I bought these pants for my girlfriend so she could have some kind of protection when riding her new ninja 300. I figured having some kind of gear would help her build confidence as she learns to ride it. I got these in a size 6 at a better price than what other sizes were offered at. They're worth the price I paid, but be aware that these offer very minimal protection. The pads are pretty decent, like a very dense gel feel. This jean doesnt seem like it'll hold up to a good slide, but in a minor, slow speed kind of "crash" these might do the trick and save you from some bruising. All in all, they're better than nothing, or just a regular pair of levis.
