Some of the instructions are either not clear or just misleading. Ie; there is one part which needs to be slid in horizontally together but the shows it being vertically connected - so my 9yo son needed help a fe times. Placing the stickers accurately was also a little fiddly. That said, the finished model is great and my kid loves playing with it - certainly easier to construct than a traditional Airfix style kit.If the recipient is going to be quite young I'd be prepared to help them put this together in a few places. Great finished model able to withstand a few knocks and bumps from your little pilots!

These quick builds are great! If your child (or yourself in my case) doesn’t have the patience for full airfix builds (I know this is the attraction of airfix to some people) this is a great alternative! They are indeed quick builds, and you’ve got a great model at the end of it! Have got a number of these over the past while and all good quality! Would recommend! ✅

With just a little help, co-ordination and with tongue poking out in concentration, my 5yr old grandson snapped the pieces together with ease, he's now the proud owner of something he assembled, boasts about and plays with, it's a reasonable price and delivery was in good time...

Shape and detailing good, however the red colour indicated on the packaging is better than the actual model colour.Some pieces do not 'lock in' securely as would be expected, this also occurs with other models.For the price, Airfix needs to up their quality control.

Brilliant gift for my av geek of a hubby. He loves the Reds, and most models are highly priced. Found this product in another shop for a much higher price. He thoroughly enjoyed building it too, as it was a bit of a challenge.

I wanted to do a model with my 4yo son. I got the real Airfix model at a school fete but it was too tricky for a 4yo so we gave it to his 7yo cousin and bought this instead. It was great fun doing it together.

Bought for a 5 year old, but enjoyed by all in the family! Clips together easily, no glue, no tools needed. Makes a beautiful little model with smooth edges. The decals (ie stickers) are accurate too.

Great fun for the kids to make although the tail section does snap quite easy. We’ve purchased the red and black hawks and the tail snapped on both. Nothing a little bit of super glue can’t sort out.

Great kit for my seven year old to enjoy. He followed the instructions and completed it alone. There's an optional stand to hold the finished product which I thought was a good idea.

A nice idea to get kids into kit building. Given as a present and recipient very happy, only four stars as it is rather expensive for the time it takes to put together
