Really great item which we received yesterday.The shipping was quick and even after a mishap with me not being home in the delivery window, I called Richard at the customer services line and he was able to amend the delivery address for me no problem. This was extremely helpful.We tackled putting the Cot Bed up last night and it did take a while, however the look of the item afterwards is great.Putting together the cot is VERY Confusing. It's doable with two people but I would not recommend trying to do this alone as it's tricky and fidgety. I must say the instructions are not as clear as they potentially could be,and I would suggest counting each screw and matching the numbers against the page showing what is included (the screws do not LOOK like the screws on the photo - but the screw count will help match them up - this part is key).There were some previous comments about people missing screws, but all screws etc were in our pack we received.I was concerned after reading some reviews about the paint smell when the item is taken out of the box - I have to say that this was not the case for us. Each part of the item did look freshly painted and I think we spotted 1 small paint chip on the inside of one piece, but every other part was in great condition and there was no paint smell.The draw is on a wooden runner so it's not the usual metal type runners, but this makes it very sturdy.When putting this together you have three options, to but the bed at the bottom option (which is what we agreed matches the photo here on amazon) and it looks fantastic. If you select this bottom option there are TWO pieces of the cot you will NOT have to use for assembly. These are only required if you use the middle or top section for the bed.We are super happy with the Cot bed and are confident that should we have had any issues, the Babymore customer services team (contact details found in the Q&A Section of the item page) would be more than happy to help.The mattress included is honestly fantastic and it's so soft and squishy. I expected it to be quite mediocre but I'm very happy with what we received. PLEASE ENSURE YOU CHECK THE MATTRESS BEFORE TAKING OFF THE SEAL - as I believe this voids the returns policy.

We are expecting two more grandchildren this year. Previously I used a travel cot when baby 1 arrived but some years have passed and I wanted something more 60+ friendly to avoid lowering a sleeping little one to floor level. So I looked around for a cot bed, with a drop side. I'm not very tall and the lack of a dropside can lead to similar difficulties when the mattress is set at the lowest position for an older baby / toddler. Due to the change in safety regs for dropside cots mainly in the USA, there are not so many dropside cots on the UK market. I chose this Eva Sleigh Cot bed as it fitted all my requirements. Delivery was in the promised time scale and by Tuffnells.I was notified of a delivery date but we were going to be away so I tried to rearrange on line - not possible, I rang the courier and it was not possible to rearrange by phone either. I was told a missed delivery card would be left and we could rearrange. When we arrived home on evening of the delivery date the mattress and the cot box were propped by our side gate. There was a hole in the outer cardboard packaging but fortunately the contents were undamaged. It took the two of us just over an hour to assemble - a ratchet was really helpful in tightening the fixing screws as doing them by hand with the enclosed Allen key would have been much more time consuming. The finished cot looks great and exactly as I hoped. All the pieces were enclosed an undamaged. As a previous review advised, we sorted and labelled the piles of different length screws etc before we started and this really helped avoid any confusion especially as they look different to the instruction booklet images. . My only negative comment and the reason for one less than 5 stars, is that the drop side mechanism seems overly complex and rather clunky. We had to resort to watching the YouTube video of assembling this section as the booklet instructions are not that clear. Looking back I wish I had not sold my own childrens drop side cots 30 years ago! I think this cot is a good buy and purchased with the foam mattress ( which is hard not squishy ) mattress waterproof and fitted sheets, was a very reasonable price.

After months of shopping around for a cot I found it really difficult to find one that would fit our nursery. In the end I gave up because they were all at least 10cm too big, or in the case of a sleigh style 15-20cm too big.That was until I found this cot.Initially I saw it for sale on Wayfair but it didnt come with a mattress, that was extra. It would have worked out £4 cheaper to purchase the cot and mattress from Wayfair but having never used them before I was unsure what their return policy was or how good they were should I encounter a fault.I read the reviews and took into consideration the cot may be a little difficult to put together but I was up for the challenge.The cot arrive much sooner than expected.Initially at the unboxing stage everything was very well packaged, though the parts felt a bit flimsy and cheap. This concern was laid to rest once the cot was fully assembled as it now feels very sturdy, all apart from the drop side, it's okay but in my opinion could do with being more sturdy.Building the cot wasnt exactly straight forward and I had to use both the YouTube Video and paper manual to work out what was going on. In all it took me about 90minute to do, and in that time i had take it apart again several times as things were the wrong way round etc.Whilst constructing the cot I found the centre support had a hair line split in the wood and the drop side cot had a poor finish to the right side bar of the drop side, there was a lack of wood filler and paint, clearly exposing the join which made it look unsightly. I contacted the seller who called me first thing the following morning and agreed to send me the spare parts out. The seller was polite and friendly. The parts arrived the next day after speaking with the seller about this.Despite a few niggley problems with this cot at first, which the seller was very quick and willing to resolve, I am really please with it.Overall the cot is lovely, the mattress seems nice also.Only time will tell if the baby likes it too!

