I love these runners. Now on my 5th Pair. I deviated to a pair of Saucony Guide 9's which I discarded after one 5k run as they just weren't right. The GT-2000's are light and give great support to over pronators like me. I run between 20k and 35k per week and these are ideal. Only criticism is that my left big toe always wears through the mesh on the shoe after 300 miles or so, which is a sign that I need to change them for a new pair.

Great shoes but beware - Asics seem to have changed their sizing and these now come up too small. Appears to be a common problem when doing a search. Recommend getting a half or full size bigger than you normally would. Have had to return mine and waiting on the refund to replace with a bigger size. Really annoying especially as Amazon appear to have lost my return which was placed in an Amazon locker.

Really good running shoe. Never spent more than £40 on running shoes previously and stuck with nike and adidas. Was told i needed a shoe for an overpronator and heard good thing about these. Really comfy and great cushioning. They seemed to give me another gear when running. More so due to comfort and cushioning on the foot. Definitely sticking to Asics from now on!.

Fantastic. I had the old Asics Gt200-v2 in a 9.5 and was worried about sizing for these but it was fine. They were a slight bit looser around then ankle than before, but I've grown to find this more comfortable. Could just tighten the laces if not though.Note: I paid £75 or so for these in Jan so I don't know why the price is currently sitting at £90+...

I've had the same old running shoes for years and always thought they were fine. I got these as mine got a hole in them and instantly realise what a fool I was for not getting an up to date modern pair of running shoes. So comfortable and improved my times and my knees no longer hurt! Wish I got them years ago.

Superb shoes. Initially felt tight, but after use it expands slightly to fit the contour of your feet. I used to have pain in my feet after running, but with Asics dont notice any pains.Wish I had bought this shoes much earlierUpdate - after seven months of wearing the shoes its torn. quality is pretty bad.

2nd pair, 1/2 size bigger than normal trainers (prob normal for some runners). Instantly comfortable, no issues, great support and feel. Many running friends recommend these for roads, and I can only agree. Fantastic pricing too.

I had Nimbus 17's previously and they suffered badly from wear (a common complaint about the 17's). The GT's certainly seem more rugged so its a case of far so good (although only done about 15 miles).

Now on my 5th pair. Great for over pronation runners. Like others suggest, go 0.5 size larger than your largest normal shoes you own. Also wear good socks and break them in with a few shorter runs.

1 thing is I love ASICS so these shoes are for my plantar faciatis and always work well, shame as i work for Amazon, the life span is reduced to only 3 months due to the mileage whilst picking.
