I've recently gotten back into running more regularly and have realized just how important it is to have the right style shoe. If you're like me and over-pronate, this shoe's for you! There is good support throughout and plenty of cushion while running. They're solid without being too heavy. From my first run, I noticed how much more supported I was and no longer felt the tiredness or ankle, knee, and calf pain that used to be typical for me before I bought a stabilizing shoe. Asics do run narrow compared to other brands. I'm usually an 8.5 and have feet that are a bit wide. The 8.5 mediums were too snug in the foot box--my left foot toes became a bit numb. I swapped out the originals for size 9s instead,

Like most of us I have been wearing workout clothing all day during this crazy virus time. Instead of my normal arched sandals, I've only been wearing flip-flops. My back started hurting recently and I found I needed a pair of sneakers with stability as my arch is now collapsing while I walk. I found these in the running store for $119.00 - too much!The color is beautiful (rose gold) and when the price dropped on Amazon, I knew I had to have them. They run a bit small - I took an 8.5 instead of the 8 which is normal. They fit just right and the stability is amazing. I can actually see my foot try to turn inward and the arch of this sneaker holding it in place.Well worth the money if you are

I love these shoes. I started running 5 months ago and I have tried several different types of shoes. I had even gone to get fitted for shoes twice. There was always something I didn’t like...until these shoes. I was looking for shoes to help with my PF and on every list I saw, ASICS was the top of the list. I looked for the best ones for my stride and my injuries (bad knees). Ran with these 3 times and each time gets better and better. No more PF, no more knee pain, no shin splints...these shoes are fantastic. I actually just got another pair to put away in case ASICS tries to get rid of these. I hope they don’t!

I am not a runner but I do love long walks and have a serious pronation problem! I had the Saucony Guide 8 and walked them into the ground. I tried their new editions of that style and they just were t working for me. I did a ton of research and gave these a try. I’m usually an 8 and ordered an 8.5 based on reviews, definitely a perfect fit. My foot is a tad narrow so it felt a little tight at first but I took a 3.5 mile walk straight out of the box and they were PERFECT. I am so happy. My knees and ankles are so happy. My back. These are perfect and so stable. So thrilled to have good walking shoes again!!

The shoes overall provide good support, I was getting sore around my big toe with other less supportive shoes. The color is very cute. But I do find them too firm all around, the tongue of the shoe is quite firm and I found it poking the dorsum of my foot, it was a little uncomfortable after the 3rd mile but not enough to make me stop- I did end up with a blister when I was done from it pinching- I found it odd. we will see. I do however like the support and my feet are not as sore from runs compared to the last pair of shoes I had for a couple weeks (I was trying a more flexible light shoe).

I was pleased that I was able to find this shoe in a women's size 13N! This shoe runs a little small (which I knew before purchasing) so you definitely have to size up. The width seems true to size but the length is a little small. I have been running in the Asics GT shoes for years and was very dissatisfied with the GT2000-7. I started to think I was going to have to find a new brand of shoe to buy. I was pleased that Asics make changes to the shoe when they updated to the GT2000-8...now I can keep purchasing and wearing my favorite running shoe!

I have always worn the cumulus and they stopped carrying the cumulus in a 12.5. I was so bummed! I am a nurse and on my feet and it was horrible when they stopped making my favorite shoe. I noticed my colleague also wore Asics and asked which she wore, and she said GT2000 so I grabbed this pair. They sat in the amazon box for over a month while I sulked about not having the cumulus anymore and this week I finally opened them. They are so comfy and light weight! Feet still felt great after wearing at work for 8 hours. Will buy again.

I have been using Asics GT 1000 -5 for about 5 years (I have 2 pair) for walk/running and working out. My 2nd pair was starting to wear so started looking to see if I could buy a 3rd pair. Of course there is little choice in color at this point since such an OLD model. I decided to try same 'family' but more updated and I could actually find a mostly 'white' shoe. I REALLY like this model. Only worn around the house so far. I like the lower 'profile' around my ankle and they fit great. I think I am keeping them :-).

As a nurse my feet take a beating, I picked the Asics GT2000s when being fitted at an athletic shoe store, I have been wearing them for 5 years, started with the 3rd generation and now up to the 8th, I have accumulated 7- pairs over the years. They are the most comfortable sneaker and I have had no issues with my plantar fascitis. I love all of the color options and will be wearing these shoes for many years to come. Thanks Amazon for making them so affordable too.

Even though I have used Asics for many years and this model for half that time, i still get nervous purchasing them online. You never quite know how they will fit long distance. Happy to say these are outstanding. Just as cushy, perfect fit and the heel is not as built out as the 7 was. I get the W due to the drastic changes Asics have made over the past several models and narrowing their whole line. Looking forward to trying the conning season's newer model too.

I have a narrow long foot, 10.5 AA. I have tried, and returned, other brands and nothing compares to this shoe. I put it on and can wear it immediately for activity with no break in period required. It feels like it is giving my foot a hug. I use these for volleyball because I cannot find narrow volleyball shoes. I also use them for light running. I have had a really hard time finding these shoes, so when I find them available, I scoop up a pair right away.

I used to wear ASICS. I have been wearing Brooks for about 3 years. I thought I’d give these a try. I received them this morning. Went for a 1 mile walk. It felt like my sock was folded under my heel. It was not. I loosened the shoe, I tightened the shoe, and I adjusted the sock again. By the time I got home, my foot was on fire and my arch felt like it wanted to cramp. I will stick with the adrenaline gts and ghost. LOVE the color. Returning.

These are very cute and ASICS have been my go to for running, cross training, and lifting. I’ve tried many shoes over the years and these never disappoint. For some reason these are a little tiny on my wide food. Usually, I can get away with a regular width but these are alittle snug so if you’re debating on getting a wide, do it. I’ll be wearing these around the house until I break them in a little bit before running or hitting the gym.

Initially the shoe seemed shorter (less depth) in and around the heel. There was some slippage, but as I tied my shoes well and made sure to push my heel back, it seems good. I think the shoes started to shape better around my foot after wearing them more. I do have very narrow feet and use orthotics. They look great and I have received compliments on how they look. They make me want to walk:)

These are the best running shoes I have ever owned. I jog 5-10 k a day and these are very supportive. The description doesn’t include a width as ASICS come in different widths and I am a size 10 or higher in shoes but ordered a 9.5 and they are perfect, as I prefer my runners to be snug. But a 10 would have worked well to. That’s why I put “fit as expected”. The color pink is just beautiful.
