Green clay was first quarried in southern France, where producers had a global monopoly until identical deposits were discovered in North America and in China. The green colour is a combination of ferrous oxides and decomposed kelp and other algae. This has been a vital part of my survival pack for years. I have a very sensitive stomach and get food poisoning with astonishing speed - this stuff is brilliant at swiftly relieving the symptoms of nausea and headaches. 1 level teaspoon sprinkled onto half a glass of water with a little apple cider vinegar, stir with a plastic spoon (metal ones react, apparently) and down the hatch - swiftly followed by a glass of water, with activated charcoal capsules if in dire straits. Try not to taste or smell it, procedure best done with speed.Works on hangovers too. Not a great taste but its good medicine. Parakeets feed on clay to counteract the toxins in their diets. good quality green clay. makes a perfect face mask for someone with sensitive skin.my mother is a ceramic artist and having seen how hard clay can be on the skin I only use small amounts of gentle clay like this one and on individual oily patches. This clay beats all the bought face masks, they're always really drying is order to impress people who like to fight with their skin. Ignore the rhetoric of 'problem skin', if your skin has a problem, its over-harsh skin treatments.This clay helps with excess oil without being at-all drying.

Love it, amazing clay! Just the type of clay looking for when using for wound healing for horses. It dries properly unlike some I have bought which stay wet presumably for a face pack type of situation. This clay dries as you would expect clay to and is brilliant to help wounds heal. Have used it on myself too, not that I am as accident prone as the pony!

To combine with Cade oil /water for a skin infection on a leg.Having tried all sorts of drugs and medication we tried this as a last resort.It worked. It also works on insect bites and scratchesFormerly we used green argyle to reduce swelling on legs.Great product, speedy delivery. Thank you

I would recommend this product. I tried it yesterday and works really well. Needed really small quantity so the packet will last longer.I am also planning to try adding this when I am making cold process soap to see if the colour lasts and makes the bar smooth and silky.

I used this on an infection next to my finger nail that was spreading and painful and it really calmed it down and reduced the swelling. Afterwards I used orahesive powder and the combination of these two cleared it up.

Originally bought this in a pharmacy in France, have been using for years, and managed to find on Amazon. Good price and really nice, organic product which is a staple in my bathroom cabinet.

A high quality edible green clay l use to detox, works well but must be drunk with plenty of water or you'll become dehydrated as it draws the impurities out.

It is intended for all purpose use. Very good quality. Would recommend. I use it internally and I have a very sensitive stomach.
