This is the first pair of Binoculars I have purchased in many years. My wife and I are leaving for a Caribbean Cruise in a few weeks and I wanted something for stargazing at night and terrestrial viewing at Port of Calls. I was also trying to stay under $100 which is pretty difficult for a good pair of Binoculars. I am not an expert on optics so my review is not going to be technical.I went through every pair on Amazon under $100 and after reading reviews and google searches these became my choice at $66 here on Amazon. Just for comparison I also purchased a pair of "Tasco Essentials 10x50 Zip Focus Binoculars" for $35 and a pair of "Bushnell PowerView Super High-Powered Surveillance Binoculars" for $60 from Big Box stores.These BARSKA Xtreme View 10x50 Binoculars are phenomenal!These binoculars just scream quality. They have such a nice feel in my hands and the rubber armor makes them seem like they can take a scrape or two. The focus knob and the diopter and ocular adjustments are all nice and snug. One reviewer wrote about when he adjusted the focus knob the ocular adjustment would change, he obviously got a bad pair. These Binoculars stay in focus and the ocular and diopter adjustments all stay in place nicely. the lens caps are decent and fit snug, they are not attached which I don't mind at all. The only downside in quality is the strap, the strap is junk. You will need to shell out a couple bucks for a good strap. Here on Amazon OP/TECH USA sells very nice straps from $10-$20. The case that comes with the Binoculars is decent but not padded. I am going to look for a padded case.The clarity of these binoculars is beyond anything I imagined. The other two pairs of Binoculars were not even close. I have heard of "HD quality"and "3D view" in optics and now I know what that is. It is a full on 3D view. When I first started looking through them I was finding myself getting disoriented when I was looking at a building 100 yards away and a bush at 20 yards came into view.These Binoculars have an incredible field of view. I was comparing it to the other two Binoculars and it was incredible to see how much a difference there was between these at 400 and the others in the mid 300's. I could see so much more of the sky and of the terrestrial objects.I am very pleased with these Binoculars and I am so glad that I found them on Amazon. I will be playing around with them a little more before the trip but the real test will be on the top deck of our ship at night stargazing with my wife!

I chose these binoculars after reading side by side reviews with several other brands. It appears these rated highest among binoculars under $150.00. I took them to Joshua Tree National Park the first week I got them. Everyone in my motorcycle touring group wanted to try them so I passed them around. Everyone said, "Wow these things are great!!" I tried a couple of other 10 X 50 brands but these had the best overall properties. Very clear picture with precise focus adjustments that you would expect from much more expensive binoculars. They also filter out unwanted glare from the sun and cut through the haze. They appear to be very well built and look a little sharper than your average binoculars as well.They are a bit heavy but I'm not going back-packing with them so, the extra weight is not a problem. The strap that comes with them is a joke but the Binoculars themselves get 5 stars!

Optics are Excellent. Holes for strap is too small, could barely get the thin strap through it with out a fight. Stronger, thicker strap I bought didn't even begin to go through. Bag that comes with it is just that, a flimsy bag. I would think for seventy dollars it would be more durable. Take the yellow lint clothe that comes with it and toss in trash. Doesn't clean anything, just leaves yellow lint all over lenses. Use micro fiber clothe. Great clarity even at night. Don't get that double vision you get with smaller fold away binoculars.

The binoculars look fine. However, this is a gift for my brother and I haven't given them to him yet. that is why I only rated them 4 stars.P.S. Gave them to my bro for Christmas and he took them to Mexico. He raved how good they were and thank me over and over. He and his wife would sit on their balcony and watch the boats, birds, etc. I didn't ask what the etcetera was. Added another star and am going to buy another pair for my other brother.

Despite my complaint, I still use and love these binoculars. The image from either eye is very crisp and clear, and the magnification is perfect for sports or for nature watching. The two sides do not align properly though. With both eyes open I get a double image. I could unscrew the two halves and have two great monoculars if i could replicate the focus mech.

This is a most excellent set if binoculars. I use it for night sky viewing and general use too. For the price this item cant be beat. Shipping of the item was quick and showed up at my door a day before it was scheduled. I would recommend these to anyone. Very comfortable to hold as well without getting the feeling that you might drop them.

Zero comma, zero astigmatism. Astronomical objects "snap" into focus. Good eye relief. One can pay substantially more, but not get substantially more than you get from these.. Comfortable for long viewing sessions, easily adjustable. The Barksa 20X80s are similarly fine.

Very good quality for the price. The prisms in these give a high quality image. Very slight chromatic aberration and Petzval field curvature. Very good viewing angle. A worthy replacement for any entry-level telescope. An awesome investment as far as I'm concerned.

These Barska binoculars are great! I use them for nature viewing and the picture is crisp and clear. Quality is top notch. Very easy to focus. Previously purchased a microscope from this company and very happy with that as well.

Bought these to help a family member for secret Santa gift. After he opened it he let us all see. Wow! Literally 3D enhanced and stupid clear sight. I will be buying another set for myself in the very near future.

For around $40 you won't find a better pair of binoculars, very sturdy with exceptionally clear optics. Like others have said the strap sucks and the carrying case is so so, but the actual product is outstanding!

This is a good one, not as powerful as I would like it to be. I am wondering if I can get a stand because when the hand shakes the binocular will lose focus but such is the case with any other!

Great value for thr money. The diopter could be a little tighter as it seems to work out of adjustment. Got these glasses for sportsman use and they are great with the wide angle properties.

I really like these binoculars. Wonderful value for the money. They look good, perform very well AND feel good to the touch. Only complaint is that a nicer strap could have been included.

These are great binoculars. Easy on the eyes, with a very clear picture & good range. A little on the heavy side for me as I have arthritis in my hands, but I really like them.
