I'm probably still in the honeymoon period, but right now I'm somewhat in love with my new iMac. The machine this replaced was a decade old iMac 24" that had become almost impossible to use since Apple withdrew software support for it - plugins wouldn't update, updates couldn't be installed, new peripherals couldn't always be installed - and it had become very, very slow following the El Capitan update. The machine does have a smaller screen - but iMacs now only come in 21.5" and 27" and I didn't think I could cope with the larger screen in my relatively small home office. I bought this just short of a week ago with a deal that was offered by Very. I have been a long standing apple user for many years and currently own an iPad pro, apple macbook and apple watch. Recently sold my iPhone for an android. However for a while I have wanted to treat myself to one of these. As always apples packaging is outstanding and the quality of the products they provide never disappoints. The price seems a little much but if they are on offer I would highly recommend. Especially if you are going to use it often . The feeling of sitting at a desk and using this is a luxury. It's super efficient and comfortable to use. Would never look at another computer again.

Bought this last week to replace an old PC, I was debating between getting this or an Mac Laptop air and I'm so pleased I went with the IMac, the 21.5" display is just amazing, it's more than enough screen for average use, big enough to watch film/TV on but doesn't intrude on space. It's very simplistic which I love about it, the wireless mouse and keyboard have fantastic battery life and the lack of wires make everything very neat looking. It's so much faster than my old PC and previous laptops I've used. Couldn't recommend this highly enough!

This iMac is not worth the pretty penny for a basic computer that is not special in comparison to others and has much less to offer. I hate that new models are worth less because they have no DVD/CD drive which means you cannot put disc programs on there, burn DVDs, rip CDs or make CD yourself. The sound is bad like it has too much bass. My Samsung and old Blackberry has better sound. The ports are limited and the keyboard is tiny. I extremely unimpressed. I just liked that it was packaged well.

The goods were as described in the Amazon entry and seem to be in good condition. However would not agree the computer was easy to use,but this is more an issue with Apple and not the supplier.eg I found instructions to get the mouse working was to replace the batteries. This mouse uses rechargeable batteries ,charged via the supplied cable.I assumed that the unit would still have a 1year guarantee but has been reduced to 8 months which was not indicated at the time of purchase?

After years of using old computers with Windows XP, 7 & 10, I decided to go for a iMac desktop. It is a big difference to what I am used to, but the quality is by far, the best. It is easy to use and has lots of features, some of which I may never need to use, but I think that it will be piece of equipment that I wished that could have afforded earlier in life. Thanks to Very with their different payment deals this brought the iMac into the range of affordability.

I was initially torn between this and the 4K version. After weeks of research and deliberation I decided to purchased the new 2017 model with the 1080p screen. I have found the performance superb and the screen still looks absolutely incredible! As ever with Apple, the build quality remains impressive. This entry level iMac really has exceeded my expectations and I've yet to find one negative thing about it. It's all positive in my eyes!

Very pleased with this purchase, aesthetically stunning, works straight out the box. Enter a few passwords and it is connected to devices you already have or had. Does everything you need it to do, it is pricey of course but it'll last for years and Apple release regular OS updates so it's constantly improving. A worthy investment.

I purchased the HD version of this IMac on behalf of a relative to replace an older version. It is too early to write a review as it has not been set up yet. Howevever, we anticipate great things from this particular model given the vast number of good reviews that we have read online. The service provided by Very was excellent.

I am used to using a Mac so it was no big change from my previous model. However, I am very pleased with the performance and the storage capacity - double my earlier model. I was also pleased that it was easy transferring all my files and applications using migrate. A successful purchase!

Just had this a week so far, purchased to upgrade from a late 2013 model. Very pleased with it and found it easy to set up although I have had a few years experience with my previous one. Top quality item and very prompt delivery. Great price too compared to some sites.

Fabulous product as always this is my second IMac computer and would not buy any other, my last one was about 10 years old now that’s just fantastic in the computer world. Argos is the place to buy from, easy ordering, paying and collection. Fantastic buy.

Great Apple Mac, very easy to order and customer service was excellent.Easy to set up - help wasn't needed but was readily available.Would recommend Argos as the best place to buy as follow up and advice are easy to source.

This i Mac is my first apple computer . I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of setting it up.The build quality is second to none and I wish that I had bought one sooner . Superb !Thank you Argos and Apple.

Very happy with the Apple IMac. Super easy to install, intuitive programmes, app friendly. Can be used for personal use or for working from etc. Well designed, and attractive. Great piece of technology.
