Best upgrade I've ever made!I was originally trying to game with an AMD A8-5600k APU processor, never heard of it? I don't blame you. it was old, slow and definitely not made for gaming. When I finally made the choice to save for a new processor, I wanted something that everyone had heard of before, like a Ryzen, and something that would be a huge upgrade from what I was using... which, an old Potato was probably better than an A8-5600k...Im sure there's better processors out there which are way better for gaming and productivity, but for me, this was a huge upgrade and I can't believe the gaming experience I'm getting now! Fantastic cpu, I previously had a ryzen 1600 and this upgrade was clearly worth it, much faster, much more ability to handle multiple tasks, great price and affordability but kow the pros and consPros: the price, speed, ability to perfome multiple tasks, over clocking abilities, the fact that the non x varients come with a actually very good stock cooler(screw you Intel) good core clock and core speed, good base clock if you're not into overlcocking however there is not that much need to overclock.Cons: does not come with promotional games like said previously hence why amazon has removed the promotion because the company shipping out the processors does not send the codes which is why I've

As the title suggest; This CPU is insane value for money.Whilst you can get newer CPU’s from AMD now I still believe this is the best for value and performance if you want a strong budget build.I paired my CPU with a Corsair AiO, B450 mobo and 16gb of 3200mhz G.Skill Ram.The mobo and ram I bought in case I upgrade to the newer gen at a later date.So currently my CPU is running at 4.2ghz at just under 1.2 volts (silicon lottery!) and clocking in at around 48/50 degrees whilst playing Modern Warfare, Metro Exodus or Doom Eternal.It is absolutely no slouch and has handled every game and task I throw at it effortlessly. I slapped a 2060 Super in and regularly game at 1440p now.

Beautiful product now than ever. AMD Ryzen was a revelation but with Gen 2 now we got an even better deal and ram compatibility is awesome. Mine was in very good conditions (for used piece) and luckily after nearly a year out it got cheaper. It kills anything in the middle segment from Intel past generations and with AMD you can be sure for few more years to come before AM4 gets replaced and due to better performance tuning with updates. It does well for gaming 6c/12t but for general computing and productivity is a real gem especially for under £85 (used) around January 2020. I am so happy eBay exist and time to time can find the bargain of the century.You can find awesome deals on B450s boards

I'm doing this review over a year later so have a lot of experience with this chip in my main rig now - originally I had some issues installing it because my motherboard (Asus B350 TUF) required a BIOS update, however one quick mobo RMA later and it worked no problem - people probably won't encounter this issue with newly bought parts now.The CPU itself worked a treat and I got it overclocked to 4.1GHz with little issues and quite a small, cheap AIO water cooler.This CPU is considerably cheaper now than it was when I got it, so definitely worth getting for a budget gaming build. Thankfully due to AMD's support for socket AM4 I can upgrade to a 3700X when they come down in price,

The current AMD line up have some great offerings. I wanted 8 cores,16 threads for video editing and this 2700 fits the bill. Idles alomg at around 3.4ghz but can boost to 4.1ghz, there is even room for a modest overclock on the stock cooler. Speaking of which the Spire cooler is nice and quiet. I'm still amazed at the speed on offer and the amount of cores/threads and just a 65watt power draw. The Ryzen 3, 5 & 7 all offer excellent vale for money. For the purists out there i can say single core speeds have Intel in front but frame rates in games are still great. I previously owned a i7 7700K (great cpu) but i just needed the extra cores. I nearly bought the Ryzen 5,

its a fast processor i used to use a amd FX8320 which was an octa core cpu and i installed a game with this old processor 16gb of ram and all the other hardware is the same as before. it took dead on 2 hrs to install the game. i upgraded to this cpu obviously needed another board because its a newer cpu but i still kept with 16gb of ram and the different was massive it took only 58 minutes to install exactly the same game.i was going to buy a 1700X but i saw the 2700x wasnt a great deal more in price so i decded to go for the better one. definitely think it was money well spent and i was surprised i got a good deal on amazon this time,

