I'm not a gamer, so I can't talk about this mouse's abilities in that area, but I am a Power User / Motion Graphics designer.I can say that all of the features that were built for gaming superiority also lend themselves to daily PC use.• In terms of comfort, the mouse is definitely on the larger side. This is a big mouse, and a bit heavy, but I actually like that.It is designed for gaming, but is also very comfortable for everyday use because of its design, it is just so comfortable.• Battery life is good for what I do.So far, I have been impressed with battery life considering all the RGB lights that this mouse has. Maybe around 7-8 hrs of continuous usage it went from 100% to 50%.I don't know about gamers, but for me - with 6-8 hours of routine mouse use a day, I usually get a couple days before I think to check the charge level. Then I just through it on the handy charger overnight, and I'm good for a couple more days. The charging dock is great too – it is so easy to use that I don't even have to think about charging it• The Asus Armoury software allows you to fine tune every aspect of the device, from RGB lighting, DPI and button configuration, to setting up different profiles and macros, and more. The first version of the software that I received was buggy and unstable but it was quickly patched and has been rock stable since. The software also doesn’t eat a lot of memory so it can safely run in the background if you wish to.✔ Pros:+ Outstanding build-quality+ Attractive design+ Fairly decent side button placement+ Very comfortable for people with larger hands+ Customisable RGB light+ Wired performance is pretty good✖ Cons:- No complaintsI've had an excellent experience with this mouse, having owned it for almost 2 years.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

As a gamer of so many decades since the 80's (Speccys) And someone who spends at least 14 hours a day online I need decent gear to keep up with me.The kinda person I am is in the last 6 months ive invested heavily on hardware, Samsung 970 Pro 1TB M.2 C:Drive, 64gb ram, new Logitech G910 KB, New 4K 28inch monitor (Next year going bigger) and a new RTX OC card, So I pay for high end hardware but expect it to be ready for me when I need it, I saw this mouse on offer (ROG PUGIO) and I know how amazing ROG stuff is and Ive never had one of their mouses so I thought id try this mouse.Well its thinner than the old Logitech gaming mouse I had but this is really smart!its got everything and more than I will ever need at at 7000DPI's thats spot on for gaming...The mouse is not only good for gaming its fantastic for video editing which I also do, one of the other niceeees with this mouse is the colors (RBG) if you're the kinda person who likes your PC and hardware to lightup this is you!Its also very fast and VERY customisable! It deffo is a step in the right direction for me, OH I almost forgot, NO DRIVER needed which is a plus for me as the old Logitech mouse had to have a driver and I didnt like the old software on it...This is a simple "Plug-in" and play mouse, No hassle and would also work amazing on a laptop.OVERALL 9/10.

Bought this as I had the ROG Pugio mouse and Asus laptop so just wanted same brand HW. Firstly, this thing is big, it's about the size of a 17inch laptop, maybe deeper, the pad has 2 USB 2.0 cables that are combined in a fabric loom. One is for the LED lights, the other is to power the single USB socket on the pad. The underside as a grippy surface with ROG logo and various garb, the surface has a ROG logo, and then there are 15 LED regions. The new Asus Armoury Crate software replaces the previous software, it largely works, you can manage all your ASUS peripherals from a single place, including synching the lighting effects. However, I haven't quite figured out how to get it to synch and set the same lighting effect on startup,it seems I always have to enter the software and manually synch which is a little annoying. Another thing I noticed is that when I connect it to a different USB port, the Armoury Crate software can't see the devices to set the lighting synch which is odd.Anyway, the gaming surface itself is excellent, there is no slippage or misreads, when paired with a gaming mouse then you can tell the difference in accuracy and feel. Overall I'm happy with the hardware, but as usual the software could be improved, the gripes are very minor though, hopefully they can sort this out.