Okay I'm writing this review to sort out some of the things said in the other reviews.The smell - it has new item paint smell it is not strong and was gone in a dayThe drop down side - it is a little tricky to use at first again by the second night I can do it no probs it is a bit noisy when it clicks in to place but not overly soPutting together - It took my husband an hour and he had our son in the room with him as I had a headacheThe review with the image of the cot that mattress is set on the highest level.I like this cot I got it as the one I had didn't turn into a bed, it only had one level to put the mattress on and the drop side only came down an inch.This drop side comes down to the level of the top mattress so no lifting baby up over and down if like me to rock your baby to sleep on a chair next to the cot. It was delivered 3 days early meaning I got it in 2 days!All in all very happy with this item and think maybe the other reviews maybe putting some people off who would like this cot a lot

Lovely sturdy cot which I am overall very happy with.I had trouble with delivery with the item being 'misrouted'. The seller replied quickly but couldn't really give me much info and the courier was useless.Finally arriving I was concerned it would be damaged but there was none from the postage.However the cot bed wood does mark quite easily and a few bits arrived with marks, dents or scuffs already present. The seller called me to ensure these issues were sorted and has since sent me the replacement parts.The drawer has a visible screw at the bottom which is quite disappointing as this isn't shown on the images.The item wasn't too hard to put together with two people,though some bits took some effort to make fit!Overall I am happy with the look of the cot bed and think compared to in store the value for money is good. It seems very sturdy and well made once assembled.The mattress is thick but firm and has a cover already on it.

We've had this cot for 4.5 years now. Our daughter had it from birth and only grew out of it at 4 years old. In that time we used it in cot mode on all 3 heights, then the "day bed" mode by taking one side off, and finally we took the other side off too. This last mode isn't one that they give instructions for, probably as taking both sides off makes it a bit less stable, but we found it to be stable enough like that, and it gave my daughter more room as she grew.We've now converted it back to cot mode ready for our next baby, and everything is still working well, including the drop side.For this reason I have to give it 5 stars, as it has lasted well and continues to work as expected in all modes.It's still stable and not creaking, which often happens with some cheap beds after a few years. It is starting to looking a little worse for wear, but that's only due to scuffs and marks from our own misuse.

I bought this cot bed with free mattress for my baby yesterday and it arrived today! My partner is very handy and he spent 3hrs putting it up. The problems we faced were that a hole wasnt drilled properly so a screw got stuck, a faulty screw but luckily it came with spares, the draw needs to be slid in at both ends simultaneously; which is a struggle alone because the cot is very wide and heavy, also after putting up the cot you are left with 2 planks of wood and 2 side support panels to later convert into a bed. The mattress isn't up to the standard of the bed and is very stiff with no cushioning, it resembles a gym mat, in my opinion. Nevertheless,this is the most beautiful durable cot bed I will ever lay my eyes on and it deserves much, much more than 5 stars. I am so impressed and this cot reminds me of the novelty furniture in the grinch movie :)

My wife purchased this bed from Babymore over 2.5 years ago and is still going strong. Its was easy enough to put together, took me about an hour originally and then, 20 minutes to turn in to bed, about a year later. We have now given it to my niece and has been flat packed, made a 20 mile trip and put back together. The only problem was a couple of bolts lost in the move and Tim at Babymore posted replacements out, free of charge, first class. So Great customer service too!Now there was a strong smell of paint when the bed originally arrived. The bed came flat packed on a very hot day and the cardboard packaging was sealed in thick plastic. When I phone to complain,the team were very nice and were happy to send a replacement, but asked if I could leave it outside for 24 hours to air out, to see if that would help. I did and the smell went away.

