I've had some really good experiences with Aveeno products and this has been no exception. I'd recommend this with the slight caution that menthol won't be to everyone's tastes!Pros:* My skin felt noticeably smoother throughout the day - particularly around the shoulders, arms (including elbows) and hands* The lotion absorbs quickly, even on hairy arms and doesn't have a greasy leftover feeling* I love the cooling feeling of menthol (but see negatives)Cons:*My wife used the cream and remarked that she didn't quite like the menthol feeling and thought it smelt 'odd'. So I don't know if this is a man/woman difference or just personal preference but it's something to bear in mind.

I picked this up because with winter finally here I wanted something to combat the inevitable dry and itchy skin that comes with it. I was attracted to this product by the fact that it's made from oatmeal and menthol to soothe and combat itchiness with dry skin. The product comes in a 200ml tube, which I like because it gives you more control on the amount of lotion that can be squeezed out. The lotion itself was thicker than I expected but still comes out easily. Although the product is free of artificial perfumes the menthol ingredient does mean that it has a faint scent, which is unusual but not unpleasant (it reminded me of a bowl of porridge with a dab of Vic's vapour rub).

I have to take pain meds every day and now I have an allergic skin rash breaking out. I use Aveeno products because they help.If the rash is severe I need the prescription nasty smelling creams but if it is not so bad then Aveeno really steps in for me. It damps down a slight itching to a bearable itching and if I am lucky the itching totally disappears.I have different Aveeno creams for different body parts and my face.This menthol cream is very good for feet where my skin is not itchy so much but is very very dry. It is helping. The tough part is it needs daily application but when It is used it feels really nice and soothing.I buy Aveeno products so I do put my money where my mouth is!I was

I haven't used Aveeno products before although I have heard it recommended for baby eczema in particular.At 200ml this is a good sized tube that will last a while, especially as I'm mostly using it on my hands. The cream itself is a light consistency which is easily absorbed and doesn't feel greasy. I can use a small amount and still feel the benefits. Often I find that the lighter creams don't provide enough moisture for my hands but this does. You can tell you've used it for quite a long time. Even after washing hands.It has a gentle fragrance (menthol) which you can smell on your hands but it is not overpowering. I'm not sure about the cooling effect. I don't really feel it on my hands but I do notice it if I use it on my legs.

This Aveeno Skin Relief Menthol Lotion comes in a generously sized 200ml tube. I decided to try it as I had a problem with itchiness around one of my eyes. Although I appreciate that the application of cream on or near the eyelids must be treated with care I found this Aveeno cream resolved the issue in my case.In a crowded marketplace this Avveno Lotion marks itself out by its high quality but at a reasonable price. The consistency of the cream is good as it's not too runny and still easy to apply. There isn't a strong fragrance but you can get a hint of the menthol which also has a cooling/soothing effect. Aveeno is a great brand, really good moisturiser at an affordable price point! I use the standard body moisturiser daily so was keen to try this mental version. This moisturiser has all of the benefits you would expect from Aveeno, it is very emollient, sinks into the skin quickly and easily, but has the additional benefit of Menthol which is there not only to provide a small amount of cooling, but primarily to help with itching. I suffer from very dry skin so I'm no stranger to itchy skin. This moisturiser has solved that problem completely, no more itchy or flaky skin for me. The body moisturiser is large enough to last a month using it daily, and is incredibly good value for the positive results.

I’d been struggling with dry, itchy, chafed skin for over a month which was agony. Being an eczema/dry skin sufferer I know every year to expect the same over winter, however, nothing I tried made the itching or pain go away. Until I got this. I tried E45, E45 itch cream, Aqueous cream, Diprobase cream, Lanacane Chafing Gel, Palmers, Body Shop Coconut. I was at desperation levels. I saw the good reviews for this and thought I’d give it a try. Wow, immediately the itch lessened and within 3 days my extremely dry crusty back of my knees was soft as was my chafed thighs (hospital scrubs did that!). All my sore, cracked skin has gone and when I apply it it feels soothing and several hours on still feels moisturised.

