I’d say slightly younger children should be able to play in the tent safely, it doesn’t have any obvious small parts or anything that could be dangerous to toddlers.All in all a nice children’s toy tent.

Ordered this for my nieces age 5 and 2 as they love unicorns.When it arrived we removed from box untied ribbon around it and basically just pull open it kind of just opened up and appeared so so simple.It is so much bigger than we expected and my sister was go a little mad ask were she could possibly put it lol but after a little rearranging of room we placed in corner.There are 2 plastic bars that go 1 across roof inside and 1 above large door and then a panel that attaches to back these 3 small items make the tent very sturdy.There is also like a conservatory lol near the head of unicorn with big entrance door and then netted section (which is like porch or small conservatory).When the girls were picked up from school/nursery and they saw it they were squeeling with excitement and just loved it dolls teddies and t set and cushions were quickly taken inside ( my 18yr old daughter also crawled in but with the 3 of them plus toys they were like sardines (which my nieces found hilarious) The girls stayed in there most of the evening pouring orange juice tea and eating tiny sandwiches and cake slices.Its a really great tent for 1 or 2 children to play in with plenty of space for toys.We didn’t fully fold up but we did fold it down before putting sticks in and it folded easily so would Be matter of remove 2 sticks and fold very simple but for now we decided to leave up.Do read the measurements before you order because it is larger than we expected BUT it’s great quality simple to put up and take down and any unicorn lover will love this.Great present and good value

We have a five year old in the family who is everything Unicorn mad! So as you can imagine she was delighted when I turned up with this pop up Unicorn tent. It is simplicity itself to pop up and twist back down, and this is important when you bear in mind that it measures over six feet by three feet. There is easily enough room for three. maybe even four children to squeeze into it and there are two entrance areas and a mesh curtain. The colours and shape of the tent look so good and it was soon put to use. It’s occupant has already installed her Unicorn rug inside and her collection of toy Unicorns, along with her tea set so that they can all have a party.It is great to see how much pleasure this tent has bought and I can see it is going to get a lot of use. Her mum and dad tell me that she is planning on sleeping in it. Took me back to when I was a child and my mum put a couple of sheets over the table to make me a den. I had hours of fun in there and still remember it today. I can only imagine how magical this Unicorn play tent must be to a child, if I got that much fun out of a table and sheets! Hopefully this will be creating some lifelong happy memories. I think if you are looking to buy something really full of play value for a child who is into Unicorns, my review will help you decide whether this is what you are looking for. At the price of just over £40 at the time of writing I reckon this is pretty good value.So good, she wants to sleep in it!

The instructions reminded me a little of that famous Swedish Furniture store....once you get your head around what you need to do you will construct the the tent in under 5 minutes. We all did laugh at the instructions I must admit... The results were great and the tent was up and stable and the kids were declaring it an adult free zone in seconds. The squeeling of delight was equally funny. The extra features of the unicorm horn and tail were a particular favourite of the 3 and 5yr old girls who raced in to own it! It is a genuine little play tent with a little porch and then doorway in (head end) and a side door if you need to see why they are quiet! Aside from the instructions the onky minor criticism is this is onky 3 foot tall.Compared to many others though it is very well constructed with nice quality velcro connections for the head and tail. I love it as a play hideout and so will your kids. Overall happy to recommend it is a great play tent that is well made and care has been taken on the details. Andrew

We have a pop-up tent that we use in the garden to provide shade for the children on sunny days. The 'Playhut Unicorn Play Tent' could be used for this, but it is more of an indoor den style of tent. The whole thing comes packed quite small and once you unleash it, it pops up almost fully formed only needing a couple of poles to stabilise things.The popped-up den is pretty large and will take up a good amount of space in a bedroom or front room. You are going to need to move some stuff out of the way. It is really fun to look at and well made. Any unicorn loving child in your house will love it and will soon be sitting in their den playing games. It is slightly trickier to pack up again but can be done in a few minutes with practice.This means that it is a tent that you can put up and down each day if you find it taking up too much space. It has proved a hit in my household.

I was surprised at how good the build was on this lovely pop-up play tent. It practically erects itself once free of its confines - needing just a couple of pole support inserts and Velcro adjustments - and it’s very sturdy on a flat surface. Taking the tent down is also quick and easy, a simple case of twist, collapse, and secure.The tent takes up a fair amount of room – something to think about if space it at a premium – but we thought it would amuse the youngest little girls of our extended family who were staying over during the Christmas holidays. And so it did; and it was also very popular with their six-year-old cousin who declared himself king of the unicorns, with right of abode.It kept the children occupied for days with imaginative play.We’ve had similar play tents before, but for quality, stability, value and ease of construction, this is hard to beat.

This really is a 'pop-up' Unicorn tent and boy does it pop-up quickly. I half expected it as my photography reflectors do the same thing. It's bent in like a figure eight and takes a little time to learn how to put it down and stow it away. One of the children has ASD and she likes to go somewhere quiet when she feels overwhelmed. This is ideal as it is like a little sanctuary for her and she can sleep, rest or read etc in her own cocoon. As soon as she saw it was a Unicorn she was so happy and couldn't wait to try it out. It just fits in her bedroom and she could use it in the garden in the summer with a tarpaulin underneath to protect it. Well made and I think any child would love this as their little den for play,sleepovers, and solitude.

This was fairly easy to assemble although the instructions sheet wasn't that great. The pieces mostly pop up and are easy to add to the main body of the hut. There are a couple of plastic poles that you insert into the frame to keep it upright.Fun factor is high. My niece loved it. It is surprisingly large. If you have a big playroom/bedroom it will fit just fine. It is also good for outdoor play in warmer weather. Big enough for at least 2 kids.

As it says, easy to pop-up into the Unicorn themed play tent, and with a bit of practice, it's easy to put down and store away in the provided bag too. The Unicorn is colourful and looks friendly and happy. The grandchildren love playing in this - it's big enough for two children and small enough for their playroom. It is quite light inside, being that the top cover is mainly white and pale colours. It's a great little play tent

The instructions for this can be a bit complicated but once you decipher them and manage to get the tent set up it’s stable and larger than expected. Better than a plain pop up tent that I used to have as a kid as it’s themed, the details on it are great with the little horn, rainbow and tail. It makes a good play piece that can easily be assembled and dissembled when finished to store away.

Lovely unicorn tent for any unicorn fan, tent also connects to the other tents that’s shown on box which is a great thing for kids to play and keep them busy / occupied, tent twists similar to a figure 8 to put away again and easily pops back up once out the box, tent is a good size, instructions are easy to follow, recommend this unicorn tent for any unicorns fan!

I think this is slightly overpriced for what it is, the tent is rather large easy to put up and put down comes with instructions and once built it is very sturdy and can easily fit 2 to 3 children in comfortably has a pretty design any little girl would love this tent It has 2 entrance areas with a mesh curtain so it's like it has 2 rooms

Asked near neighbours kids to try this out - never getting it back now! They make their own little world in it and make up all kinds of games around that! Its made of pretty tough stuff so should last a while even when (so I I'm told) the dog joined the game and started jumping all over the tent and its occupants! God blesss their energy!

This is so cute! It's bigger than I expected, but fits nicely into my niece's bedroom. It's easy to assemble, it pops up and you need a few poles t keep it up but it's simple. It's so pretty and it's spacious enough for a few kids to play in! It's a little bit different to the other tents I've seen on the market.