I'm always a little hesitant buying stuff like this from Amazon but I needn't be. It arrived on time as expected, no drama or fuss. The packaging was simple and contained all the necessary details for installation. Largely it will depend on what motherboard you have but I found putting this in an MSi B450 Tomahawk motherboard a doddle. The processor simply clipped into place without incident. Heat sink required a bit more jiggery pokery simply because the metal support structure attached to the back of the MB was not stuck in place. Screwing it down proved a pain.Now that it's in place, paired with 16gb RAM and an older R9 380 GPU, it runs everything I could ask it to without incident.

Fantastic processor ordered to replace my i7 6700k and it has not disappointed even on the stock cooler I'm able to achieve a 200mhz overclock on all cores its capable of more but I stuck with 200mhz to help keep temps down for the price of this processor the value is astounding the price could be £50 more and I would still be more then happy with the purchase along side my b450 board this processor breathes through all my daily tasks including editing, rendering and gaming I have it paired with a gtx 1660 6gb and 16gb ddr4 3000mhz corsair vengeance ram. Definitely one of the best value for money processors on the market 5/5 recommended

Best cpu I've ever seen and it comes with a realy good cpu cooler as you can see in the picture, unfortunately it doesn't work with asus aura but it doesn't realy matter. I upgraded from an amd fx 6300 but before instalation I uninstalled some of the drivers of my old cpu and motherboard. Luckily Windows 10 is very good and was able to install all the new drivers for the cpu and motherboard without a fresh instalation of windows. I didnt even have to re activate windows. The cpu it's self is amazing and even with the stock cooler can over clock to 4 ghz with no problems. I would realy recommend this cpu to anyone.

Upgraded to this processor from an Intel i5 4690k. Overall, seeing far more stable performance in areas of games I previously did not. Multitasking performance has improved also and I'm seeing significantly less CPU usage when I'm carrying out moderately intensive tasks. The stock fan does a good job at keeping the CPU cool but can be somewhat noisy, mainly due to how quickly and frequently the temperature and fan speed can oscillate. In general, very much worth the price and I am glad I bought this processor. A big leap over the last AMD processor I had, the 8350.

I ain't used to speeds like it, think I am.a bit over exicted at having workable speedsWas easy to fit to the motherboard however the fan was a little tricky to clip in to place loving the RGB. It is possible to turn the lights off or dim them or personalised the colours to your liking

I picked up the Ryzen 2600 while it was on sale for 140£. I upgraded my Ryzen 1200,and oh boy,what a difference! Paired with a Corsair H100X aio it performs really good, idle temps are 30C,under stress test 58. When overclocked,idle 32,stress test 72c. It just smashes the blue team when it comes to productivity,when overclocked,the gaming performance is really competitve as well. I had no problem running mine on 4,2ghz on 1,38V,make sure you have at least 3000mhz speed ram. Best performance/value ratio CPU on the market,highly recommended!

Significantly cheaper than the new Ryzen 5 3600 and similar price as the Ryzen 5 1600 CPU meant this was an obvious choice for a budget gaming media centre. No issues so far and feels good to have paid a fraction of the price for an Intel Core i5 alternative and receive such solid performance. No issues with all processing requirements which includes tasks that are CPU intensive such as gaming where lots of things are happening at the same time, i.e. Rainbow Six Siege, Wii U emulation, and more basic needs such as watching movies

Upgraded to this from an i7 4790 which was starting to show its age. Did my homework and knew what to expect from this cpu and have not been disappointed.Ideally would have gone for a 3600 but managed to pick this up discounted and for what I paid could not have gotten a better one.Haven’t tried Overclocking yet but out of the box using Ryzen Master is snappy and multi tasks extremely well. No complaints gaming either.If you can get one cheaper than the new 3100x I can highly recommend this cpu.
