Now I've not made a model kit in close on 40 years and these are an easy way back into the hobby without having to spend a fortune on paints, brushes and glue. The only thing you really need not in the kit is a modelling knife to cut the parts from the plastic sprue - but if you have a sharp penknife away you go. Paints are acrylic so brushes wash out in warm water (bot don't let the brush dry before you the paint out) and the paint covers reasonably well (not as thick as enamel but the small detail such as panel lines doesn't get hidden so easily.These starter sets would make a nice gift for someone looking to try modelling, or as a cheap way back into the hobby after a break.

Great job Airfix!Airfix is really refreshing itself with quality molding, fitting and shape. A Typhoon at its finest is in this neat airfix kit that fits perfectly, save in my case with the wings to the fuselage. Bombs, rockets or neither, undercarriage up or down, canopy back or forth, all the options you might want, so you can buy multiple of these kits and not be bored.Buy this kit and you can not be disappointed.

Nice kit. Evening is included and easy to assemble. Just have to be careful with small parts. Took me a 3 evenings to build but this is a first time when I'm building one of those. Anyway great fun for all ages.

great Christmas gift for my sonneeds help putting together but this was a nice father son experience.The parts can be a bit tricky to get out of the holder if they are small and you dont want to break them
