As there are no reviews yet I wanted to add some early impressions. I'll return and update if these change.Background:I am upgrading from a Pallit GTX 970 that was intalled in my custom PC. I have I6700k, 32 GB RAM. IO bought this card when it was first listed for 475, which at present is cheaper than the 2070 Supers listed.InstallationInstallation was easy--the card is a little thicker and longer than my old one but fitted in the case. Once I had realised I needed to take a plastic guard off the connector installation was very easy.The card has a backplate and a single stripe of light that can be seen through a case window. These things don't bother me.NoiseSo far it is slightly quieter than my old card,and I haven't noticed any coil whine, which is a blessing. Under load the noise comes from the fans and is certainly audible but relatively deep in time which I prefer. Forget the 0db marketing term...when in use you'll know the fans are working hard.Power.This connects with a 6 and an 8 pin, where my previous card was 6 and 6. Happily one of my power cables has an extra '2' piece that just joins with one of the 6's. I have a 650W PSU and have noticed no problems.Performance:OK--this is the bit that matters.Coming off a 970 I was hoping to be able to max everything out and achieve 60+ FPS. I have a gysncy monitor so don't need to match a specific target.The performance is roughly 2.2-2.6x my old card in everything I have so far tried. All test below are at max, with only settings I dislike turned off, such as chromatic abberation. I did run some with 4xmsaa rather than 8, but with the 970 I never used any msaa on these titles.The Witcher sees the greatest bump. With everything on max, including hairworks, a typical scene gets arround 80fps at 1440p. Hoping this stays above 60 in the most challenging areas of the game.Dirt Rally 2. Previously I had to make compromises to hit 60, now eveything is on max and it is comfortably over the 60 fps, ofetn around 80.Forza Horizon 4. The built in benchmark on Ultra (without motion blur) got 50fps average, with a min of 43. Now I get 136 average with a min of 124.GTA V has every single option on max and stays above 60 during the benchmark for the vast majority of the time-with just the odd dip into the 50s. Just turning down a single intense setting could fix this.Ashes of the singularity was 31.6 average on the 970, and is now 72.93D Mark timespy went from 3544 on the 970 to 9024 now.ConclusionIn conclusion, the performance increase is in line with what you'd expect from the increase in Terraflops over the 970.It's great to be able to max everything out, though to be fair the 970 has been out for years, and a 2.5x gain for quite a lot more money does imply Nvidia have been resting on their laurels a little.I'm expecting that this card will go toe to toe with the new console generation, with the added ability to tweak settings to my preference and stick at 1440 rather than striving for 4k.If 4K is your thing, I'd expect you'll still need to make some setting tweaks to hit it. I haven't yet tested any raytracing games.Hope that is some help.

Easy to install because it takes all its power from the motherboard, there's no need for additional power direct from your PSU. It will cope with most games at 1080p I doubt it'll cope consistently well with resolutions above that. If you want a graphics card that can cope with 1440p or higher you are going to have to pay for an Nvidia RTX 2060 Super or higher as the GTX 16xx series even with large amounts of memory and overclocking won't consistently cope with the demands of fast paced, high resolution and high refresh rate games.The analogy I'd use, if you expect more from such a humble card is like trying to run a 1.0 litre VVTi engine with a bolt on Turbocharger on nitroglycerine and expect it to repeatedly beat a Porsche 911,

Put against a standard size Dual Evo graphics from Asus it is noticeably smaller but obviously not is small as an Asus Phoenix. It sits nicely in a Cooler Master Cavalier "Heritage" or "Legacy" mid tower case from the Early 2000's which by modern standards hasn't got that much space in it and the limitations are caused by immovable drive cages. The compact size meant I didn't have to take out all the other PCIE cards to have enough room to fit it without gaining shredded knuckles!On the operating side it is when unstressed silent, and under stress testing virtually silent, certainly not adding any noise over the five 120mm Corsair and the remaining one 80mm Akasa "Heritage" fan that reside in case that increase in noise at the various components warm up under stress test conditions.

This was an upgrade to a GTX 750 Ti card which was struggling with my new 3840x2160 monitor. It card is slightly bigger than I was anticipating but it just squeezed in to my BitFenix micro-ITX case. I use linux mint and I forgot to upgrade the Nvidia proprietary drivers before installation so I initially got a software rendered 640x480 display (which is slightly disconcerting on a 43" monitor), but after an apt install of the latest drivers (440.44 for me) and a reboot everything is working well.I'm only using the card for standard desktop work most of the time with a bit of light gaming. So far the desktop has been very smooth.

