Love it. After years of buying subpar cables and having them break on me, I've decided to step the game up so to speak and find the best cables I can find while still being reasonable priced.First up, a lightning cable for my fiancee's iDevices (she's gone through 8 lightning cables so far over 3 years, 3 of which were Apple originals and all of which failed miserably. One even tor itself apart so bad it began to short out and got dangerously hot!)So on to this cable, for still less money than what Apple is charging for the OEM cable in one of their stores, you could get this Kevlar cable, which is 3 times the length (3m vs 1m), feels about 10x as well made and (imho)looks better to boot. You be surprised that Anker her, might even have the better packaging than Apple, the supposed masters of the product box. Arriving in a sleek box only as big as it needs to be, held closed by magnets and not difficult at all to open up, it ticks all the right boxes (excuse the pun). The one area it won't work out as the one cable to rule them all would be USB syncing. Admittedly I have not tested this personally yet, but the cable is advertised as solely being a charge cable, so in theory it won't work for hooking up to a computer. I think that's okay though, as you have to charge your iphone everyday, which would involve plugging in a charging cable everyday such as this Anker one that would cause strain on it and eventual damage, so it'd better be as strong as you can make it (please Apple, put wireless charging into your phones!). The fragile Apple cable, just keep that around for when you need to plug into your computer for whatever reason every once in awhile, saving it from everyday abuse. So in conclusion, I feel like I've been through another case of buy cheap buy twice. Or actually in this case, buy expensive and buy twice. Pretty much all the ultra cheap lightning cables on Amazon failed far too soon, with the expensive Apple ones only faring slightly better overall. I've only had mine for a few weeks so far, but the first impressions have been very good, and I would say get this Anker Powerline+ one as a good middle ground between price, durability and utility for charging purposes. Now if they could release a cable that could officially support syncing as well, they really would have the one cable to rule them all!EDIT: Just tested the cable out with my computer, and it's detected, no problem. So barring any issues further down the line, this really is my one cable to rule them all! (Precioussss)

This cable looks the part and appears to be well built, but that's about as far as it goes.Unfortunately my experience with this cable is not as smooth as some of the other reviews I have seen on here (which I used as a basis for making this purchase in the first place). I have owned this cable for 6 months now and already the braiding at the lightning connector end has started to come away from the connector, as has the fibre jacket that lies beneath it which has subsequently started to expose the wire underneath. This has left the wire vulnerable to further weakening with further use, and potentially put both my own and the devices safety at risk. It's almost as though they've cut the durable materials too short, right at the point where it's really needed when the cable is constantly plugged in and out of the device.I bought this cable as I assumed it would be extremely tough and durable, however I have clearly been proven wrong. It’s not as though I have treated the cable roughly either, which is what frustrates me even more as it is my understanding that it was designed with durability in mind.So far, my Apple cable (which I consider a highly flawed product designed in a deliberate way to generate more revenue after purchasing an already expensive product) has lasted just as long.EDIT: Anker customer services contacted me very quickly and organised to send out a replacement cable promptly which was received Saturday 21st Jan. I'm very happy with the replacement cable, there seems to be no issues with this one, but I guess only time will tell whether it will suffer the same fate. Fingers crossed. One thing I can say though is that their customer service is one of the best I have ever dealt with. I've amended this review from 1 star to 4 to ultimately reflect my positive experience with them.

Anker cables are always the only ones I trust with my devices. I've always used them and find them to be incredibly reliable. The new "PowerLine+" cables are amazing and seem to be lasting a long time and with each iteration of Anker "PowerLine" cables, they seem to be improving in durability, reliability and speed. However, if you think I'm wrong, just look at the materials they are made out of.The Lightning tip seems to be firm and, unlike that of other brands, does not seem to bend and is staying strong after many uses. And I bought the 10ft one so that I could use it from across the room where my PowerPort. As for the company itself, Anker, are one of the most customer-centric companies I have ever known.Their support is responsive, friendly and efficient and the staff are ALWAYS willing to help out in any way they possibly can. This includes sending out replacement products without any charge should something go wrong (but this newest iteration of the "PowerLine" seems perfect!) within the next few days.Whilst they are not the cheapest of cables if you are looking for quality, good customer support and a cable that will last a lifetime (or will be replaced if it does not). Then buy Anker PowerLine+ cables. They are truly the best.

I don't recall having the urge to write a negative review before...Firsty, I purchased a very cheap 10 ft iphone cable from ebay for about £2. This worked absolutely fine, until maybe 2 months after purchasing. This was a little irritating, so I decided to purchase a 'high quality' anker product, in hopes it would last me at least a year or two. I have used anker in the past, for various items and figured this would be no different... I ignored the bad reviews.Well, this cable stopped working after a mere FEW DAYS of normal use... the cable is still in pristine condition, but has completely ceased to charge my iphone. The cable itself feels of good quality, so I am surprised, and very disappointed...especially as I bought it for a trip next week. The fact that a product costing a tiny fraction, ended up completely outperforming this is a little bewildering.I will be enquiring about a refund, or at least a replacement that works.EDIT: Anker have been very good and sent me a replacement very quickly, and this cable has now been working for a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed this one will live on long. I will update this review again should anything change.Great customer service.

