PerformanceThe Crucial Ballistix Tactical DDR4 RAM had more than ample performance at both stock and OC settings. The difference in real world noticeability between RAM is pretty much non-existent which is why we run the benchmarks so we can equate the performance into easy to read graphs and numbers. Looking back on those benchmarks and we can definitely see a nice little difference between the stock and OC results where we actually just tightened the timings up a bit. For 2666Mhz RAM, I was happy with the overall performance and when combined with the design and value, you really can’t go wrong.DesignThe name says it all to me, ‘Ballistix Tactical’ and Crucial have hit the nail right on the head.

Unless you're a hardcore gamer, and even if you are, RAM is usually one of those things that you only ever worry about when you're buying/building a PC, or if your PC keeps crashing. In most applications, the best thing RAM can do is quietly work as its supposed to. Most RAM these days does, although in the last 10 years I've had one stick of faulty RAM so the stuff does still exist, for that reason I'd generally recommend sticking to branded RAM and not generic (or those budget high street store brands that cost more than internet...you know who I mean).This RAM has some posh heatsink thing on it, but I've never noticed RAM to get hot so I'm not sure if it isn't just a myth to be honest.

It is a 8GB module.Fitting.It is easy to fit but make sure you get it the right way around. Crucial RAM always fits nicely and clicks home.Looks.For those interested it has a grey heatsink which cover the chips and would look great in gaming rigs.Performance.It is very fast and I immediately noticed a performance gain in phot editing over my old 2000 RAM. Everything was slightly faster and Windows more responsive overall. It was worth the upgrade hassle and taking the cover off !Overall.Fast, good looking and the usual Crucial quality.

Wow, amazing deal, good compatibility and the XMS Profile works fine, cant go wrong with it, 2x4GB for £30 and 2666MHz XMS overclocked profile for DDR4, this is the memory to get, and I know we don't need 16 GB of Ram, but I couldn't help myself, I just ordered 2 of this, and now have 16GB of DDR4 2666MHz for £60, hard to find anywhere. 100% recommended.

Upgraded my system for the most demanding of post production tasks. Renders effectively tripled in speed for Adobe Premiere.My motherboard had to be flashed in order for it to accept this amount of RAM, which wasn't a straightforward process. The RAM sticks have to placed in a certain order but they're not labelled in a simple way to i.e 1-4.

Great Ram, overclocked to just of 3000 no problem on a z270 sli plus board, very quick ram and on userbench my chips were in the top 10% so im chuffed. good price too ill probably buy another stick soon if it drops any more (65 pounds atm)

Popped this into my build to bring me to 16Gb DDR4 RAM. I haven't done any benchmarking or anything, but there's noticeable performance improvement in some specific situations.

No issues. Easy to install. Zero crashes so far. Very stable. PC performance is very good as well

Really good was able to overclock to 3200 easily
