While there were significantly cheaper versions available, this was the widest I could find. It also benefits from having 9 rails; a rail more than the cheaper brand I considered.The straightforward packaging comes with a template thoughtfully printed on the side of the box. it was a simple task just to tape the template level against the wall and drill through the circles marked. a pair of plastic fittings clip over the base to smarten up the wall screws. The product description acknowledges it's retro "Original 1958" design heritage. I absolutely love the pure simplicity of it, there's nothing frivolous to go wrong or even to date it.This 120 model was the largest capacity dryer of this style I could find.

When we moved into our new build I realised I wanted more space in our utility and wanted to make use of the "dead space" on the walls. We have a counter in there and enough space to fit this on the wall, with a family of 4 (grown to 5 since buying it) I wanted as much drying space as I could have.This thing has been used on a daily basis, it is rare that this does not have clothes on it, and I have been shocked by just how well this has coped.I have tried to be a little careful with it, mainly because I am more worried about the wall fixings (we used our own for plasterboard walls), than I am about the product. I think I paid full price for this item. I always try to wait for a bargain and for the price to drop. Unfortunately my tumble dryer broke down and I could not afford to replace it, so I had no choice but to purchase ASAP.After reading reviews and taking a chance on purchasing this airer I am so pleased I did even at full price.Very easy to fit. Ingenious.The box is a template. Once this is lined up and the holes marked off its just four screws (that obviously need to be drilled and plugged).The airer feels pretty lightweight, however, I have dried jeans, jumpers, bedding on it since I had it only a week.I have placed mine in a utility room above a window that also has a radiator below it.

I bought this as I was fed up of constantly having a clothes airer taking up floor space in my flat, and I'm very pleased with it. It looks neat when folded back against the wall, and is sturdy enough when pulled out that I'm happy to hang relatively heavy items e.g jeans on it. It's particularly ideal for drying my baby's clothes as one washing machine load of his clothes will all fit easily. It is not so helpful if you are trying to dry things like sheets and towels, it's definitely more suited for clothes.Overall really pleased, definitely a great solution if you are trying to save floor space.

I have been looking at one of these for a while but they always struck me as too flimsy.This is great - fitting was easy although be warned if you are going into a stud wall you really need to be able to hit the studs on at least two of the 4 screwholes. I have the bottom two screwholes in some heavy duty raw plugs (for stability) nd the top two taking the weight.The horizontal bars are stiff enough to hold any clothes you will hang on them. I pput a couple of coats on hangers increasing the point loading and there was minimal flex in the middle.Great dryer

Bought this product to replace Barbantia one that was constructed from plastic and had broken at the load bearing point. This one is made from aluminium and is very securely attached to the wall. The bars easily hold a whole washing machine load with plenty space between to let the air through. The mechanism and construction are of extremely high standard and it appears to be built to last. I use it in a covered undercroft which allows the wind through but keeps the rain off. The laundry dryer works a treat there and saves using the tumble dryer.

As a clothes hanger it is really good - you can fit a whole washing load on it and it doesn't take up as much space as a clothes horse. So it is exactly as described. My only issue with it was it wasn't clear in the instructions that you need to add on a small amount extra to the width to account for the plastic covers. Quite annoying to find this out at the end once you've already made the holes in the wall. Also I no longer have space to fit a second one in. So just watch out for that and you should be happy with it.

I needed to replace a retracting washing line in our kitchen after complete refitting made the retracting line impossible. After a lot of researching of reviews I decided to buy this unit and I am very pleased with it. Delivery was extremely fast. Fitting was very simple with the help of the template on the box. The unit is very sturdy, well finished (I am impressed with the bracket covers which hide the fitting screws!) and has coped with a full washing load. I think it will last!

Brilliant space saving product. Only having a small hall/entrance where washing can dry this is fab for saving space. Prior to buying we used a traditional drying screen. This meant it had to be moved to open the door, get shoes, get coats and generally just got in the way.This however is always to hand. Even when full it can be pushed in to open the door without any hassel.Will buy another one in time. Highly recommend for anyone looking to save space in their home.

I have had these for a couple of years and hang the laundry for a family of 5 on it.I am really pleased with it. My husband bolted it into place so I could be free to hang more weight. I am really pleased with it. I love that when I am no longer using it I just push it back against the wall/door. The best airer I have ever owned.I have both the 60 and the 80. Please see the pictures. I had. Ordered the 100 but it was too big for my little area. So I sent that back.

This is a terrific solution to free up floor space in a utility room, kitchen or bathroom, with an economical use of wall space too. I bought the widest product (120cm) and am thinking of buying a second. We use the central cable portions to dry washing indoors; the metal concertina bars portions are strong enough to hang freshly ironed clothes. Space permitting, it would be brilliant in a dressing room, for the terminally indecisive who can't decide what to wear.

This clothes dryer is amazing, I would hate to be without it!! I was worried how strong it would be- absolutely no need it is very sturdy ! I bought the 120cm size it has 9 bars each will fit two adult items probably 3 child items plus I hang stuff on sides on coat hangers on sides so dries loads. I’m lucky enough to have it sited above a radiator in my laundry room so stuff dries over night I would give it 100 stars! Everyone needs one!

Pretty good clothes dryer. Only gripe is that the space between each bar isn't far enough. The clothes are pretty close together and so, air to get in around them to dry them is a little restricted. However I would buy again but next, I'd go for the bigger version. It's a good sturdy rack and easily fitted so long as you have the necessary tools to do so. A drill, wired or cordless and decent masonry drill bits.

I use this for items that cannot go in the tumble dryer. This is a brilliant space saving airer. My husband installed it at the top of our stairs where the heat rises. If I put items on it in the evening they are dry by the next day. It is easy to pull out and fold up again. My only tip is to put heavy items near the wall and lighter items on the outside rails. I hang my clothes on coat hangers as it is easier.

Delighted with this purchase...folds away very compact when not in use. Easy sliding mechanism for use and holds a full load of washing which is a great help. Would definitely recommend if you’ve got spare space for an indoor drying rack. The packaging also comes with a very handy template on the design where the screw holes should go against the wall...saves having to try and hold the item in place.