I have bought many, many Anker products over the years:-Many various charging cables; 2 USB powerport chargers (1 stopped working on 2 ports); 3 USB car cig chargers; usb hub for computer; 2 x earbuds.I have bought 7 of the 3M (10ft) Powerline + Lightning Cable (3 Metres) Aramid Fiber & Nylon Double Braided Cables.I do like the velcro sraps that tidy up the cable when the full length is not required and for stowing away when not in use in my motorhome. One of the older ones that get stowed away and moved a lot (used in my motorhome) still works perfectly. The other one says its charging for a couple seconds and then say 'not charging' (On iPads & iPhone screen)Of the remaing 5 that are in situ (never moved)in the house; 1 also has the similar fault of 'not charging' (ipad, iphone again). Bit dissapointed with that as its 21months old; never moved or under any stress; and now out of warranty.

This is a very long and good quality feeling cable... unfortunately the lighting connector broke after a couple of weeks, which sucks! It was actually quite lucky that the metal end of the connector broke outside of my phone other wise i would have had to go fishing. If Anker can address this issue(I have read elsewhere that this is an issue), then it would be ten times better than the original Apple cable.Sort it please Anker.****update**** Anker have sent me a replacement cable as well as Amazon refunding me for the full amount, so I have basically had a free cable. The customer service is brilliant, I was really blown away. I can report that so far the cable looks to be fine.I will once again update the review once I have used it for a while.

I bought this cable specifically to use in a vehicle. I needed the extra length to reach my phone from the USB point. It was to be used as a data cable as well as charging. The quality of the cable looks excellent and you can feel this when you handle it. The first one I received had a fault and was intermittently showing as unrecognised in my vehicle system. True to Anker's word I contacted them and they immediately sent me a replacement. I have just tested the replacement and it is recognised every time. I must say the service you receive from Anker is fantastic. I now find myself checking to see if they make a product before committing to other manufacturers, such is the trust they are building up.Well done Anker!

I'm very impressed with the quality of everything I've bought from Anker up to this point. This 3m grey braided cable seems very sturdy so far. The braided nature makes it a little stiff compared to standard unbraided cables, but that's what you get if you want something a bit more durable. I bought this to replace an Anker 2m braided cable in red, which I decided wasn't long enough for what I needed, soon after I bought it. The 2m red now charges my phone next to my bed, allowing me to comfortably use my phone without having to be near the edge of the bed, as I was with the stock iPhone cable. I considered buying another red, as it looks great, but the grey means I won't get the two mixed up easily.

Our household goes through charging cables at an incredible rate. I've tried buying chaper ones on the basis that they'll need to be replaced anyway but they tend not to last more than a week... these have arrived to plug into the USB hub hidden under the coffee table and offer charging to any iPhone / iPad in the lounge that needs it.At 3m they're long enough to reach most seats. The cable is very sturdy and feels like it will last well. The connectors are solidly made and the junction with the cable itself (where most cables fail) is better protected than others.I've got high hopes that these will last longer than normal but I'm sure they will need replacing eventially.

Put simply, this cable is great. The 10ft length is probably the longest you'll ever need it, and I'm so happy to have found a durable and strong cable in this length. The woven outside of the cable looks good, and both the USB and Lightning sections feel robust and sturdy. Comparing this to Apple's standard cables, I can't understand why people buy Apple's cables. This cable will not 'turtleneck' or tear thanks to the woven outsides, and it will not permanently contort and bend to weird angles like a standard Apple cable.I swear by anything Anker and this cable has not/will not let me down. It is definitely worth checking out their other products.

Terrible, this is the third Anker cable I have purchased in the last few months and they all have a loose connection, and either keep falling out, or disconnect from the power whilst still being physically connected. At least the others lasted a few weeks/months, this was faulty out of the box. Seemingly a trend with Anker cables as of late. Disappointing as I had bought a cable from Anker just less than two years ago and it lasted for well over a year.EDIT: Anker's great customer service reached out to me and offered to send replacements, which I have been trying out for a few days and I can confirm that these new cables are very good!

Nice and long, durable and having given the connections between the cable and plugs a good wiggle and poke about, this is a damn well built cable. Should last us a while (longer than the cheap crap my wife bought previously that lasted a couple of months). Our long cable lives in the lounge in a plug down the side of the sofa - it's dragged over the sofa, round the back, battered by visiting teens kids and adults alike, from all seats on the sofa.Would definitely recommend, the extra couple of quid does (unsurprisingly) make it a great bargain, so much so that several things around USB cables and the like I now only by from Anker.

I brought this cable approx 6 months ago and recently found there was an intermittent connection and my iPhone or iPad was not always charging. I contacted Anker support via email and they responded promptly and professionally. After confirming a few details they offered a replacement with no quibble. Communication was maintained throughout the process with updates on dispatch and confirmation the new cable had resolved this issue. This is the only cable I’ve had an issue with amongst 3 Anker cables I own. So I would definitely buy more if needed and Anker is a brand I believe that look after there customers.

I bought this cable in the hope of permanently replacing my short and weak Apple lightning cables, and it has done the job perfectly. Long - which means I can reach my phone with no trouble from anywhere in the living room, although I think 6ft would suit most people's needs; well-constructed - which is something that is welcome coming from Apple's lightning cables; MFi certified - meaning they are fully supported by Apple products. On the back of this purchase I've bought many more Anker products and the quality is outstanding across the board. Highly recommended.

This lightning cable is durable and fits the bill for what I had wanted of it. I've been using this product as a wire to charge my iPhone from the plug socket to where I sleep at night. The long size, as well as the tough fiber/nylon cable has ensured that tossing and turning in bed hasn't broken the wire and has opened up the potential for me to wander around my room whilst continuously charging my phone, knowing full well that the cable will be in supreme condition by the end of it. Pretty much all I could ask for from a cable, cheers Anker.
