EDIT - 19 Dec 2019. READ BEFORE BUYING FOLKS!=================================================================One thing I have discovered about this particular Terrex model - the ankle 'cut out'is quite low - and you do feel some flex when running - as if the heel wants tolift out of the back of the shoe.Initially, I wondered if this was because I'd done the laces up relatively loosely - as I dowith new running shoes = you can't always judge how quickly they'll break in.But no... It is a design oversight.IF you're a heel striker, I think you'll find this less of an issue - but if you're a FOREFOOTlander like me - you can certainly tell /feel the flex. This is great pity as the shoes themselves are beautifully made. This might be why the seller is labelling them a 'fitness shoe' - not entirely honest! And, not exactly the sort of guff that will cut any mustard with any seasoned runnerthat knows A. their brand, and B. what 'name' links with what use in the manufacturers' range.{Terrex is Adidas' trail running range!}So... Heel strikers aside - you might well get on with these OK, for Forefootstrikers --- can I suggest you try the later models from the Terrex range - theylook to have ironed this out on subsequent Terrex. (run in the house to double check if you like)Am I going to return them? Probably not - as they were cheap. It's Xmas, and I've got other things to do with the money I would need to add to getsome late model Terrex. + Doing them up tight, makes it not quite so bad.Not ideal though by any means! Hope this helps! :-)===================================================================First run done a few minutes after delivery -- a mixed route, partly pavement, and partly woodland.Typical Adidas - excellent quality, neat stitching, and obviously put together with thought and care. The grip - excellent - nice deep tread, and 'lugs' wide enough apart to self clear. The lugs aren't as pronounced as a specific fell/mud shoe, but then these don't reallywork well on the road - so this is a nice 'mid range' design; but I would run on the moors with them -they're plenty grippy enough. Maybe switch to INOV8s if it was really muddy...Comfort's great - nice soft inner, and well cushioned. Probably more comfy than my Glide19s.{Which I do cite as the best shoes I've ever had, over 3 decades running, and many, many 1000s of mls}Wear - as per my other reviews - I'd become quite frustrated with the poor longevity of shoesfrom a variety of manufacturers ... My last few pairs (before my switch to Adidas) have been ASICS,but over the years I've used Saucony, Mizuno, and before I discovered their dubious ethics Nike ....Few of them seem to last well. Following some research, and discovering Adidas had teamed up withContinental (German tyre manufacturer) - I tried, and liked. [One tip - avoid anything with a blownrubber sole!]Obviously, I can't predict what these trail shoes will be like, from 1 run, but my Glides are holding upVERY well after a few hundred miles. So, I envisage these will be similarly long lasting.Value? Under 50 quid for a shoe of this quality? Brilliant. (about 43£ in my size 8UK)Shows what you can find, if you dig around long enough ...If you're flexible, and don't feel the need for this years colours etc ... You can find somegreat bargains!I'll update this review if I find I have any useful comments to add.Happy running people! #JC4PM #GTTO #FreeJulianAssange #PayYourTaxesAmazonp.s. Don't know why it says 'fitness shoes' on the product description?Seen quite a few trainers with odd 'tags' .. 'Nordic Walking Shoes' might be the most bizarre...

Two positive points. First, the shoes are wide and you don't squeeze your feet, so it's good for those with wide feet. Second, they are really light and comfortable, for those looking for a shoe for long walks or runs it is perfect. Two negative points. First, in my heel the shoe doesn't stop well, it gives me the feeling that the shoe comes off. Second, the sole is not so stable, rightly to be too comfortable (high and soft) it does not give me total feeling of safety on the trails.

Good shoes for running or hiking in the mountains. Also perfect for the city due to its design if you just want them for a walk. Solid and light, but at the same time they collect the foot well. They are wide and comfortable, not like others that are very narrow and for people with pronator footprints they do well. Very beautiful, more than what is reflected in the photos. Recommended.

This is a shoe that best fit my passion for trekking and tactical shooting as it can be use for both sports. Great value and a very good looking shoes. Fit is a bit snug, so I recommend to size up if you want a more loose fit.

It is the second purchase I make in this store, I found the prices of the articles the lowest on the web, shipping is very fast and accurate with even the photo of the package being sent. What more could you ask for?

off-road footwear for trail, continental sole espcially good on rock even wet, a wonder in that aspect. for wide foot and not very narrow since they are of wide form, normal size. highly recommended for this price.

The shoes are really comfortable. The only drawback I see is that if your training is on asphalt, the sole wears out very quickly.

2.6.2020

A pleasant surprise, very comfortable from minute one, they adapt phenomenally and the comfort and grip are very good. Very happy

A shoe that fits very well to the demands of the terrain, with impressive stability, in addition to its stability

It took me a while to adapt to the toe cap but I'm happy. I think they are perfect for the track.

Good shoes for trail running, need a bit of wearing in but extra protection comes in handy.

Walk very lightly. Stand out slightly larger than my previous adidas shoes.