Most reviews seem to slate this card, but it has one particular use in which it works great; if you need to keep power draw low!I've put this in a prebuilt Dell 3020 MT paired with an i5-4590, 16gb ram, 120gb ssd and a 500gb hdd. This card is perfect as it draws all the power from the motherboard so (for my pc at least) a psu upgrade wasn't needed (and therefore this worked out cheaper than the AMD equivalents (even if they perform better overall). I haven't had a problem consistently hitting 60fps at 1080p in any title with predominantly high settings (the most recent games I play are Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017), GTA V, and COD BO3- all of which run amazingly).

Upgraded from an exceptional old Nvidia 570GTX which came from my old PC build and was doing an adequate job until i tried to play Apex Legends and in game only got about 30fps and stuttering on low settings.Now it maxes out at the preset limit of 144fps on high settings, and temperatures were only hitting about 62C.This increase in fps and no stutter has definitely improved my gaming experience.At first i thought it was DOA as i plugged it in, switched it on and the fans didn't spin. This is totally normal as its 0db technology means it will only spin the fans when needed meaning you can have it totally silent if all your doing is surfing the net.Looks the part with a sleek cooler design,

I got this for one of my video editing machines, not a gaming machine, as the card that was inside it died. I didn't need anything crazy powerful but wanted to get something that would do the job for a few years for a modest budget. Mostly I edit in DaVinci Resolve but have also been testing it in Premiere Pro, Insta360 Studio and Blender.Surprisingly, it didn't require a 6 or 8-pin power cable from the power supply and consumes less power than the GTX 760 it replaced. It's much quieter than that was, too.Sure, it's not going to compete with higher-end cards like the RTX 2080, but for the money, it's a very decent card. If I were to buy again, it'd definitely be in the running,

ASUS Dual GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB OC Edition GDDR6 EVO with two powerful Axial-tech fans.Haven't had any issues with this card ,plugged it in to a Tomahawk Max board with a 3700x cpu and it's been great with all my pc games ,watching tv ,browsing e.t.c.Got this instead of an equivalent AMD card due to less power draw and good specs for what you get .I prefer AMD's software to Nividia's ,seems a bit too invasive for my liking but you can stick with just the drivers if you want.Though even that has problems with confusion coming from two different drivers packages available.Also Win10 hijacked my driver install and i had to do some tweaking so i could do my own driver install.But overall a

I previously had an RX 570 (two actually), but found them to be rather noisy; even when applying the Radeon Chill feature. Yes, the RX 570 is the faster card, but I just couldn't deal with the noise; especially as I have to occasionally write reviews on certain gaming products.With my dual screen setup (one for the game, and the other for my word-processor), I can now type away without listening to the constant whirl of fans. In most games, I get over 60 frames per second, which when you consider both my monitors have a refresh rate of 60Hz, anything over, is pretty much overkill.So, if you're looking for a quiet casual gaming card suitable for mid to high 1080p gaming,

Should be able to cope with all but the most extremely intensive rendered gaming titles. Quiet in operation down to the way in which the fans are designed and controlled, only when put under high loads do the fans operate, and then they don't increase the noise within the case noticeably. Not a particularly high power draw card. Run in a system that previously had a draw of 375 watts on a 550 watt power supply I moved to a 750 watt unit to give me a 200 watt minimum head room with this card under a gaming load.

Performance is really good overall at 1080p (max resolution of my current monitor), so can't say how it manages at higher res. Very quiet and cool, most demanding game I have atm is Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and it gets warm and fans are still quiet over the game sounds.Only very slight niggle and it's not that bad at all is shadow quality, but only get better if you are prepared to spend more bucks and I wasn't!Overall very good card and no regrets buying it!

Bought for an older 1150 board that was running a 750ti and this is a huge upgrade. Upgraded the cpu at the same time (i7) and this 5 year old PC now flies. Don’t expect to be playing latest games on Mac and getting huge FPS, but most play on medium and the FPS is perfect. It you want max, you’ll need to double your budget. For its price, this is an excellent upgrade.

Knocked a star off because it was specifically advertised as being suitable for compact cases, yet the PCB is rather wide and I was finding it making contact with side of the case I was using and actually shorting the whole system out. Some thick tape resolved this but yeah, the card is taller than the bracket so just something to keep in mind.

It is the most performing video card that you can put on any old PC, without having to change the power supply or anything else, in full hd everything runs perfectly with an old phenom II 955 processor, and it can be recovered even when I decide to change the motherboard, cpu and ram.

Husbands xmas present and he loves it. So much smaller and more compact yet so much more powerful. He's back to gaming wirh decent graphics. No power cord was needed with this card, just slots in ready to go. We've always bought geforce cards as they're great value and long lasting!