Bought the ROG STRIX CARRY and using it with an Asus Rog Strix Scar III.Description:Medium to small size. Perfect for claw and finger tip positions. Not good for full palm. Very light and ergonomic for said positions.Likes:>highly accurate> works with a wireless usb connector> good battery life (used for 5-6 hours a day for 2 weeks and still active)> multiple dpi settings> custom dpi setting with armoury crate> replaceable click mechanism. (2 extra provided)Dislikes:> Does not have RGB or asus aura lighting.> have to run extra software (asus armoury crate) for custom dpi settings> when using game profiles in the armoury crate the mouse lags when you minimize/maximise the game to turn on discord for example. This happens because the software switches the dpi setting for each game and windows (so you have to keep them the same...what a hassle!)> should have been bluetooth and 2.4 g compatible... its 2020! You still have to plug in the small wireless usb connector take space of one of the ports on the pc!Verdict: i will keep this mouse and not return it because even with the cons mentioned above the performance of the device is very very good. (Just dont minimize your games to much! ;)

Fits medium-large hand size. Very easy to grip and have not encountered slipping as some people have mentioned but i dont have sweaty hands. Sensor is not the best for fps and very obvious stutter is visible when watching the cursor try to track very small adjustments. However so far i've found it more then enough of an upgrade from the logitech 502 which has a better sensor but not as comfortable for my hand size. Button clicks have a little more resistance then i would like but when gaming it hasn't become an issue. Only other mouse i had a similar click experience was the mad catz 5. Not bad but could be more sensitive. Side buttons need improving as clicking on them needs to be initiated from certain angles, the middle button8888 for example just wont click without holding your thumb back quite a bit and pressing its rear part. Would give 5 but for these small problems.Great weight, design, software is fine, easy to customize colour and macros, dpi etc. For the price should have a better sensor is my only real complaint.

First off recently I have tried lots of mice. Including the Razer Hyperflux, logitech MS2, Corsair Darkcore and Asus Spartha. I feel like goldilocks and kudos to Amazon with putting up with my returns. The Spartha straight off the bat feels like a tol quality bit of kit. At first try it feels comfortable and the ring finger rest feels bespoke made for my hand. The included charging / pairing stand is also very well made and looks great on my desk. You get a little screwdriver and spare omron switches but I see this as a bit of a gimmick personally.I have two big gripes with this mouse. First is the weight, it's truly weighs a ton and lugging that round a mouse pad on competition would be grueling.I game fun and dont play online so this is less of an issue for me. Second is the price, I got it for £85 but have seen it places for well over a ton. At £85 you can over look its flaws but at sah £120 you simply couldn't.

-Ok the wireless is tricky to get working.-You need the mouse and wireless dock.to be running the same firmware and the software to be the latest.. as they fix bugs, tracks really well on hard textured surface with little friction 'no scrapeing' or 'scratching' from the base of the mouse to the mouse mat which is perfect.-side buttons are designed with some movement for durabilty, so do not be afraid about heavy presses they'r designed for it. They'r not a press hazzard either as they require a little force to be pressed!-Wireless mode works fine and can be used while charging which is brilliant, asus's current software and firmware are currently working but could use the interface tweaking as changing dpi sometimes wont allow the typing of it so you have to use slider 'not really a big issue' buttons are replacable and really eaay to take apart!!! Just remeber don't remove the little sticker that says warrently!!

Mine arrived with the box covered in dust so I assume Amazon don't sell many of these! Inside the very dramatic box was a loosely rolled mat and some rather nice ROG stickers. The surface is excellent. There is very little friction. Compared to a cloth mat it feels somewhat lighter and more responsive. As far as noise is concerned, the mat is some sort of silicon material so it's extremely quiet.Having used the mat for some time, I have to say it is the best I have ever used. It just seems to last forever and is very easy to keep clean. Just throw it under the tap to wipe dinner off and it's ready for use again in minutes. The most remarkable thing about it is that it hasn't degraded.I am a heavy PC user but this mat is just as frictionless today as it was when I bought it.I would have no hesitation buying another should anything happen to this one.

