Easily screwed to the carrier on my American cycle (what sort of company makes cycles without the right lugs?)I previously fitted a much more expensive version of this lock to my electric cycle by first screwing it to a piece of shaped plywood. Bolted (but could have cable-tied) the wood into place.These locks are even more secure if used with a chain (10 GBP from Abus) for attaching to solid objects - and on my new Montague folding cycle I've gone one better - I've attached one end of the chain permanently to the cycle, giving me about the best possible theft protection its possible to get.But, unlike people with D-Locks, my system takes only three seconds to attach and one second to free!

Very happy with my new lock. It is appears to be of good quality and is very convenient to use. Time will tell if it prevents my bike from being stolen.

Just what I wanted for sons new mountain bike - big enough to fit with chunky tyres, unlike the other model I bought.
