To be honest when I started using this product I wasn’t sure it was working as the change happens slowly over about a week or so and it doesn’t so much hide the greys but more like it tones them down.So after not really noticing any difference myself three weeks late, I gave up using it and went back to my normal shampoo. About three days later my wife asked if I was still using it, to which I replied ‘Why?’, she said that my grey had come back. It was at this point I realised that that the change was so slow and subtle that I had missed the change but others hadn’t.It’s also worth noting that the impact will vary depending on how grey you are,

I didn't think this would work particularly well for me, having a fir bit of grey at the sides and back, but it has brought back colour and since getting my hair cut, the hair coming through underneath is definitely darker, the hair on top that retained some of it's colour has darkened too, back to my original natural mid/light brown.The thinning on my crown has definitely reduced as well, the lady that cut my hair mentioned the thickness the second I walked through the door.I did get asked if I was putting colour in my hair, which I guess is some testament to how well its working!I guess it works to varying degrees on different people, but to me it's been a success.

I used to use the standard Alpecin. Nearing 60 and looking at my brother's hair (he is two years older) it works. He has lost much more hair than me.Thinning on top the extra darkness this shampoo makes me feel younger in the mirror even though the creaking body tells the truth!!I recommend you give it a try.The liquid is brown, so as a reviewer said - not for blondes. For brown hair it works a treat and looks natural. It also stays in for quite a while - just in case you forget to take it on holiday with you.

Firstly, this particular offer is exceptionally good value.Secondly, the shampoo is a high end men's hair care product. It thoroughly washes your hair, leaving it in excellent condition. The "Tuning" shampoo will not "dye" your hair, the aim of it is to reduce the appearance of grey hair, not to make it look like you've just rubbed boot polish on your bonce.Thirdly, I used to have mild Psoriasis on my scalp, the caffeine in this product has completely reversed the condition.Highly recommended.

If you'e a dark, haired woman going grey - this product is amazing. It can stretch re-doing your roots for weeks. It really blends the grey, without the hardness of a dye. I've been using it for a year now and my hairdresser can't believe the results - he says he hopes all his clients don't use it, otherwise his revenue will go down. Make sure you use it every wash and leave it on for the 5 minutes each time. It's not permanent, so if you don't keep it up it will fade.

Bought this shampoo more in hope than anything else. I have grey coming through fairly prominently on both sides and at the front. I didn't want to go down the "Just for men" route, being only 33. This shampoo is perfect. It has darkening pigment in it, that is more subtle than dying your hair. It takes the edge of the grey, slightly colouring it, without making your hair look that tell tale dyed look. It worked for me, not sure if would be the same for everyone!

Slightly annoyed as was recommended this product from a friend / issue when arrived instructions written in GermanForgive my ignorance but I'm English and couldn't understand so had call friend and ask - if instructions English would have been happy apart from that arrived quickly - apparently use like normal shampoo - however don't put too much on as will slightly burn the scalp.Overall happy with product and now know how to use,would purchase again ?

This stuff kind of works, it's not a miracle cure, but it definitely thickens your hair, and judging by how often I have to get a haircut these days, it speeds up growth. People have told me I have a much fuller head of hair since i started using this stuff, it only really reduces the visual intensity of grey hairs though, but doesn't get rid of them entirely. I will definitely continue to use this product as overall there has been an improvement.

Bought these and at first was not convinced but it is good. Don't expect it to get rid of grey overnight but continued use definitely makes it less noticeable. What you will find more noticeable is how over continued use this gives your a hair a thicker look. I noticed this even more when I ran out and a few washes later my hair felt deflated. Like anything this is not a miracle but will have an effect if given time.

This is not a hair dye, but a shampoo that is supposed to make grey hairs less visible gradually through regular use. It does that job quite well. In terms of leaving the hair nice and soft, I think one can find better shampoos. I use this about 4 times a week and on the remaining days, I use another shampoo. Still, my greys are far less visible than they used to be, before I started using this product.

As title says it's the best shampoo ever for me I can't use any other as my hair starts to come out, been using this type of shampoo for a month now and no more hair coming out and in the plug hole! and hair feels stronger, the coverage of the grey hairs has been minimal but I just love the shampoo and I'm sure longer use may result in better results.The only shampoo for me! won't use nothing else!

I have been using it about 3 times a week for the last 4 weeks and I can see that the grey is subtly getting less grey which is exactly what I wanted the product to do for me. I did not buy it to restore my hair completely back to its natural colour but only to make it less grey. I am really quite happy with the results so far and the time that it is taking to get to the less grey state :-)

Wow this really works for grey hair anyway not going bald so can't comment on that, I'm growing my hair and do get the odd grey hair not many just a few on the sides but since using this I haven't seen any even when I'm up close looking and my hair colour hasn't changed on my second bottle now use it everyday and leave it on for 2 minutes first bottle lasted me about 3 months

i am a regular user of Alpecin antidandruff, but I bought Alpecin Tuning as I have a lot of silver/white/grey hair. It’s better than other shampoos I have used for the same purpose. It takes a week or 10 days to take effect and turn the white/silver into medium grey or light charcoal grey. It doesn’t disappear them but make the silver hair less recognisable.

I really love this product. Since using it my hair has grown so much and i am a WOMAN.The advertisements stipulate that this product is for men, but hey, dont knock it until you've tried it. I use it on a daily basis and leave it on for between 5-10 minutes. I even found that I dont always have to use a conditioner afterwards, but then again my hair is fine
