I wanted a water bottle that I can use for both taking to the gym and also the office, therefore it had to be leak proof to withstand both scenarios. If you're like me and you're worried about some reviewers saying it leaks whilst others seem to have no problem, then do not worry and go ahead and buy this bottle. The first bottle I ordered arrived and I did my first test where I filled it with water and turned it on its side, shook it a bit and then left it on it's side for about 2 hours. It leaked about a tablespoon of water. The second test I did was to take it in my backpack to the gym, of which it leaked again in my backpack (was not in a fixed compartment).I was disappointed but remembered one reviewer mentioning she ordered a replacement which did not leak. So I reported the bottle as faulty and asked for a replacement. The second bottle I did the same test (whilst repeating the tests on the old bottle at the same time in order to compare). However, not only did the second bottle not leak, but the first bottle was no longer leaking. I took the second bottle to the gym and I'm happy to say that it withstood any shakes from walking and functioned perfectly as a sports bottle. As a result I took another look at the first bottle and I have come to the following conclusion. Both bottles work perfectly, however, you need to close both lids tightly. You might think this is obvious, but I mean you need to really close the lids as strong as possible. I believe the other reviewers that reported leaks, did not tightly seal either the top lid or the main opening lid.In conclusion, I'm happy with my bottle, I've taken it to the gym and to work a few times now and no leaking. The opening is great to drink from; you don't have to suck from the bottle and also this means you don't make loud bottle noises when the air gets sucked back in.I would recommend to friends. If you're concerned, just buy it from amazon and test it yourself, if it does leak then return it as faulty, but before you do, make sure the leads are as tightly sealed as possible and then test it again before you return it.

These bottles are basically very well made. The overall dimensions of this 600ml bottle are 73mm diameter and 242mm tall. Unfortunately, this is considerably taller than a standard 500ml retail water bottle which many car manufacturers use to design bottle storage - so check if you plan on using this bottle in your car - the 350ml version may be better fit.The cap is in two parts, neither of which use loose and separate sealing washers that could get lost. Both parts of the cap are sealed by conically shaped sealing rings moulded into the caps which seal against the top of the inner surface of the aperture. These work well, effectively seal the bottle but are best not over-tightened in case the sealing surfaces become plastically deformed over time.It would be advisable to store the empty bottle with the caps only very loosely tightened - just enough to stop them falling off. It is also essential to avoid damage to the inside of the bottle neck or the inside of the drinking spout to prevent any leakage. The top part of cap unscrews to expose a drinking spout, which is easy to wash and keep clean. The bottom part of the cap unscrews to expose a full-width filler neck, which could also be used for drinking if the user does not like drinking from the spout. The wide filler neck makes filling and cleaning inside the bottle much easier. The caps are not attached to the bottle and so could easily get mislaid. The strap is too small to use as a wrist-strap, but appears to be excessively long for attachment to a rucksack, for example.Overall the bottle is of pleasing design, and is well made from good impact resistant materials.

Did I mention that I love this water bottle? I wanted a water bottle for my desk at work as I always noticed how much more water I drink when I can do so out of my own cistern. Initially I thought I might prefer a glass water bottle, having had experience drinking from one while I was temping at another company. However, while I loved that the water didn't have an aftertaste with the glass bottle, I knew that with my clumsy self, before long I would look like an idiot at work by sending my glass water bottle shattering all over the floor of the office. So, I was determined to find a water bottle that fit in with my clumsy lifestyle but still gave me the flavourless flavour I have come to crave in water. When I happened upon this badboy, I knew I'd hit the jackpot. The water bottle is long and thin with a gorgeous pattern on it that makes the water look oh so purdy! I also get no yucky aftertaste - score! I like the wide opening for drinking as you get a proper mouthful, like others have said. Additionally, it doesn't leak. Even when I'm too lazy to wash it out before the weekend and just throw it in my draw with water still in it - I come back to work on Monday and that important quarterly report that acted as a bed for my bottle is still dry as a bone! The only negative is the strap, I think. It's not detachable, which makes me think in time it will get rather grotty if it gets wet from washing. I am super careful with it, however, so thus far I have been able to avoid getting it wet in the sink, thus this potential negative has not been enough to make me drop my review down a star.I cannot recommend it more.