I did a lot of research on cot beds as I wanted a sturdy safe bed for my baby girl but at a reasonable price. I finally settled on this cot bed after reading the reviews and noticing the awards it had won. The cot bed arrived a lot sooner than the delivery date which was great. It did take around three hours and two people to assemble it. The instructions are fairly easy to follow and once made it does look great. The wood is solid and very eye pleasing and the mattress is very nice. The additional storage space is very handy but be warned that the drawer at the bottom does not have a cover and anything you store in it can be seen.The cot bed is a good size and can be converted to a toddler bed which even though my baby girl is very tall I can see her using until she is at least three.A great addition to our home.

This cot took me and my daughter approx 90 mins to put together, it is easier with two people. A modern expensive looking cot. We wanted a dropdown side but with a very active 6 month old wish we'd gone for a fixed side. The side rattles when kicked, which he does,a lot. Also the side only drops down approx 6 inches not like the old cots that used to drop to the floor, so I don't yet know how good this will be when we lower the base. When cot base is in highest position you can see into the drawer but this will covered when the base is lowered. We only got a foam mattress which is very lightweight. With hindsight I wish we had gone for a more expensive sprung mattress but we can always replace it later if we want.All in all I would recommend this cot bed.

Lovely little cot, the wood still feels a bit plasticky but I expected it for the price.They should inform though that depending of their courier, they do not bring it upstairs if you don’t live in a ground floor house/flat.I had to negociate with the courier that delivered mine and he helped me carry it upstairs but only because he was nice to do so. I couldn’t have carried a 28 kg box plus a quite large mattress on two sets of flights with my little one alone in the house( he feels when I’m not in with him) but beware that not all delivery guys may be as nice and understanding; they said it’s in their policy so maybe this should be specified somewhere.Other than that,it’s a lovely colour and the mattress feels sturdy and comfortable for my son.

We bought this cot bed over 3 years ago now and have just turned it into the bed by removing one of the sides and adding a few extra bits.Apart from a few scratches in the paint from more than 3 years of use, this cot bed has remained as solid as the day we bought it, even surviving being taken apart and being put back together when we moved house.While I was trying to convert it into the bed, I noticed that I must have lost a few screws in the move. I emailed customer services one evening, had an email by lunchtime the next day to confirm my address and had the replacement screws through my letterbox the day after all FREE OF CHARGE. I cannot recommend this product enough and even more so,the company behind it. You will not be disappointed!!!

This is great for the money. Well made and relatively easy to assemble. (Not quite as hard as some other reviewers have said). One of our pieces didn't fit but it was quickly replaced by Babymore. Great customer services.This ticked all the boxed for us. Had some storage, drop side and was the right size. And at a good price. Quality-wise it rivals all the big brands that cost near £500.My only complaint is that the drop side it a definite click. This means that you can't put baby in asleep and pull the side up because it is very loud and the whole cot moves, so you wake them up. So the drop side is only useful for taking them out the cot. Which is a shame as my mum (baby's grandma)really struggles to get baby into bed.

I found the cot very easy to assemble, and it looks good too.The main irritant is putting the side up/down is quite loud, so if you have a light sleeper, this may wake them up.Two other minor grumbles;* The bottom drawer is a bit basic, would be nice if it was on runners as opposed to just sliding wood-on-wood.* The height adjustment - when you've changed the height, the screws leave indents and patches without paint, where the screws used to be. A simple plastic insert would keep it looking fresh. This is exacerbated slightly as the wood is a little soft so when screwing in, it's easy to really dig into the wood.If it was quieter,this would be five stars - the other two complaints are nit-picking.

Really nice baby bed we really like it. Our 8 month son just walking inside the bed by handling. But problem is that then we get this bad to assembled her it was hard. First all screws was in one bag. And to assemble bad we mess up on them. Time for me and my husband takes around 1h. Seconde thing manufacturer's with painting bed was terrible you can see a lot of places where was painted really bad. For 200 pounds i was sure that I will get in a perfect condition . But it wasnt. So it's two problems of the bed. The rest drawer really good. By self bed its really nice. Apart this problems she looks perfect and our small son and 3 years son likes that.They sometimes sleeping together in that bad .
