I bought this to use in a nebuliser and now having read all the reviews and questions am not sure whether to use it or not. For a start it does not say anywhere on the packaging or on the manufacturers website what the concentration is although I suspect it is 0.9% or 1% as the website says it is similar to tears. What bothers me is that on the info leaflet under "Composition" it says "Sterile, buffered, isotonic and aqueous solution". I am not a chemist but seem to recall from the dim and distant past of the chemistry lab that buffered means a stable solution of an acid and a salt (not necessarily Sodium Chloride). This suggests there may possibly be something else in it other than water and salt.

My wife can have breathing problems sometimes, so we bought a nebulizer on advice from our doctor. There was very little info available regarding which saline to use and my first purchase from a local chemist had to be thrown away after I noticed it contained a preservative that could make things worse for her. However, these ampules don't need any preservatives as each one is individually sealed, so they are perfect for use in a nebulizer.

I was using the bigger ones and often I couldn't open the damned things. Mainly I use it to rinse my dog's eyes when they get a bit gunky. Always works - even when infected (although you have to rinse about 3-4 times a day and keep bedding clean to ensure it works). Never needed antibiotic drops, so perfect for me as I'm not keen on conventional veterinary practices. I always keep some in the car and my bag.

Good quantity at a fair price. We use these for our 2.5 years old - for eye and nasal use. 5ml is just the right 'throwaway' size but is almost impossible to buy from UK pharmacies - they only have 20ml or super-sealed 1.5ml for nebulisers. Also, this is a good quantity in a proper pharmacy pack.

Great little pack. Individual plastic vials separate easily (but won't fall apart) and a twist removes the top seal. I use them for first aid kits to clean grit out of wounds or sand out of eyes. Not sure this is what they are for but its such a handy size.

very GOOD PRODUCT, which was used in a nebulizer. Had double the volume than the previous product I purchase (not from this supplier)which proved much better for using in a nebulizer. Delivered within the time stated. Would buy again.

As a professional voice user my Omron Mini Nebuliser is honestly one of the best purchases I have ever made! I was able to use Saline in it before and after my performances and it made my voice felt smooth and effortless!

Our baby was premature and the NeoNatal Unit used sterile water pods to wash his eyes when dirty. Now we have him home these are perfect for carrying that on until he's older and we can use wipes instead

Recommended by my optician for my scleral lenses. I have keratoconus.Never had a problem with this saline. Plenty if saline for each lense and sone left in case i need to re-insert.