A heavy mouse but definitely my go to mouse for gaming. I have a few gaming mouse and this one stands out as being the most durable and weighty of the bunch. The side buttons are well positions and an interesting form factor that I actually prefer to my corsair mouse. The only draw back is that because of the wireless technology being so good / responsive it does require charging almost daily with heavy use... The upside to this is that it can be plugged in with the provided cable that securely attaches to the mouse turning it into a wired version. I would also say that having used only wired mice previously it is really hard to notice any obvious delay with this wireless implementation.Overall it has become my preferred mouse for gaming and I would recommend it.

As usual I've done my excessive research reading hundreds of reviews over weeks before making my purchase. Turns out it wasn't for nothing.Love the armoury config, fit in my palm, rgb options, shortcuts, profiles, battery life and lowkey look with rgb off. This is replacing a razer mamba 2012 (wireless) and logitech g500 (wired). My grip: thumb on side buttons, index on left click, middle on scroll wheel, ring on right click. Was missing the part where I could rest my pinkie on my recent mice, so I don't drag it by the mouse. I got to like that a lot on my old raptor gaming m1.Initially I experienced an interference cause of a cheap rii wireless keyboard, that I have since replaced with a Drevo Blademaster and the issue went away.

So I bought the ASUS ROG Pugio mouse before buying this Evolve, but I returned it due to the drivers not working at all with the mouse. In the end I had too uninstall the driver software just too be able to get the mouse buttons too click. But this ROG Evolve mouse works without issue. I don't think it's as nice at the Pugio but it is slightly bigger so fit's my hand better. I liked the glowing ROG symbol on the Pugio and wish it was on my Evolve but at the same time I need a mouse that works. The Evolve is very responsive and clicks nicely, I like the changeable cover, being left handed this was 1 reason why I went with it as I was able to set it up for my comfort. All in all very nice mouse, solid 8 out of 10.

A lot of people complaining this mouse is too small but for those who have slightly bigger hands then this mouse is perfect, with this mouse my hand does not cramp, the thumb and ring finger sit nicely within the finger rests that the design of this mouse supports.I always prefer a heavy mouse even with FPS's and i find this mouse very accurate and easy to move around, the fact that it can be wired or wireless really helps too.Do not be put off by bad reviews of its size and weight in first person shooters, it is down to preference and what is comfortable, i still score top ranks with this mouse and can play for hours in MMORPG's.

So I got my hands on this today and it has not disappointed!Even though the size is noted I hadn't quite realised just how big this would be, I have no concerns about charging my phone and using this pad at the same time. For the size of it I wasn't expecting this to be as light as this is, which is great as I have a glass desk. The rubber underside stops it from skidding around and does exactly what it shouldThe RGB lighting is stunning and that's before I've even had a played around with the customisation.I would recommend this product for someone who wants an RGB pad and could uterlise the QI charging

I am happy with this mouse. I am left-handed and it fits very well. I have not had an issues with in the last two months. The connection to the computer and installation of the Armory control program was very simple. The mouse has many LED colour options, but I have turned them off. It is possible to tweak the mouse responsiveness in many ways, and I set hi high and low accuracy modes (DPI) to my own taste. For the money I am impressed; the build quality seems robust. There are side buttons for adding extra function, but are magnetically attached and can be easily replaced by a blank side panel - very clever.

Truly one of the bests! Good small form factor.I had many gamer mice throughout my gaming years, and I always struggled to find the best. This isn't the one yet, but it's the closest I ever had, and I had Corsair, Razer, ROG, CM and cehap ones.My only concern is the side buttons are too close to the surface, and they also have a very small resistance so in my first few days I was clicking them accidentaly. Even when I am writing this review, I went back to the prev page once, but it isn't a thing that I can't get use to though.P.S.: I have sausage fingers, so others might find it easier to use.
