I'm actually pretty impressed with this, I had not heard of the range before now and thought I would take a chance on it as at the very least it could prove to be a novel fragrance but it actually is a great fragrance and I think I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone.Some other reviewers have suggested that it is a floral fragrance but I am not getting that at all, I think it is a masculine fragrance, musky and a little like old spice actually. For an Eau De Toilette, it is actually much stronger than I would expect, when you first apply it and it lasts longer than I would expect too. Upon receiving it I applied a few larger sprays to my arms and rubbed it in and it has lasted great.Usually with Eau De Toilette I would, like a few friends, apply via the spray the fragrance to my wrists, neck, backs of hand, even occasionally spray some on hair or lapel of coat as it fades quickly but not so this one.It is supplied in a film wrapped small silver look card box with a dark black inner card wrap around, the fragrance itself is dispensed from a glass bottle and has a fixed plunger nozzle which you press to spray and there is a cap which pops on and off again without screwing in place. The nozzle itself does not unscrew and is fixed in place, important to note in case you may have intended to use one of the smaller generic plunger mist spray devices that can draw up fragrance from larger fragrance bottles.Very pleasing aesthetically, the bottle and box, it would serve well as a gift, the fragrance does not disappoint either. I expect that it will last long as it does not require a lot of application initially or reapplying over a short time. It is also fine to apply after shaving without a moisturizer, at least I found this to be the case, no rash, no aggravation of skin or blocking pores. Recommended.

I'm unfamiliar with this brand but I'm quite pleased with this fragrance, it's a lovely earthy-green scent with spicy undertones much more sophisticated than some others at this price point for such a large bottle.It's a pleasant scent, mossy woods and Mediterranean herbs lead before a warm soapy note carries through which I believe may be a blend of the bergamot with the amber, finally a sensual earthiness with honeyed twang from the grassy roots of the Patchouli and Vetiver respectively. I don't really get the cinnamon, but the cumin heart beats a green grassy note alongside the bassier patchouli & vetiver.I really like Vetiver whether on a man or woman so I'm bound to enjoy this scent howeverwhilst admittedly this isn't as sophisticated as other Vetiver led scents but it's remarkablely nice for the price point.It's also worth pointing out the fact they've not labelled whether this is EDP or EDT which makes me suspicious this may even be Eau De Cologne with even less concentration of fragrance especially because whilst it is pretty lovely, it doesn't last very long at all regardless of skin type.That said, there's nothing wrong with cologne, you get a decent sized bottle and it smells pretty good, it's just the ticket to keep handy for freshening up without unleashing a beast of a scent on all and sundry. I like this scent, here's hoping my other half choose to wear it!

Whether this product works for you depends on how you will use it. It has a fresh smell, which is quite intense when first applied and lasts well throughout the day. I applied it early in the morning and could still detect it until about teatime.This smells fresh, but not particularly floral. After the initial hit fades, like many male Eau de Toilette's leaves you smelling of soap in a good way. I actually quite like it, because fresh and a bit floral with a touch of citrus is generally what I go for. A lot of male fragrances tend to go for a tobacco type smell nowadays and you end up smelling a bit like an ashtray, but this isn't quite one of them.If you are looking for a reasonably priced scent that you can wear everyday,is going to allow you to smell fresh and pleasant every day then this is going to fit the bill well.It isn't outstanding but it is nice and does a good job, if used as described above, a long lasting fresh smelling everyday scent.

Using and liking a fragrance is a personal choice and that of your partner. AMERICAN CREW is a new brandfor me -but I was pleased to sample and test the product over a ten day period.The scent does fade a little after a few hours but the overall effect is a winner. I personally found it tobe subtle and I enjoyed using it. I found the fragrance to have floral tones but still masculine. I woulddescribe it as a reasonable everyday fragrance or after shave.The price range on fragrances for men is vast so to be fair there can be few complaints with the pricingmodel on this product. It is in my view value for money.

