I bought this for my 14 year old son who was re-locating to a new attic room. Arranged for the builder to reinforce the timbers so that the chair was secure and since moving in he spends a great deal of his time in there READING! It is a really comfortable hammock and I have tried it and snoozed off in it! I was worried that it would tear as my son is almost 6ft tall and not on the small side, but so far it has stood the test and it was much cheaper than the Amazonas ones I had looked at. I would recommend a swivel hook to go with it if it is going to be hooked indoors, I would also suggest that this is not just hooked up to your ceiling,

Ordered and received within three days,despite it coming all the way from Germany! The cotton canvas is very good quality as is the reinforced stitching and solid wooden pole. It comes with a metal ring bound into the top rope and I attached this to a tree branch using a spring loaded metal carabiner linked to a galavanised 120mm circular swing hook. Just make sure you protect the branch underneath the swing support to prevent ring barking which will cause the branch to die. I used a couple of old bicycle inner tubes wrapped around the branch before applying the swing support. It's a shame amazon didn't sell these at the time of purchase but I found one easily on ebay by searching SWING HOOK 120mm.For less than £30 I know have a wonderfully relaxing tree hammock,

Well made and feels quite sturdy, also machine washable which is a plus. I bought this together with Hanging Chair Stand Frame HSG-130 (Suspension height: approx. 215 cm) as was suggested on the page for the stand, and it's ok for me (50kg) as i just miss the bottom of the stand (about 15cm above ground), however my husband (100kg) can't use it as he's touching the bottom (would probably just about miss the ground if there was no stand)... So although the hammock can hold up to 150kg (i'm sure it can as it looks very strong) you might need to either hang it higher than 215cm for heavier/multiple users, or wind the strings around the wooden bar to bring the hammock higher which i did and it is ok for now.

We needed a carabiner and rope around the tree to attach it, this meant we could hook it up and take it down quickly. Neither of these were supplied.BUT once up the children could both fit in in.. and I spent an evening snoozing with a glass of wine hanging in the breeze. Both my husband and I think it is one of the most comfortable chairs we have ever sat in.The price at 26.99 including delivery is great value. I was concerned it might be poor quality / plastic - but the swing is made from heavy cotton canvas in bright colours, cotton natural rope and a wooden bar and chrome hinge at the top that enables the swing to rotate without twisting the ropes. It is big enough to put your feet up!If you have the space and a tree ..

This was bought as a present for my husband. I bought him a different type last year which was much smaller and did not come up behind the head, so you could not fall asleep in it. This one is much better in many ways despite being much cheaper. You can totally cocoon yourself in it and fall asleep in it. I would agree with the review that says it would probably not be very comfortable for two although you can physically get two people in it as long as they aren't too big. It arrived quickly and looks like a quality product which should last well as long as it isn't left out in bad weather too often. Highly recommended product and seller. Don't waste your money on the more expensive ones!

This hammock is Amazing! It's well made & was delivered quickly. When you get in this hammock you feel like a child in a cradle. It's so relaxing & the swivel hook turns the hammock gently so you sway in the hammock.You can take the hammock off of the woden bar so you don't need to leave it outside.I bought one and my partner was quite envious so I bought him one too. We sit in our hammocks reading & snoozing enjoying the birds & the sunshine.I can't recommend this hammock enough. Don't think about it, just buy it! You won't regret it! ☺️

This is as stunning as it looks. The ropes are very strong. The hammock material is lovely to sit in. Really warm. I felt very cocooned. Can't wait until later to have a proper slump out in it! Very, very pleased with my purchase. Just been waiting to get my frame built. That got done this morning, so the chair could finally be hung up and tested.Whoever invented the hammock is a right clever clogs, ain't they. Bestest and comfiest thing to snuggle away your time in :) I love mine.

We bought our first one a couple of years ago and it is still going strong even after being left outdoors all year round. With so many vibrant colours to choose from I fancied a change.The grandchildren love this and it certainly takes some hammering from our grandson. I just love to relax with a good read or to admire the view and sometimes have the pleasure of one of the dogs joining me too.Overall a fantastic product, very strong and great value.

I'm a big guy but I can fit in one of these fairly easily. Not as comfy or versatile as a regular hammock, once you're in it it hugs you so tight it's difficult to change position or get out, though granted a skinnier person would probably have a much easier time of it!The design is gorgeous and sturdy and I have had a lot of compliments about it!

Much more studier than I expected. The material is soft but feels like it will hold plenty of weight. I love sitting in it curled up with a blanket, cushion and my book. If you want you can still spread out the material and lie down in it for a nap. The colour was exactly as expected. Shipping was very quick and came well wrapped.

I bought 2 of the XXL but they came in 2 different sizes and colours, but you can use the spring to compensate for depth of rope, hangs 2cm lower than the 1st order, but i love them, was going to return but realise its just minor issues, ive now bought 3, they are comfortable and relaxing, nice fabric and spacious.....

Absolutely brilliant for this price, I have been using it for over 2 months now and no problem with it what so ever. The cloth component can be slipped off the bar for a quick cycle in the washing machine too. As this was the only problem I encountered; the hammock smelled of mildew ever so slightly when it arrived.

I hung this from the trellis I built in my back garden and its provides the feel of a hammock without having to find 2 fixing points.Its comfortable sitting in and even better when you pull your legs into it and get all cosy.The material is strong and and you feel confident it will hold you. I'm 15 stone.

So much nicer for the kids to swing in this than the small plastic sit up swing we had before. the kids love how it envelops them and they can easily get it by themselves. it's even great for us adults - what a lovely feeling to sink into it. it's really great quality material, strong and beautiful colours.

fantastic, swing and twirls if bought with the swivel - keeps my granddaughte6sr amused to hours, and I love it too, we can all get in it together. With the swivel it does mean that it is near to the ground, it you put it low enough to be able to clip on and off, so I twirl the top around to shorten it