I bought 2 of the 0.35L bottles 3 years ago for my 2 kids, and 1 0.6L bottle for my teen. After years of taking them out for trips, classes, etc, they are still holding up strong and the print design on the bottles are still mostly intact - maybe if you really squinted you could see where the paint has chipped. To be frank I have not actually looked that much even though I have to put these bottles in the dishwasher a few times a week. Basically it hasn't deteriorated to the point that I'd really notice and get bothered by. They are robust. Survived a few drops. All parts go in the dishwasher. So easy to clean and dry. The strap isn't removable but it dries within 10 mins after it has been wet.I've just bought one of the 0.6L for myself now. They have never leaked - of course, with a screw top cap, you need to ensure it is screwed on tight to prevent leakage. No need to screw it on super tight though - I have never needed my husband's help in screwing it tight enough for transport. These bottles often end up lying on their sides in our rucksacks during the day and they have never once leaked. These bottles are so well-made. They pay for themselves within a month. We never need to buy bottled water again outside.I don't know why some reviewers complain of the design coming right off the bottles after a short period of use. Perhaps they got imitations or bad batches. All 4 Aladdin water bottles I'd bought for my household these 3 years have not had their design coming off the bottle to that extent. In fact, nowhere near it. If the paint has chipped a little, it is barely noticeable.

This is a great bottle, I've used it for over a month now and so far the only issues I've had has been the rubber band slipping when trying to securely screw the lid tight. (this is something that only started a couple days ago, but can be easily fixed with adhesive)The fabric handle around the lid can be very convenient when I need to reach for the bottle, or to loop over my wrist if I need my hands free. There is no small hole to allow air to enter the bottle as you drink, so I'd advise not trying to drink from this bottle as if it where a standard water bottle. (the plastic is hardened and will sooner crack under pressure rather than warp like regular store bought bottles)Instead I find it best to drink from this bottle as if it were a canteen, the centred spout helps to accommodate this way of drinking.I have yet to experience any other problems with this bottle, such as the pattern chipping away, however I don't leave this in a bag with sharp or metal objects such as keys so maybe that's why.Pros:- Durable hard plastic- Suitable size and capacity- Easy to drink from (no need to force liquid out)- Convenient fabric handle for carry- Aesthetically pleasing designsCons:- Rubber grip eventually loosened- Paint might wear off if scratched- No air intake hole (if you're the type to suck water from bottles)Overall I'd highly recommend this product.

These Aladdin Aveo bottles are absolutely brilliant - we have quite a few of them and use them an awful lot. This particular size is the larger bottle which they produce, taking 600 ml. It is a very good size for longer days out or going to exercise in the gym etc.The lid on these bottles is quite secure, and I have never had a problem with leakage in my bag. They are BPA free which many of the cheaper bottles we used to purchase are not. I seem to be hearing more and more about the importance of being BPA free these days and the fact that these are makes me more comfortable allowing my young children to use these bottles. My three year old takes one into nursery with her and really likes it.These bottles also survive being dropped quite regularly - we have only had one breakage which I find amazing considering how much we use these bottles. The spout on the bottle is easy and comfortable to drink from. There is also a carry loop on the bottle. I've never seen the need for this! The bottles are dishwasher safe and are therefore hygienic.Overall, I'm very pleased with both how these bottles look (they are a nice design) and their performance.Recommended.

Quick delivery from this seller.I use my own filtered water jug so was re-using old plastic water bottles. They shouldn't be reused and even state on the bottles so I needed an alternate. there are a couple of glass bottle containers out there I was more keen on getting to be honest - completely plastic free - but £10 + to get a bottle that will probably last me about 2 days after all I am like the female Frank Spencer (clumsy for those too young to know).I also wanted a container I could carry that wouldn't be too bulky when attempting to jog/walk at a fast pace.Anyhoo I have dropped this from certain height by accident and was expecting the impact to damage this but not a scratch was had.It is a little skinnier than your average 500 ml water bottle but obviously it is taller (this holds 600 ml) but I have no problem with this. As mentioned it has a handle but I find this helpful to refrain from dropping it (again).Would highly recommend this product and would buy again no problem.

Bought this as i required a strong and sturdy bottle for university. This was fantastic! It was not too big that it felt an extra load was being carried around or small that it didn't hold enough water/ liquid at a time. The bottle itself is clear with a beautiful simple design as well as the brand logo across the bottom end. It consists of essentially two lids; one (bottom) to be used when filling and the other (top) to be removed when drinking. However, the lid can also be unscrewed as a single lid by turning only the bottom where the rubber grip is placed which leads to quicker and greater access. Also, I found that the wrist band was extra helpful to securely carry between classes without continuously placing it in and out of my bag. Please note that this strap on the bottle cannot be removed which was not an issue for me but just note it in mind.Overall, the product is excellent and even though i have dropped it on many occasions here and there it still retains its function. Perfect!

