Wet compartment is large enough to take a standard size towel, trunks, flip flops, goggles and bottle of shampoo. It has a vent into this compartment so allows the water to start evaporating. The large inner is more than big enough for a complete change of clothes and a pair of shoes. The is also another end zip compartment which is big enough for a water bottle and my son's inhaler and spacer. The bag is just the right size for my 12 year old and does not look overly large. So far it appears to be well made and sturdy. Well worth the money.
