Just arrived, first impression is that these are well made. I usually wear an XL glove, they seem to fit a bit tight. Have not worn them in yet though. Thumb extension is cramped. Feel like mobility is cut off, but feels great when gripping something. Both index fingers are touch screen capable and works better than expected. The fingers are a touch long, but I would rather that then too short. Seems feel strong, Velcro seems sturdy and padding is in all the right spots when gripping. These should be great. One star off because of thumb tightness. Will update if my feelinngs change after wear in and long term use.

I'm actually returning mine. I've worn the SP1 and SP2 the past few years and when it came to a replacement, I went with Alpinestars again. And like usual I ordered the XL size. To my surprise, the gloves fit quite a bit looser than my previous XLs. So I was also surprised to read other reviews saying they run small. I know that once these are broken in, they will likely be extremely loose . SO I'm returning it for a size Large and hope that sizing is appropriate... I'm 6'2" and 210. I've always worn a size XL from Alpinestars so it wasn't a case of ordering the wrong size.

I had purchased a few different gloves this time around to find the right ones. I originally had some Rev It one's that weren't that comfortable. I then got a pair of Dianese one's that required a padlock to get on. (Just kidding, but there were like 3 different spots to velcro.) Then I came across these beaut's. They are really comfortable and are broken in after a few rides. Very glad I got these.

i ordered as a gift for a cousin and he loved them. So i bought myself a pair a size smaller and i see why he did. These alpinestar actually ran true to size. i would usally have to go a size bigger because they run small. When it comes to riding long hours or thru twisties i cant complain. Lightweight, comfortable and a nice textile feel for gripping the throttle.

I initially bought some similar looking gloves to this for £35......they are ok, but I had to send them back because they were a little tight......The SP-8 is twice the price, but it is very evident they are twice the quality, perfect fit and beautifully made like my other Alpinestar kit.As they say, you get what you pay for....

Definitely more protection than my prior gloves. These don't run a size small like the other gloves for street (getting an XL for my small hands with the others). These fit exactly how you'd expect, so don't go a size up.Excellent protection from the feels of it, can't wait to get riding and try them out!

Theyre comfortable, not to tight or loose. There is really nothing that needs to be changed about them as far as I am concerned. Dress for the fall, because it will happen and gauntlets are the way to go as it will give some impact, and a lot of slide protection to your wrists.

I really like them, but i had to order one size up, i cheked fitting reviews and helped me with that choiceme gustaron mucho, pero los ordene una talla arriba de lo usual, revise reseñas en internet sobre el ajuste final y me ayudaron con esa decision

Stitching is spot on, can't find any errors. Comfy fit and love them. Used for a couple dozens rides now. Obviously not race track quality, but great for street rides. Haven't noticed any areas of concern.

Lovely gloves, exactly what I was expecting. Great looking and well made.I have no doubts these would keep my hands well protected should I ever need it.I would recommend these to anyone ??

I no longer wear this model but for the year I did I had two accidents ontrac accidents by the way and I ended up giving them away because they survived both accidents highly recommended

Great gloves.... second pare. I had a previous pare for few years. The problems are :With in the years of using it stitches might come out, some pads will be ripped off too...Best

They're amazing gloves but I bought a size too big because they're made bigger than the standard black large is what I needed in these the black was XL so don't go by that

I love this glove it is very comfortable looks great the touch screen really works very well. However, if you wear it during fall/Winter your fingers will freeze.

I love these gloves. great fit and feel. Sorry haven't tried the touch screen. Don't use the phone while riding. I stop to do phone, GPS and music interface.