Bought this to replace another Aladdin bottle of the same design which had undergone a lot of punishment (regularly being dropped on concrete pavements, and on granite rocks up fells and the like. One drop too many did for it, but I had had it for a year or two at that point. The bottle itself is of a straightforward design - bottle, screw-on lid with a hole, and then a screw-on cap that fits over that. In my experience - and that of others in my family who also use an alladin bottle - this forms a watertight seal. I regularly put the bottle in my bag on its side confident it will not leak (and it never has). It’s easy to clean - it can all go in the dishwasher.Because there is no silicon or similar around the mouthpiece - just a hole like in an ordinary single-use plastic water bottle - there’s nowhere for black mould or similar to form.Capacity wise - it is great.

What can I say about a water bottle? There's not much to it, but it's a great design (others have openly commented on the bottle in public, and bare in mind, this is a water bottle!), doesn't leave your water with the 'plastic-y' taste and 0.6litres is a good size for your average day. I bought this for my partner as she's somewhat prone to spilling (read: clumsy) and this is a great bottle for her.The neck detatches into two pieces, one to drink from and one for filling. The neck is really wide for filling up so makes it easy, and the spout to drink from is wide enough that you aren't going to struggle drinking from it. The body is plastic but very hard wearing, and has survived the drop test several times. The only flaw is that due to the size of the drinking spout, if you were to knock this over without the lid on, prepare for everything to get soaked very quickly.

These bottles are brilliant. I purchased one in December 2015 and it's still going strong, but I've since bought another one because they're so good.Neither of them have ever leaked even when being tossed around inside my bag. I use one of these bottles daily for work. It was important that I had a bottle that was dishwasher proof because I didn't want to be spending ages handwashing it - these go in the dishwasher all the time and have been fine wash after wash - even the fabric handle part. The pattern of both of them haven't washed off at all and they don't smell or taste funny, which is a problem I've had with other bottles. The bottles look good and are a good size.I've dropped them a few times - even on hard, tiled flooring and they've never cracked or broken - they're really durable. They're nice and easy to refill and drink out of.

I'm always thirsty- I suffer with acute anxiety and my mouth is very dry as a result. I am rarely seen without a cola or water bottle so that I have relief at hand. This bottle is great I am sure I have saved so much money not replacing branded water bottles 2 to 3 times a week. This bottle is handy to carry about with the strap and the fact that it is leak proof, stain proof and doesn't have the 'cancer chemicals' is a bonus. It's worth every penny.I bought the 'I'm a green bottle' Aladdin flask in blue which fits into car cup holders. This bottle is better, it's easier to drink out of, hold more liquid and the other leaks. This really is a great product...Which is why I am buying another to take to work!

This is a simple bottle but has a few features that I like. It is a straight-sided bottle and you can remove the whole lid section and drink like a cup, but the lid section has two parts so you can remove the top only to give you a central spout. But it's not like a sports cap, it just pours out, so there's no noisy sucking and air bubbling. The lid system also makes it easy to clean with no little nooks and crannies for mould to grow. The handle strap isn't quite big enough to go around my wrist but at least it does enable me to carry something else in the same hand. It was a bit bigger than I was expecting but will do me for monitoring my fluid intake and making sure I take water with mewhen I go out.

I wanted a water bottle specifically for overnight use in the bedroom. Aesthetically I would have preferred a glass carafe and tumbler set but was concerned that whilst half asleep, I might break or spill it.The Aladdin water bottle is visually lovely. I chose a colour and design to match our bedroom decor. The tall, slim and curved shape is both elegant and practical allowing for a good grip. The top unscrews in two sections, one for fast, easy filling, the second for comfortable, non drip drinking. I store my bottle, horizontally, in the fridge, and providing both sections are firmly tightened it does not leak.My only slight concern is the holding strap which I don't think is waterproof orremovable.

We love these bottles, now all six of us have one. Have used these for school for a year or so and survived (back when children actually went to school not homeschooling at the dining table). The screw on lids and mouth pieces are easy to clean, we normally throw them all in the dishwasher. We changed all our to these so no more cleaning little fold up spouts or straws. We lost one to the bin after it was dropped for the hundredth time and was full but I can't rate these highly enough.Only downside is we have to listen to our kids moan about how they want a my little pony or frozen bottle like their friends. We use them all day everyday even when around the house like the past few months