I was pretty impressed with this scent. It has initially fresh, sharp citrus tones and as it settles down a more floral, patchouli tone comes to the fore. It’s really up my street and the only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because it maybe doesn’t last particularly long. It’s in a reasonably generous 100ml glass bottle with a spray. At around £20 it’s pretty good value for money and one I’d come back to. Despite the fact it maybe doesn’t have the longevity of other it is a good price and a lovely scent.

At first application there seems to be quite a piquant spicy, peppery quality to this, which after a short while gives way to a more citrus scent, and then after that vanilla, floral and woody, earthy aromas.It's a shame that the spice and then the citrus seem to not persist for a particularly great duration as those are the best parts of it and I'm a bit less keen on the longer lasting aromas.A nice enough scent but not something I would like enough to get more once this is gone.

This comes in a black wrapped 100ml glass bottle with a spray. This is contained in a silver box. The advertising write up seems to suggest a younger age group than my usual tester (my husband) so gave to my grandson to try. He laughed at the blurb but really liked the product. The perfume is, we thought, quite a clean citrus smell which was pleasant but my grandson reported that while it did not last the full evening it did last a couple of hours. He was more than happy with it.

This men's fragrance comes in a curved black glass bottle with a metal pump spray.The fragrance is light and spicy, not at all musky which gives a cloying heaviness, and I think is suitable for all ages of men. The simple yet stylish bottle looks good in a manly way, and holds 100ml of fragrance. It evaporates quickly after spraying and doesn't leave water marks on clothing. A very pleasant light fragrance but nothing memorable.

Intrigued by this as the write-up sounds like something from the 80s... about pleasing women and all that jazz... So unnecessary... let the fragrance speak for itself, with a nice mix of spice, 'woodiness' and not too overpowering to boot! I like it, but the nonsense blurb to sell it, is off-putting. The bottle is well designed and looks the part... time to have a word with the marketing dept. and do the fragrance justice!

I must admit, I got put off this by the "Hey! Wow! In the pocket!" blurb on the Amazon product page, but the actual stuff is really quite nice. A sploosh of this, and I don't really feel like an amoral American executive, about to screw over the little guy, but just like someone who's put on some decent after-shave.Quite a fresh fragrance, definitely masculine and about as far from Old Spice as it's possible to get.

From the packaging, this wasn't the scent that I had expected - it's got some citrus, but it's quite floral too. I like it, but the silver and black styling had me expecting something a bit different. It's a nice scent and my husband likes it, but the only issue is that it's not the longest lasting fragrance - which is a shame, but for a quick spritz before popping out somewhere, this is a winner.

I can`t see this replacing my beloved Armani He, but it`s decent enough. It doesn`t have quite the element of "fun", as the undernotes are too sandalwood-y for my liking, but there`s just enough citrus to keep it on the right side of good to my nose. Nobody seems to either dislike it or massively like it, which suggest American Crew should stick to their excellent hair care products.

Quite a subtle fragrance where the citrus top notes settle down to a spicier middle but it fades far too fast for the price - it'll last an evening out but not a day at work without a top up. The packaging is simple and clean - but I'd expect a longer lasting scent at this mid-range price. Smells grown up, though: 4 stars for fragrance, 3 for longevity: 3.5 overall rounded up.

Remove the silver box, and you're treated to a good sized (100ml) bottle of men's fragrance with the retro American Crew logo on. The smell is really nice and fresh, and definitely feels like a sporty/active vibe rather than a romantic dinner one. It fades after a couple of hours, but that's not uncommon for eau de toilette. Overall, a really nice fresh smell at a good price

I really like this and it reminds me of the kind of aftershave/scent that I used in my twenties. I've gradually drifted into subtle, muskier older smells that might suit an evening out. American Crew Win is a nice pick-me-up in the morning and a refreshing smell - in moderation! Nothing worse that over doing it and making other people sneeze.
