I am blown away by the performance of this thing.I decided to buy an AMD chip for my new gaming rig (Have been using Intel for as long as I remember, probably as far back as 2008) based primarily on the cost / bang for buck so was absolutely blown away by the benchmarks. This thing puts out higher end performance for what is, lets be honest, mid range price point. It isn't quite 'cheap' as some of the early marketing tried to hint at...I am yet to play around with overclocking - but out of the box, I now firmly believe this is the next gen of chips, and Intel has their hands tied to come up with competition. Sure it isn't as powerful as the high end Intel chips,

Excellent high end CPU.Price is very competitive with intel's I7 6800k.It streams really well with the extra encoding horsepower.My i7 4790k was getting similar game FPS in gaming.I have to admit the max fps isn't the best on Ryzen but this is rumored to be due to poor optimisations.Only time will tell but in the meantime, if you need heavy multitasking or use CPU intensive applications, this is the CPU for you.