I have used Aveeno products before and always found them to be pretty good. The first thing about this is its a large tub so will last a fair bit especially useful in the winter months as I have noticed my hands have suffered a bit with the temperature dropping so quickly when I am out most of the day and evening. It is indeed non greasy and absorbs well into the skin and my hands do feel a lot softer after using this especially around the knuckles and thumbs where dryness seems to be the biggest problem. The menthol smell is not too strong which is something I was a bit concerned about as I didn't want some strong mint type smell all day I suppose the mint type smell does have a bit of a

My skin tends to be quite dry and sensitive to perfumes and laundry additives, which sometimes means I break out in hives. These, of course, itch. I'm already on a regular dose of antihistamines twice a day, so relief is often up to cool water followed by a moisturiser. I've found that due to the menthol, I can skip the cool water as it provides a soothing, cooling tingly action of its own, helping the oats within the lotion relieve the itching even more. It left my skin soothed and moisturised. My skin stayed hydrated well into the next day. The menthol fragrance was surprisingly mild- I had worried that it'd be strong, like Vicks or muscle rub ointments, but it's not.

A nice big sized tube which is easy to use if suffering with stiff hand joints and needing to use a body lotion. I like the fact that not only does it make my skin feel softer and not as taunt even in cold weather but also takes away any itchy from wearing woolly scarfs or jumpers. Sometimes they make me itch around the neck or around the top of shoulders but using this lotion with it containing the menthol it seems to stop it before I have red raw skin from itching. Seems to sink in easily and would buy this for sure for winter months as it seems to work well for me. First I had heard of a body lotion containing menthol but it seems to do something and pricewise not too expensive for the size

This lotion is pure luxury. I am a diabetic and suffer from incredibly dry feet. I have used all sorts of different moisturisers, most of them work but I wasn't happy with them.This lotion is incredible. I put a generous amount on my foot, rubbed it in and within seconds it had all soaked in. The lotion does have menthol in it but you can't really smell it at all. What I mean is it's not smacking you in the face with menthol. It is very subtle and barely noticeable.The cream is very thick and once it has soaked in, doesn't leave much of a greasy feeling on the skin. I'll keep on putting it on my feet, and may even try it on my legs. But will definitely buy more.

I suffer with psoriasis. Although I wouldn't necessarily describe my skin as itchy, my skin gets flaky and this irritates. This product makes my skin feel well moisturised and the menthol is refreshing - it reduces the irritation, particularly at the time it normally feels most irritable (after washing).I first came across this whilst shopping in a Sainsbury's store whilst visiting friends. I was disappointed that it wasn't available in any of my local Sainsbury's stores or any other shops local to where I live. I'm very glad that it is available on Amazon.Delivery was rapid.

Nice product that makes skin feel very soft and moisturised. The product is menthol medicated and has a fairly strong menthol smell... my dog noticed the smell as soon as I squirted some out and clearly thought it was minty, so tried to lick the cream off my hands... anyway, this really helped me with the dry skin I have on my feet especially and has really soothed the itching I had due to flaky skin.The cream itself is a nice consistency that rubs in generously and absorbs well and is a fleshy/peachy colour. The tube is a good size and should last a while.

This is a nice big tube of moisturiser. It helps to relieve soreness and itching and soothes dry skin. I have been using it on my hands and face. It absorbs really quickly and does not leave a barrier coating on the skin as it absorbs on contact. My skin feels soft and supple when I have used this and it does add moisture. When it is applied it has a menthol smell to it which disappears after about five minutes.I will carry on using this as my skin does feel much better for using it and seems to protect my skin from the wind.

I have quite bad azema on both my legs and have used the standard Aveeno cream for a long time now. I find it better than the DoubleBase prescribed by my Dr.I've not seen this version before and - after a few weeks of using it - I can report it works just as well!The menthol does provide an instant cooling effect but I don't find it lasts very long. It does help the cream spread easily.If you've not tried this brand before then I'd 100% recommend you give it a try! Really works for me!
