Used for leisure purposes I initially purchased this product to secure a parasol, I found it so useful I purchased two more to help secure a windbreak on exposed ground in a very windy spot where I was finding it necessary to constantly adjust the accompanying guy ropes. The anchors work so well I am about to purchase another and dispense with ropes altogether. I will then be assured that my windbreak will remain upright in place whenever hurricane ? deems to visit.

What a brilliant product, all those years looking for something heavy to bash in the parasol pole and usually damaging it are all behind me. A quick and easy product to use and provides a strong but light base for all parasols. No fears of the wind knocking it over and no struggling with a heavy base. I wish I'd found this years ago.

This item is much larger than I expected, but it does the job brilliantly. It screws into the ground quite easily and held our cheapo umbrella firmly in place, despite it being quite windy. I was worried it would leave a big hole in the grass, but it didn't do that either.

I was very pleased with my purchase, it’s sturdy and I was pleasantly surprised that it actually holds the umbrella, unfortunately we only used it once while we where away due to the weather, a good investment for future use,

Brilliant invention! Used it in Jersey and had no problems whatsoever. Yes - it's a bit heavy to carry but well worth the price. Especially in places that are unspoilt - keep it in the car along with your umbrella.

Easy to use, bought 2 to hold a gazebo down at opposite corners, good. But the packaging! Large separate box for each, lots of padding, ridiculously over protective, and why weren't they in the same box?

If ever you wandered what to do with your rotary washing lines, fishing umbrella when it rains or parasol on the beach, then this is the answer, I will be getting some more. Of these

Makes a huge difference, not too heavy and does the job. It is very orange but you cover it with a towel or sand if that bothers you. Used it every day for 2 weeks with no issues

Great for putting a Sun umbrella up. Screws in the grass, do not know about sand. A strong product, and supports an umbrella if a bit windy.Easy to use.

This works really well in gravel type beaches or shingle. Much bigger than expected so a bit heavy to carry if you have a long walk to the beach

Great idea and great product for the beach (or garden). Well worth the money - no more blown away or broken beach umbrellas for me!

bought for holding sun umbrella does the job perfectly well,didnt think plastic item would work as well as it does.
