Lottie Dolls are smaller than average and are designed to reflect the little girls who play with them; as such they reflect the kind of activities that children like to do – from riding ponies to going to the beach. This Lottie is about to go to ballet class. Lottie has a pretty outfit – including a layered tutu (ours has not frayed so far, but we’ve only had it a couple of weeks), a sparkly leotard, tights, ballet shoes and a little ballet bag.I love the fact that Lottie is age appropriate. I don’t have particularly strong feelings about Barbie, et al, but it is good to see a doll which reflects real life and which is the size, and shape, of a child. I really can't stand Barbie so bought my daughter a Lottie when she started asking for Barbie, aged 5. She adores her Lottie and is proud to have something a bit different to her friends. Yes, they're a bit smaller but beautifully made, super-pretty and I thought the clothes were very well made too, unlike another reviewer. I love the big eyes - a bit like the sisters in Frozen - and I love that my daughter has a little girl doll, rather than one that looks like a surgically enhanced Valley Girl. She's keen to have more and I love that they have less gender-stereotyped options like Karate Lottie and Pirate Queen

We bought this for my step-daughter (4) when my son, her half-brother, was born as a big-sister-gift from him. She absolutely loves Lottie (almost as much as she loves her new brother).We chose a Lottie doll for the positive body images that it promotes and we are really happy with the quality of the doll and the clothes and we found the small bag for the ballet slippers to be life-saving when it comes to keeping them safe.I would buy the other dolls in this range without hesitation and I have recommended them to every other parent I know.

We love these proper girl dolls. My youngest really isn't into dolls, but enjoys these dolls. We bought it as a present for a 6 year old friend who adored it.Sadly it's very easy to lose the accessories. The toddler hid her bag and ballet shoes- still not found! They are somewhat pricey for a small doll, but good quality and a great interest level.. Also unique in being a girl rather than an adult. All in all a good buy. I wish I could afford to buy more.

I bought this for a neice (and the Autumn Leaves Lottie for another) who drags it around with her everywhere. I love the pretty costumes, its reasonably robust construction and the fact that they look more like a little girl than a surgery-enhanced adult! Just a shame that you can't get different outfits for them as half the fun of a doll is the dressing-up.

daughter loves her. Unfortunately we lost one of the shoes almost immediately, it would have been nice if they stayed on better! Also, the skirt material frays very easily. However, Lottie still kicks Barbie's ass!! Will be buying more of these. However, not from Amazon until they pay their staff a decent wage and pay their taxes in the UK!

Just right for my 4 year old grand daughter. Not too big to carry round and she also likes the new outfit that was bought with the doll. She loves it and it seems to be reasonably well made. Good to see a proper doll for a change.

A really lovely doll. My 3 year old absolutely loves her. The only criticism I would have is that the edges of the doll's skirt seem to fray pretty quickly which is a shame - other than that, good quality.

A great alternative to the more 'adult' looking dolls on the market i.e barbie, bratz etc. Really pleased with quality of product and attention to detail. Would recommend whole-heartedly.

Lottie dolls are great, always go down a real treat. bought this as a present for christmas and are still being played with several months later. A good alternative to a barbie doll.

Absolutely gorgeous packaging, this was purchased as a gift so have not opened. Can see the doll is a sweet size for little hands, looks lovely wil enjoy gifting his.

Bought this for my 4 year old grandaugther who has other Lottie dolls. It arrived quickly & she loves it !!Much better than a Barbie doll for this age group.

Can't praise highly enough. Great quality and doesn't look like a h**ker. Wish more manufactures thought about making dolls that were more realistic.

My daughter loves this doll, she plays for hours doing ballet with Lottie. Much better than a Barbie, highly recommended.
